| Race 2 | Garrard's Horse And Hound OTB Maiden Heat - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | KNOW BACKCHAT walked out of the inside box and settled a long last. She made ground to be fifth at the line. FLOSSY HAKA and SPLASHED OUT came together in the early stages with FLOSSY HAKA dropping to the rear. Into the first bend OPAWA ZAC angled outwards checking SPLASHED OUT and RICH LIST with these runners losing ground. |

MOON AND SEA ran outwards in the early stages checking SMASH AMEGO and OPAWA BART. OPAWA BART received another check into the first bend as an improving KNOW ATTEMPT improved on his inside. |
| Race 5 | Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295 | BUSINESS CLASS, MULBERRY CATO and GREEN TREATS were all tightened soon after the jump. BUTTER FLYER then ran outwards and marred the running of NO LANE with this runner losing ground. Into the bend TEKOA ran inwards tightening NO LANE and BUTTER FLYER with resultant checks to BUSINESS CLASS, MULBERRY CATO and GREEN TREATS all of whom lost ground. BUTTER FLYER was suspended for 3 months under Rule 80.1.a as this was the dogs second breach of this Rule. |
| Race 6 | Happy Birthday Jean Fahey Stakes - C1 - 520 | NOGGIN ran inwards in the early stages checking CROSSFIRE MAX who dropped to the rear. Soon after JUDGE TO EXCEL also angled inwards tightening NOGGIN and SHOULD BE CARLOS. |
| Race 7 | Vital Petfoods NZ Bred Sprint Heat - C1q - 295 Heat 1 | DRYSDALE and ARCHIES TOKEN were slow to jump. DRYSDALE did well to run second. Into the bend HOMEBUSH ACE came together with BOTANY COMET and ran outwards checking OHOKA HART with ARCHIES TOKEN also being inconvenienced. |

GUNS ON FIRE then ran inwards into the bend coming together with BLONDE TORI and then angled outwards into the path of BOTANY NANA who was checked. Closer in RANGITOTO ROHI ran outwards checking TOTALLY CONFUSED who lost momentum. |

BANK ROLLER ran inwards sharply in the early stages checking CALM SPIRIT and WANDY CHLOE. PAROLE TO EXCEL then ran outwards with WANDY CHLOE again being the victim. Into the first bend HAMPDEN SPIRIT received a slight check as JACKS FIRST crossed from his outside. CALM SPIRIT ran wide on the home turn when well back. |
| Race 11 | Vital Petfoods NZ Bred Sprint Heat - C1q - 295 Heat 4 | LACHIES LAD ran inwards at dispatch badly checking VALENTINES DAY who lost ground and her chance. LACHIES LAD also came together with DONT CALL ME who was on his way outwards. DONT CALL ME then ran wide into the bend losing ground. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295 | The winner WAZZA FREEBIE was a clear last on jumping but with tightening inside her was able to secure a run into the race and kicked on too well for the opposition. BLACK MERCEDES ran inwards and GEORGE BAXTER angled outwards in the early stages with RAMBUNCTIOUS, AVEC LAMOUR, FLYING JOJO and ELUSIVE DEEJAY all receiving rocky passages. AVEC LAMOUR angled outwards in the run home and checked ELUSIVE DEEJAY when these dogs were towards the rear. |
