LES HART made his normal inwards movement in the early stages tightening HAUKO and HOMEBUSH SARINA who lost ground. LES HART was then tightened into the bend by kennelmate HOT SHOT LAWYER and dropped out to the rear. |
| Race 2 | David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C3 - 295 | HOMEBUSH COLT and BENNY'S ANGEL were the slowest into stride. In the early stages THRILLING CLOVER angled inwards tightening JIMMY CEE and REDDY BOY who lost ground. REDDY BOY was then held up for clear racing room into the bend and had to scout wide on the bend to obtain this room running on well for fourth. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C3 - 520 | THRILLING JONAH ran outwards in the early stages coming together with WONNIE WONDER. Simultaneously MAINLAND STAR headed railwards making contact with NOT A KNOW. WONNIE WONDER dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing a mild hock strain with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 4 | Murray @ Ray White Ph.3715005 Dash - C4 - 295 | RED CARPET, WANDY GENO and WEONA DARLING were the slowest from the traps. RED CARPET, WANDY GENO and RUN FOR IT all came together into the bend losing ground and their chances. |
| Race 5 | Flair Sprint - C4 - 295 | CAWBOURNE LEVI was a touch slow from the inside. FIERY FLOWER ran outwards into the bend and contacted FAIR MOVIN who lost ground and dropped to the rear. Peter Seque the co-trainer was questioned in regards to the vast improvement of the winner ENABLE. He told Stewards that the dog is now back to his optimal racing weight and this together with a recent downgrade has made the dog competitive again. |
| Race 6 | Sky High Scaffolding N.Z. Racing Series Heat - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1 | JONNY JET angled outwards in the early stages checking BOBS EYE for a stride. Into the bend WATERVIEW LASS was tightened for a stride and lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Sky High Scaffolding N.Z. Racing Series Heat - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2 | KNOW SPUNK, MONTY DOSH and ADMIRE were the slowest into stride. WALK DA TORQUE angled outwards in the early stages checking MONTY DOSH and OPAWA STYLE who lost ground. Soon after ADMIRE ran inwards tightening HOMEBUSH IRIS who lost a couple of lengths. |
| Race 8 | Buy Sell & Exchange Dash - C5 - 295 | RAMRADA ran inwards in the back straight with all of the inside dogs namely ROMBERG LASS, WANDY HALLEE, THEOKOLES and FIREMAN'S SALUTE all being tightened and losing ground. |
| Race 9 | 2012 Kolorful Kanvas Robinson Rosebowl - C5 - 520 | SUGAR PLUM and YELLA MUSTARD were the last to jump. RINGO'S COLT drifted to the rear in the early stages and dropped right out with a post race veterinary check revealing a torn gracilis muscle with a 28 day stand down recommended. GRACE HILL led into the first bend but then was checked and tightened losing ground and running outwards checking an improving YELLA MUSTARD who lost ground. At the end of the back straight MOLLY PAISLEY was tightened as MAGIC LASS crossed her and then she was checked from behind by YELLA MUSTARD. MOLLY PAISLEY dropped away after these incidents. The winner EMILY BAXTER was knocked over at the lure with a post race veterinary examination of this bitch revealing no abnormalities. |
| Race 10 | Sky High Scaffolding N.Z. Racing Series Heat - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3 | JINJARANGO and OPAWA PEEKAY were the slowest from the traps. SPACE RACE ran inwards in the early stages checking KNOW WHICH with that runner losing ground. On the home turn HOMEBUSH EDITH and SPACE RACE came together with these runners dropping out to tail the field home. |
| Race 11 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C5 - 295 | KNOW MISTAKE and LADAKH were the last to jump. COOL JORDIE shifted up the track into the bend tightening GAZZA'S PRIDE who ran outwards checking REAL CLEVER and LADAKH who were both forced wide losing their chances. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 | PHAEDRA'S FIRST ran inwards into the bend tightening HOMEBUSH MAYHEM who ran out of room and fell. HOMEBUSH MAYHEM completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. OKUKU WEE MAN and PURE AND SPECIAL were inconvenienced in this incident. |
