Track: Good The track was presented in good order and all equipment functioned well apart from a computor malfunction in race10 which resulted in no time being taken.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 520	SYDILICIOUS was slow to begin losing three lengths and he settled at the rear. SMOOCHA and LIBBYLICIOUS came together and bumped on the first corner and they both lost ground, settled at the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C3 - C3 - 305	SEDGEBROOK ELITE and SEDGEBROOK LEE were slow to begin losing two lengths. PARRA SPARRA shifted out going to the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE FLICK who lost ground, went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 3	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C3 - C3 - 520	The favourite UNPROFESSIONAL was a little slow to begin and she then ran wide into the first bend and drifted back to last. She then mounted a strong run to make up the lost ground and won the race. TAILS OFF was checked back to last going into the back straight and he stayed well back. LIL MISS KRUNCH was checked going into the final bend, went back to last and drifted further behind to finish several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 4	NZRS Ht1 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 1	The favourite SNICKO was the slowest to begin and he and BIMBOO were then checked losing several lengths in the run to the first corner and they lost all chance and finished in 5th and last places.
Race 5	NZRS Ht2 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 2	BILLY WHIZZ began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and he finished in 5th place. JACKIE SHIRAZ and HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN jostled together for several strides going to the first corner losing several lengths and they finished in the last two places.
Race 6	NZRS Ht3 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 3	The start of this event was delayed by about 2 minutes when a replacement muzzle was required. The race was all clear,.
Race 7	NZRS Ht4 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 4	STATELY BABE shifted in on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH LIGNITE who lost four lengths and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. DECLARATION shifted out going into the bend and collided with BOUND BY PRIDE losing several lengths and she finished in last place.
Race 8	Broad Roofing C4 - C4 - 305	SNAP TO IT drew box 8 and was forced to race wide as a result. He was bumped from the inside going into the bend and forced even wider covering considerable extra ground and finished in 6th place.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete Wanganui Cup C5 Ht 1 - C5q - 520 Heat 1	HOWLIN WIND shifted in from the start causing a chain reaction of movement inwards and with EMILY BAXTER shifting out slightly, there was tightening and a severe check to LITTLE MOTHER who almost fell and she went back to last. LITTLE MOTHER then made up some lost ground and finished in 4th place. EMILY BAXTER checked off the heels of AINT NO SAINT on the first bend and shifted out causing checks to MR METICULOUS and ASHER who were forced wide and went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete Wanganui Cup C5 Ht2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	COOL IZMIR, OOH LA COOL and DARLYNE OTTEY jostled together for a few strides soon after the start and lost a little ground. The favourite BIGTIME KINVARA led by several lengths down the back straight but then began to drift and eventually finished three lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 11	Wanganui Security C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	ASHBY ELLY dropped to the rear soon after the start and appeared awkward in her galloping action and finished in last place and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with pain and swelling to a wrist. GURU GOOSE shifted in going to the first corner and dictated CAWBOURNE TOBES in and he made contact with the rail losing four lengths. CAWBOURNE TOBES was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	The winner DONNA BAXTER shifted in going into the bend and checked LITTLE WISHES who lost three lengths but she then recovered to finish in 2nd place.
