| Race 1 | Ritchies Coachlines Maiden Stakes - C0 - 520 | Line Honours and Know Honour were slow to begin. Shortly after the start Know Taste and Homebush Greta bumped and then Botany Vixen shifted ground inwards and checked Know Taste. Racing into the first bend Botany Vixen shifted wider forcing Know Honour wider. |
| Race 2 | Moore Architecture Ltd Dash - C0 - 295 | Just Kristy was decleared fit to start after inspection from the club veterinarian after sustaining a cut to an ear in the kennel block. Yaldhust Edward was very slow to begin. In the run to the first bend Fulla Torque shifted down the track making firm contact with Gus The Muss ,trailing runners Nitro Mabel and Top Player were hampered and lost ground.Yaldhust Edward and Guss The Muss both fell at the lure and were checked by the club veterinarian with no abnormalities found. |
| Race 3 | Braided River Restaurant & Bar Stakes - C2 - 520 | Fear Go and Cawbourne Heidi were both slow to begin . Into the first bend Fear Go checked out off the heels of Black Emily and made firm contact with Cawboune Heidi and Opawa Bomb with both these runners being forced wider on the track. |
| Race 4 | Methven Panel & Paint Ltd Sprint - C1 - 295 | Drive Five was slow to begin . Evidence Locker and James Arthur came together and bumped shortly after the start .Into the first bend Wazza Freebie shifted down track and hampered James Arthur which checked back onto Evidence Locker with both runners losing momentum.Syrips Girl shifted outwards in the straight and hampered Wazza Freebie.Evidence Locker underwent a post race veterinary inspection which revealed this runner to have lost a left hind outside toe nail with a 14 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 5 | Leonard Brannan Hart Memorial - C1 - 520 | Ohoka Sandy was very slow to begin losing all chance . Know Chaos checked off the heels of Know Class when racing into the first bend, shifting wider on the track and losing momentum. |
| Race 6 | Wal Walsh Memorial - C2 - 295 | Finger Pop ran outwards shortly after the start and made firm contact with Decado which resulted in Homebush Colt being checked . Rounding the first bend Gotta Find Bubba shifted off the rail and hampered Phaedras First which was then further hampered by the trailing Zed Kay Man . Zed Kay Man fell heavily in this incident ,a post race veterinary inspection revealed no obvious abnormalities. |
| Race 7 | Christchurch Demolition & Salvage Stakes - C3 - 520 | Crixus and Know Revenge were squeezed and checked between runners shortly after the start. |
| Race 8 | Placemakers Ashburton Sprint - C3 - 295 | Rounding the bend Bennys Angel shifted outwards and forced Got The Juice over extra ground. |
| Race 9 | Connie Smallridge Memorial Ashburton Cup - C5 - 520 | Emily Baxter,Magic Lass, Admire and Mamaja were all unbalanced when coming together shortly after the start. Emily Baxter was further hampered when Know Peace shifted down the track into the first bend , Mamaja checked off the heels of Emily Baxter in this incident. Down the back straight Emily Baxter was checked and lost further ground when Badja Bale shifted down to rail. |
| Race 10 | South Rakaia Hotel Dash - C4 - 295 | Zebidiah was crowded when Excuse Please and Homebush Boris came together shortly after the start. Zebidiah was further hampered rounding the bend when Anytime Will Do shifted down towards the rail. |
| Race 11 | Simply Pet Foods Stakes - C4 - 520 | Into the first bend Red Label Penny shifted inwards checking Tricky Harry, Tricky Harry was further hampered when coming together with Mixed Grill which lost ground as a result . Basilio Bale and Houston were forced over extra ground rounding the first bend. |
| Race 12 | J.H. Cleary "How's It Going" Memorial - C5 - 295 | Cawbourne Moff was slow early. Cool Charmer was hampered between Pretty Good and Nippa Mary when rounding the first bend. |
