| Race 1 | Super Pets Stakes - C0 - 520 | KNOW TASTE was slow to jump while wider out GRIDIRON ducked outwards at the jump checking BUBBA WHO who settled last. Into the first bend OPAWA STU got on the back of CALM BROOKE for a stride dragging this runner down and causing her to lose ground. OPAWA STU then ran outwards checking SECRET SARAH who was forced wide. OPAWA STU received another check on the home turn when well back. A post race veterinary check of CALM BROOKE revealed no obvious abnormalities. |
| Race 2 | Yaldhurst Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 | PIED WARRIOR ambled out of the boxes. BOTANY COMET was checked into the first bend and lost ground. In the home straight NOVAS FORTUNE turned his head inwards and marred the running of OPAWA RAPID on two occasions. This dog was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1.a and must complete a satisfactory trial. NOVAS FORTUNE then fell straight after the race with a post race veterinary check revealing cramp but no stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C0 - 295 | DRYSDALE and EMMA ROSE were the last to jump. JET EVEN ran inwards tightening GREEN TREATS for a stride soon after the jump. PEARLS BOY ran outwards in the early stages and again into the bend with PHANTOM HAKA, DRYSDALE and PARKERMON all losing ground. |
| Race 4 | Sensative Harry At Stud Stakes - C0 - 520 | ERVIN BALE ran outwards at the jump checking KENNYS COMET who lost ground. ERVIN BALE then covered extra ground around the first bend. OPAWA WIN was tightened into the first bend and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 5 | Culverden Hotel Sprint - C0 - 295 | KNOW CONFLICT was last on jumping. Into the bend SADDLEBACK PATCH angled outwards checking TEKOA and LOTUS who both dropped to the rear. On the home turn KNOW CONFLICT ran inwards tightening HAZY DAZE who lost momentum. |
| Race 6 | Business Time At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520 | LAW TO EXCEL was a clear last at the jump. KNOW FUN was tightened into the first bend and then came together with OPAWA CRUSHER with both runners losing ground. OPAWA CRUSHER angled outwards on the home turn briefly coming together with KNOW FUN. |
| Race 7 | christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Sprint - C2 - 295 | REAL FIRE POWER was slow to leave the traps. OKUKU BOMBER checked outwards off the back of ANOTHER STAR with MOLLY PARTON and SHOULD BE CARLOS being badly inconvenienced as a result. Soon after OPAWA EYE came together with REAL FIRE POWER and lost ground. |
| Race 8 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C1 - 295 | HUSKY HAKA weighed in 2kgs under his last race weight with this being a planned decrease. SYDENHAM BUBBLES was the last to jump. EVIDENCE LOCKER ran inwards at the jump tightening RIZZ AROUND and SYDENHAM BUBBLES for a stride. Closer in MIGHTY MONICA made her dive for the rail with HUSKY HAKA receiving a minor check. |
| Race 9 | Flair Stakes Final - C1f - 520 | FEAR GO ducked outwards at the start checking AXEL GRINDER and NOT A KNOW who lost ground. Into the first bend FEAR GO checked outwards off the back of NOT A KNOW pushing AXEL GRINDER over extra ground. |
| Race 10 | Wizelee At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295 | HOME TRUTH and RUBYS GIRL were the slowest into stride. YALDHURST EDWARD ran inwards in the back straight coming together with VALENTINES DAY who then angled outwards checking SYRIPS GIRL. On the bend OKUKU BOBO checked off the back of YALDHURST EDWARD and pushed RUBYS GIRL wide around that bend. |
