Judicial report: Starter Paul Scott was reminded of his obligations under Rule 72.9. Trainer Rosemary Blackburn was questioned in regards to the retrieval of her dog in Race 6. Her explanation was accepted on this occasion but she was given a first and final warning under Rule 71.2 and informed that in future she must make arrangements to prevent the situation reoccuring.

Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW FUTURE and OPAWA RAPID were slow to jump. OHOKA ASHLEY lost ground in the early stages when running outwards and coming together with OSCAR TUIVASA.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Janine Jopson Dash - C0 - 295	FAT SALLY was the last to jump. VALENTINES DAY stayed wide in the early stages inconveniencing KATE ROSE for some distance. NITRO MABEL angled outwards on the bend causing a slight check to the favourite HOMEBUSH GRETA who lost some momentum as a result. FAT SALLY was found to have a sprained hock with a 21 day stand down recommended.
Race 3	Stock Xchange Bar & Cafe Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA ZAC, KNOW TASTE and KNOW HONOUR all missed the jump. In the early stages KNOW TASTE ran inwards checking OPAWA ZAC who dropped to the rear.
Race 4	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH INDIA was checked to the rear soon after the jump. OHOKA HART and EMMA ROSE came together into the bend and lost ground. Wider out UPSALA JEWEL received a check and stumbled for a stride dropping to a rearward position. A post race veterinary check of UPSALA JEWEL revealed a painful wrist with a fourteen day stand down recommended.
Race 5	Murray @ Ray White Ph.3715005 Dash - C1 - 295	SYRIPS GIRL ran outwards in the early stages checking BOTANY NANA and SUMMERLAND KING who settled at the rear. FUR PATROL ran outwards sharply in the back straight checking BOTANY NANA and HAMPDEN SPIRIT. On the home turn HAMPDEN SPIRIT angled inwards checking FUR PATROL who lost ground and dropped to the rear.
Race 6	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C0 - 295	CAPUA and ARCHIES TOKEN were the last to jump. BUTTER FLYER ran inwards at the jump coming together with HOMEBUSH CRUZ and losing ground. YALDHURST EDWARD and REDIAL jostled for some distance in the back straight. Into the turn REDIAL ran outwards pushing YALDHURST EDWARD and ARCHIES TOKEN over extra ground. Soon after BUTTER FLYER checked off the back of YALDHURST EDWARD and dropped out. A post race veterinary check of BUTTER FLYER revealed no injury.
Race 7	Flair Stakes - C1 - 520	AXEL GRINDER and BABY JAMES were slow to jump. SILVIA SUE was tightened into the first bend and lost ground. Shortly after KNOW CLASS angled downwards and checked KOMBUCHA who lost ground. BABY JAMES dropped right out finishing a long last with a post race veterinary check revealing a badly sprained wrist with a 21 day stand down recommended.
Race 8	Business Time At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295	JAMES ARTHUR, DRIVE FIVE and LADY IN SHADES were the slowest into stride. JAMES ARTHUR was then tightened soon after losing more ground. On the home turn OPAWA PRINCE angled inwards again checking JAMES ARTHUR who lost more ground. Deane Stapleton the Trainer of the winner NAEVIA was questioned in regards to the improved performance of his bitch. He replied that she has been plagued by bad draws but an inside box was to her advantage today.
Race 9	Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW CHAOS was last to jump from the outside. OHOKA SANDY and OPAWA CHARLIE came together in the early stages and dropped to the rear. Into the first bend OPAWA CHARLIE ran outwards checking HOMEBUSH BAD BOY and KNOW CHAOS. HOMEBUSH BAD BOY then angled inwards badly checking OHOKA SANDY who lost a few lengths.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	WAZZA FREEBIE was the last to jump. SITE AN EXCUSE ducked outwards checking OPAWA SACHA for a stride at the jump. PENNY BLUE SOX angled inwards into the bend tightening OPAWA SACHA, SITE AN EXCUSE and TEPIRITA ALI who all lost ground. An improving favourite WAZZA FREEBIE then made contact with OPAWA SACHA and lost momentum.
Race 11	Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA BOMB and FEAR GO were slow from the traps. Into the first bend FEAR GO ran wide covering extra ground.
Race 12	Snafu Bar & Restaurant Sprint - C1 - 295	MAXIS MATE was the last to jump. MIGHTY MONICA ran inwards soon after the jump checking BOTANY COMET for a stride.
