| Race 1 | Jo's TAB Onehunga Sprint - C4/5 - 318 | BEATRIX KIDDO was the last to jump from the outside. ELLYS GIRL was held up and tightened into the bend losing ground. She made ground well for third. CHA CHA CHAINSAW was checked wider out at this stage and lost ground. Due to a photo finish malfunction there was no photo available for this event with placings being confirmed with the aid of the video replay. There was no head on view for this race due to technical difficulties in the Trackside van. |
| Race 2 | Video Replay @ www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 318 | YEAH NAH was the last to jump. MR. JACK MAGIC ran inwards in the back straight checking EXACT MASTER who lost ground and was held up for some distance thereafter. Into the bend MR. JACK MAGIC came together with TAKE ON ME for a stride as MR. JACK MAGIC continued to angle inwards. |
| Race 3 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C1 - 318 | KINETIC NEO and ONLY KATE were the slowest to find their paws. At the end of the back straight DEB BALE, KINETIC NEO and ONLY KATE all came together when towards the rear with these three runners losing their chances at this point. |
| Race 4 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C4 - 318 | MR. MAJESTIC and COOL AND DRY were the slowest from the traps. BIG SAM'S GIRL and WINSOME BUSTER came together for a stride into the bend with BIG SAM'S GIRL losing ground at this stage. SNAP TO IT took a tumble at the lure with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 5 | Auckland Vending Sprint - C2 - 318 | ART ATTACK and FRIZZLE FRAZZLE were tardily away. PATH TO PALMY edged outwards into the bend tightening CAWBOURNE STEFFI and FRIZZLE FRAZZLE. PATH TO PALMY again ran outwards on the bend checking FRIZZLE FRAZZLE who dropped to the rear. |
| Race 6 | Johnny Midnight @ Stud Sprint - C1 - 318 | KANGA WHIZ was slow from the inside. KINETIC RIO ran outwards in the early stages checking NAUGHTY COURTY for a stride with SAMSON DASH and LOCKLINNE both being inconvenienced in behind and settling at the rear. NAUGHTY COURTY then angled inwards into the bend causing tightening to KINETIC RIO as her sister CHASING SHADOWS ran outwards. LOCKLINNE was forced wide around these runners and lost ground. |
| Race 7 | $50K Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527 | MR. LOCHLYN was the last to jump from the outside. FIRESIDE BLAZE ran inwards in the early stages tightening PINT STAR who lost ground. |
| Race 8 | Thornton Auctions Auckland Derby Final - R/Af - 527 | LOCHINVAR VALERO and CASH KNOCKA were the slowest to jump. THRILLING HAVOC checked off runners into the first bend coming together with the favourite BIGTIME KINVARA. This runner was then tightened in the run down the back straight as ALABASTER crossed to the rail. BIGTIME KINVARA dropped out to run last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. LOCHINVAR LAREDO was also examined post race with a split webbing detected and a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 9 | Reel-Fishin.com Stakes - C1/2 - 527 | THRILLING CHARGE was the last to jump. The pacemaking BON VOGUE ran outwards into the first bend and remained wide on the track thereafter. OPAWA JOHNNY angled outwards into the first bend checking THRILLING PUNCH for a stride. TATA SAFARI covered extra ground on the home turn when challenging for the lead losing ground in the process. |
| Race 10 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C5 - 318 | GURU GOOSE and SNICKO were the last to jump. GURU GOOSE ran inwards into the bend checking FLYING FLYNN who lost ground. Soon after AIN'T NO SAINT and BRIGHT STAR came together for a stride. |
| Race 11 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C3/4 - 527 | HUSTLER and LOCHINVAR VICINI were the last to jump. MONSHIRAZ was checked in the early stages as LEKTRA FANTASY ran outwards slightly. LEKTRA FANTASY and MONSHIRAZ came together on the first bend with LEKTRA FANTASY then checking outwards and contacting HUSTLER for a stride. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C3 - 318 | PERCENTAGE MAN and JOLOKIA were the last to leave the traps. HOT LASS was checked from behind by BEARLY POSSIBLE with HOT LASS losing three lengths. She did well to recover to be narrowly beaten. BAD STATE, DECLARATION and AUSTIN WILD were all inconvenienced in this incident. |
