Weather: FineTrack: Good The meeting proceeded smoothly apart from the incident in race 6 where part of the sheep skin came off the lure. The track was well presented.

| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305 | SAMBUCCA and SISTER SLICK were slow to begin losing three lengths but they both recovered to finish in 1st and 3rd places. HOMEBUSH EDDIE faltered soon after the start and lost ground and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. MARJI MAYCEE shifted out and EZY AS shifted in going to the first corner and this resulted in checks to INTENSE ZOOM and THIRSTY SHAYNE who both lost ground. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 305 | BOBS YOUR UNCLE collided with the hind quarters of SAUCY TOMATO going into the bend and they jostled together for a few strides and lost ground. BOBS YOUR UNCLE recovered to finish in 4th place while SAUCY TOMATO stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 3 | GEON Wellington C0 Final - C0f - 305 | OTEWA BELLA and STAT ME UP were a little slow to begin. STAT ME UP and RED HOT DUTCH shifted out going into the first corner and RED HOT DUTCH galloped on the back of BOTOX ROX who was dragged down and suffered a fractured foreleg and she was humanely euthanased. RED HOT DUTCH lost several lengths and all chance in the incident. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 305 | SLANGEVAR and BOMBER MAN were slow to begin losing three lengths. SLANGEVAR then lost further ground when checking off the heels of VICKIS QUEST going into the first corner. TRICKY PAULA was handy coming to the home straight but ran very wide and drifted to finish in 6th place. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 520 | GIRLY DREAMZ was checked on the first bend and she went back to last and stayed there to finish in that position. HOMEBUSH LACEY who was also reasonably well supported was forced to race wide after starting from box 7 and she finished well back. |
| Race 6 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 | GUNS ON FIRE was slow to begin losing three lengths. SHOWTINME ADDIS shifted in going to the first corner and checked BLACK JAY who lost several lengths and he finished in last place. SAFFRON FLAHERTY and RANDOM ACT collided on the first corner and both dogs lost ground. Part of the lure sheep skin fell off onto the track soon after the start and in the opinion of the Steward, the only dogs that changed stride were CAWBOURNE CASEY who looked inwards for a couple of strides but then quickly went to a clear lead before being run down in the straight and she finiished in 2nd place and BLACK JAY who held his place but was checked some distance further on. It was the Stewards opinion that the result of the race was not affected by the incident. |
| Race 7 | Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH DIGBY shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to KINETIC NEO, SANDY BAY, HOMEBUSH SUE and COUGH IT UP with KINETIC NEO falling and the other affected runners all lost ground and they finished in the rear group. KINETIC NEO was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 8 | Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 305 | THUNDERING JET, KINETIC FLYER and BILLY HAKA came together and jostled for a few strides soon after the start. |
| Race 9 | Keenan Concrete C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 | SHARKIES DREAM shifted out off the heels of another runner going into the first bend and this resulted in checks to itself and also BIG GIRL WELSHY and TWIN TIGERS who all lost ground. SHARKIES DREAM suffered a cut foot and toenail injury and was stood down for 14 days. |

| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | RANDO REASON, HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD, POWER GIRL and OPAWA PRINCE jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and they all lost some momentum. OPAWA PRINCE recovered the best of them and he finished in 2nd place. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | MISTER WHISKER, KEZZ and HOMEBUSH TAYLOR came together and bumped when the start was made and they settled at the rear. WILD VAGABOND ran wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and he finished in last place. |
