| Race 1 | www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C3/4 - 318 | Racing down in to the first turn NATHAN'S CHAMP came across on to BERRIDALE BULLET and PROVEN SHELLY who was turned sideways a couple of strides further on THRILLING BLITZ raced across on to NATHAN'S CHAMP putting pressure on BERRIDALE BULLET and PROVEN SHELLY who was almost dragged down ,all these runners were checked and lost ground In behind LOCHINVAR YASI came across and collided with ASTON RED who was severly hampered for several strides losing ground . LOCHINVAR YASI was observed to be lame on pulling up and was sent for a vet check wher he was found to have a right fore biceps muscle injury with a 28 day stand down recommended. GLOW BELLE DOLL was a late scratching at kenneling when presented with long head triceps muscle injury with a 10 day stand down recommended |
| Race 2 | Auckland Vending Sprint - C0 - 318 | From the boxes WHERE'S THE CAT stumbled as he attemted to cut across the face of the field towards the rail WHERE'S THE CAT then ran in between runners causing JETSUN COAL RUMBALL AND ICE to be checked he then ran in and collided with YEAH NAH pushing this runner over towards the rail. WHERE'S THE CAT ended up in the rear and was sent for a vet check and was found to have a left fore stopper pad with a 10 day stand down recommended. NODDYS MISTRESS stood and missed the start by a couple of lengths then had to make ground around the field to run on strongly late for 4th placing at the line. |
| Race 3 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C1 - 318 | From the boxes HARVEY NICHOLS and ASTUTE WHIZ came together further in LEGEND BEE and BINGO STARR collided with BINGO STARR stumbling for a stride. soon after wider out FOUR TOO MANY and ASTUTE WHIZ bumped racing in to the first turn LEGEND BEE was in near the lead when HARVEY NICHOLS cut aross severly checking LEGEND BEE who went back to the rear by several lengths LEGEND BEE finished several lengths in the rear at the line and was sent for a vet check where she was found to have right hip support muscle pain with a 10 day stand down recommended |
| Race 4 | Jo's TAB Onehunga Sprint - C3 - 318 | Racing in to the first turn AGENT VICTOR came across on to PERCENTAGE MAN with AGENT VICTOR losing a length or so just a head of these runners HOLLAND BADGER ran in to the hind quarters of MR MAJESTIC pushing this runner causing him to stumble and go off stride. MR MAJESTIC went outwards as he attempted to recover his balance how ever he was observed to shorten stride on the top bend where he finished some distance behind the field. MR MAJESTIC was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered a right shoulder joint injury with a 28 day stand down recommended the vet also recommended further investigation by xrays. |
| Race 5 | McGhie Plumbing Stakes - C1/2 - 527 | OPAWA JONNY missed the start by 5 lengths FUTURE PROOF was also slow away by a couple of lengths with these two runners being in the rear through out THRILLING ELLA (fav) was severly tightened racing in to the first turn as THRILLING CHARGE and DIVA RHODE came across THRILLING ELLA was pushed on to the heels of THRILLING BOLT as TATA SAFARI pushed through on her inner. THRILLING ELLA lost ground and only battled there after finishing in 4th placing at the line and was vetted and found to have suffered a left fore split webbing with a 10 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 6 | Auckland Co-op Taxis Sprint - C2 - 318 | As the field jumped away from the boxes KIOWA WHIZ and CULLEN'S IMPACT collided with KIOWA WHIZ running out on to ART ATTACK PATH TO PLAMY from the wide draw raced wide through out the journey being forced to cover a fair amount of extra ground she finished a few lengths in the rear at the line. |
| Race 7 | $50K Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527 | Soon after the start there was crowding between ONLY KATE FANCY TOBY FUN TIME GIRL and LA FAYETTE for a couple of strides soon after FUN TIME GIRL came across forcing ONLY KATE over on to PENO BOY with SEEING EXCUSES running in to the hind quarters of PENO BOY and being checked back towards the rear PENO BOY ran wide in to and around the first bend . SEEING EXCUSES made good ground up after the earlier inteferance to finish in 3rd placing at the line The winner FUN TIME GIRL was vetted as a precaution after having sustained a possible hind toe injury with no abnormalities detected |
| Race 8 | Thornton Auctions Sprint - C3/4 - 318 | From the boxes MOON WARROWER ran in to DON'T KNOW then HOT LASS came out as MOON WARROWER kept attempting to get across with DON'T KNOW forcing his way back in to a gap in avoiding the heels of HOT LASS DON'T KNOW kept an outward pressure on MOON WARROWER who was not able to improve his position eventually being unbalanced and losing ground back to the rear a few strides further on HOT LASS and DON'T KNOW bumped both these runners lost a couple of lengths at this point. |
| Race 9 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | Racing in to the first turn HOT POOTIE was vying for the lead when AIN'T NO SAINTcame across causing HOT POOTIE to check a stride and was forced over on to the heels of MAHALO RHODE HOT POOTIE ran out of room and fell rolling a couple of times before regaining her footing to chase the field to the lure HOT POOTIE was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 10 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C5 - 318 | CAPTAIN COUTTS (fav) was slow away then ran out to avoid the heels of PICNIC TIME who crossed towards the rail CAPTAIN COUTT lost a couple of lengths at this point soon after racing in to the first turn CAPTAIN RICHIE raced across on to BLUE TRAMP pushing this runner over on to CAPTAIN COUTTS BLUE TRAMP and CAPTAIN COUUTS were badly hampered at this point losing ground back to the rear and they were unable to get back in to contention from there on in . |
| Race 11 | Trophies Plus Stakes - C3 - 527 | From the boxes SUMMER SPICE crossed on to SASHA'S ONE with BE DELICIOUS being checked back Racing in to the back straight INDEED UNIQUE raced through on the inner of SUMMER SPICE pushing this runner out towards the heels of SURFING AL, SUMMER SPICE was checked back and never improved there after. On the home turn INDEED UNIQUE and SURFING AL came together and lost a length or so. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | COSMIC BOLERO was akwardly away from the boxes was then held up for several strides as EXACT MASTER and TESTIFY came together ,further out PURE THEATRE moved out as JETSUN PLAYBOY raced across on to CARUBA KING FIRESIDE BLAZE and COSMIC BOLERO in behind these runners was checked at this point losing more ground back to the rear. EXACT MASTER ran wide in to and around the top bend finishing strongly for 4th placing at the line JETSUN PLAYBOY sustained a left hind digit/pad and webbing with suturing required a 21 day stand down recommended. |
