Track: Good The meeting proceeded smoothly with all equipment functioning well. However the Stewards were concerned that the track was too firm and the Club wil be ensuring that remedial work will be carried out over the next couple of days.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer J.McInerney was fined $ 100-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 69.11 when AERIAL BAXTER was presented 1.7 kilograms overweight from its last start on 29.06.12.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305	LIGHTNING FEVER was slow to begin losing three lengths. CAWBOURNE FLICK shifted in from the start and checked EMMAS SECRET who lost ground. CHASING SHADOWS shifted in from the start and caused tightening to several runners with EMMAS SECRET the most affected and she lost three lengths. She then checked over the heels of HOMEBUSH GWEN on the bend losing further ground and finished near the rear. THRILLING PIPPI ran very wide on the bend and into the straight losing ground and she finished in 2nd last place.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	SEDGEBROOK ELITE went up with the box lids losing five lengths. LINDOP, HOMEBUSH DOMINO and CHARLI CLANG jostled together for a few strides soon asfter the start and lost a little momentum. CHARLI CLANG and CAWBOURNE DARCY bumped together when leading into the straight and they lost ground. THUNDA THIGHS drifted off the back of the field on the first corner and finished in last place and was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	TALEEDY TROOPER shifted out fromm the start and checked ANOTHER STREET who went back to the rear and she stayed well back throughout. SHARI JEWEL was tightened between runners going into the bend and was checked back to last and finished in that position.
Race 4	Guthrie Bowron C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	RUN ALAN and ASTONISHING were slow to begin. CAWBOURNE EMO, JOLOKIA and ASTONISHING were checked going into the bend losing ground and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C3 Feature - SPECA - 520	SHEZA RATBAG shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to MICK MANIA and BOTANY MATTHEW and they went back to the rear. THRILLING CAIRO was checked going into the back straight when SHEZA RATBAG shifted in but he recovered to finish in 3rd place. MICK MANIA went off stride on the final bend and dropped back to last and finished in that position and he was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Broad Roofing C2 - C2 - 305	RON BAXTER shifted in and bumped KINETIC RIO at the start and KINETIC RIO then shifted in abruptly and checked CYCLONE SIX who lost three lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C5 - C5 - 305	EMMA MARIE shifted out and AERIAL BAXTER shifted in from the start and this resulted in checks to ANOTHER GON, HOMEBUSH BRITNEY, CIAO FOR NOW and HOMEBUSH ZITA who all lost ground with HOMEBUSH ZITA being the most affected and she lost several lengths and tailed the field throughout the race. After being checked in the earlier incident, the favourite CIAO FOR NOW raced wide covering extra ground and finished in 5th place.
Race 8	GEON Wellington C2 - C2 - 520	RAMASSEE and LIL MISS KRUNCH bumped together soon after the start and both lost ground. RAMESSEE shifted in going into the first corner and checked LIL MISS KRUNCH and KAZILLION who both lost ground and KAZILLION made firm contact with the rail. KAZILLION then shifted out and caused checks to OPAWA GIFT, LIL MISS KRUNCH and HOMEBUSH MELL and they were forced wide into the bend and stayed back to finish in the last three places. KAZILLION was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Gary Ross Decorator C5 - C5 - 305	HARMONY BAXTER and ANOTHER MOVE were slow to begin losing two lengths. IMA SPICE shifted out on two occasions in the race to the first corner and bumped OPAWA BLACK each time. STATELY BABE was in 2nd place on the bend when she went off stride and went quickly back through the field to finish several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 42 days with a fractured hock. HARMONY BAXTER was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with damage to toe ligaments and joint as a result of being spiked.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	ASHER and TAILS OFF bumped together soon after the start and lost ground. ANOTHER BREEZE shifted in going into the first corner and checked KAZZ RAZZ and KANGO KLINK who both lost ground. KAZZ RAZZ recovered to finish in 3rd place but KANGO KLINK stayed well back and finished last.
Race 11	Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305	PIN UP PUPPY shifted in going to the first corner and jostled with LITTLE WISHES and DONNA BAXTER and after several strides LITTLE WISHES was checked losing several lengths and DONNA BAXTER also lost a little ground.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305	CAWBOURNE ELLEN was the slowest to begin losing two lengths. THRILLING LYRIC, RONS SECRET and CORTECCIA jostled together soon after the start and they lost a little momentum.
