| Race 1 | Otago First 4 Maiden Stakes - C0 - 545 | HEROISM and OPAWA PATCH were the last to jump. AUTUMN SPIRIT ran outwards into the first bend pushing OPAWA PATCH and MOON AND SEA wider. SECRET VENUS angled outwards on that bend with HEROISM being forced over extra ground. On the home turn HEROISM ran outwards when improving inconveniencing ERVIN BALE and AUTUMN SPIRIT. |
| Race 2 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1 - 310 | FOGGY STORM and RISING MERCURY were the last to jump. HAZZAS LAD was tightened for a stride and lost momentum into the bend as HIT THE LIP crossed from his outside. HIT THE LIP ran outwards in the home straight coming together with FOGGY STORM with HIT THE LIP losing ground. |
| Race 3 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C2 - 310 | COLONELS CHOICE was the last to leave the boxes. He then received a charmed run along the rail to lead on the bend and win well. Trainer John McInerney explained to Stewards that a minor knee injury had been troubling the dog but this had improved of late. He added that luck in the running played its part today. Into the first bend SING CILLA BLACK ran outwards from the inside pushing LETS DEBATE, SURF QUAKE and SOCRATES wider. MR. CAMEROON dropped out on the home bend finishing a clear last with a post race veterinary check revealing gracilis soreness with a five day stand down recommended. |
| Race 4 | Blue Bubble Dunedin Taxis Stakes - C1 - 545 | WANDY CHLOE and BAKE BEAN BETTY were tightened in the early stages as WANDY PAUL crossed from his outside box. Into the first bend SHADOW WOLF angled outwards pushing BAKE BEAN BETTY and WANDY CHLOE wider. |
| Race 5 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C4 - 310 | WATERHOUSE was the last to jump from the inside. OPAWA COLLAR angled outwards into the bend coming together with STARBURST SUZIE who lost ground. OPAWA COLLAR continued his outward movement pushing GENISTA OUTLAW over extra ground on the home turn. |
| Race 6 | Roofing Solutions Sprint - C3 - 310 | VAMPIRES SHADOW and CREPE MYRTLE were the slowest into stride. VAMPIRES SHADOW checked off the back of BLACK TRIGGER into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Norwood Farm Machinery Stakes - C2/3 - 545 | This race was put back by one minute due to the delay at Addington. OPAWA MIDNIGHT was the last to jump. HOMEBUSH IRIS ran inwards in the early stages checking OPAWA BOMB and OPAWA STYLE who lost ground. HOMEBUSH WILD and OPAWA STYLE came together into the first bend losing ground. OPAWA MIDNIGHT ran wide into the first bend losing ground. On the home turn OPAWA BOMB checked off the back of MISS IRON FIST and came together with OPAWA STYLE for a stride when these runners were at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Green Island Barber Sprint - C1 - 310 | RUBYS GIRL was the last to jump. NAEVIA ducked inwards soon after the jump coming together with MOREPORT SHANNON and losing ground. MOREPORT SHANNON angled inwards into the bend checking YELLOW DIAMONDS who dropped to the rear. NAEVIA ran wide into the bend losing ground. OLD OZARK ran very wide on the home turn covering extra ground. |
| Race 9 | Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C5 - 310 | ANOTHER LEGIN was the last to jump. WANDY BOILER ran outwards checking CAWBOURNE MOFF who lost ground. KNOW RIVAL and KNOW ATTENTION ran wide in behind these runners. |
| Race 10 | Roofing Solutions Stakes - C4/5 - 545 | SUGAR PLUM was the last to jump and remained last throughout. KNOW PERIL checked outwards off DYNA GROLL into the first bend and came together with WATERVIEW LASS for a stride. |
| Race 11 | John & Carolyn Mills Trophy - C5 - 310 | The brothers KNOW ADVANTAGE and KNOW ESCAPE were the slowest into gear. FREDDIE BAXTER ran inwards in the early stages tightening CALLAHAN, GENISTA LIGHTNIN and ANOTHER GON who settled well back as a result. On the bend KNOW ADVANTAGE angled outwards pushing KNOW ESCAPE wider. |
| Race 12 | Racing Again Tuesday 17th July Sprint - C4 - 310 | MUSTARD FUDGE and OPAWA JACK were the last to jump. ANOTHER RAEWYN ran inwards into the bend tightening ICEBERG RAPPER and CAUGHT THE EYE who lost ground. ICEBERG RAPPER and ANOTHER RAEWYN then came together on two occasions on the bend and lost their positions. |
