Weather: Showery
Track: Heavy The track after heavy rain was slushy at the start of the programe, cut up in one area after some races .Remedial work carried out no problem there after All other equipment in good working order.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: The meeting was put back one race after race 4 when there were concerns with an area off the track across the top bend where it had cut out in places.
There had been torrential rain during the previous 24 hours in the district with the track being initially slushy
The Stewards Track curator & committee Trainer P Freeman inspected the area's of concern and after some discussion the curator carried out some remedial work which was sucssesfull with the rest of the meeting going ahead ahead .The Stewards reviewed the track over the next couple of races with no further problems through out the rest of the programe
BORDER CONTROL was stood down race 5 Rule 80.1b for failing to pursue 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial

Race 1 Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305 INTENSE ZOOM was slow away by a couple of lengths . ITS A DOLL was handy in the early rush went back when tightened slightly was then checked as LITTLE LEGS went past her . ITS A DOLL went back to the rear never improved there after.
Race 2 Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 Racing in to the first turn there was pressure and tighting as GUNS ON FIRE came across on to GUNNA PARTY YALDHURST EDWARD and HOMEBUSH JULIE
Race 3 Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 520 From the boxes there was bumping between LIZZYLICIOUS EXCITED ROYALE and BABY JAMES for a stride or so . Racing in to the first turn LIZZYLICIOUS ran on to the heels of BOTANY VIXEN checked back ran outwards sharply in to EXCITED ROYALE BABY JAMES LITTLE BITTY GAL and SUMMER HAKA LIZZYLICIOUS was examined by the vet on returning to the kennel block and was found to have suffered a dislocated toe right hind with a 21 day stand down recommended. BABY JAMES was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found.
Race 4 Crombie Lockwood C0 - C0 - 305 Racing in to the top bend ELLO ELLE was tightened between HOMEBUSH CRUZ and then SISAL who were both making ground SISAL crossed to the rail causing ELLO ELLE to be checked and went back to the rear finishing several lengths last at the line ELLO ELLE was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 5 Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305 After race 4 there was some concern for an area of on the top bend The Stewards Track Officals and Trainer P Freeman assessed the area and could see that some remedial work should be carried out before further racing there had been extensive rain on the track in the previous 24 hours. The programme was put back one race. Remedial work was carried out with the race going ahead with out any problems. The track was reassed through out the day with no other problems BORDER CONTROL (fav) missed the start by a length or so raced up to to co lead with CHASING SHADOWS with BORDER CONTROL coming out on to CHASING SHADOWS pushing her wide on the top bend . BORDER CONTROL turned his head towards CHASING SHADOWS for several strides running in the top of the home straight . The Stewards reviewed the running of BORDER CONTROL at this point and it was unclear as to a marring occuring however it was clear that BORDER CONTROL had stopped pursuing the lure for some distance towards the home straight . BORDER CONTROL was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found. A charge of non pursuit was laid against BORDER CONTROL with the kennel rep admitting to the charge BORDER CONTROL was stood down for 28 days and a satisfactory trial/s (refer judicial ) CARELESS TALK was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found. The Stewards also reviewed the run down the home straight where it seemed that CARELESS TALK may have turned her head on BORDER CONTROL for a stride After extensive review of the film it was clear that CARELESS TALK and BORDER CONTROL came together with BORDER CONTROL laying in on the other runner ,the film was inconclusive as to any action by CARELESS TALK .no further action was warranted.
Race 6 GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 305 Soon after the start THUNDERING JET ran outwards on to BELLA SIENNA HOMEBUSH DIGBY and LEOS GIRL all these runners were severly tightened and checked losing a couple of lengths KENETIC FLYER also was checked in this incident . Racing on to the top bend RIBA LORD raced across towards the rail causing LEOS GIRL to be checked and go back several times .
Race 7 Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 Racing in to the first turn KINETIC NEO was tightened making contact with the rail ANOTHER JAKUP in behind ran in to the back of KINETIC RIO going back several lengths KINETIC NEO was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8 Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305 KINETIC RIO ( fav )was slowest away losing a length or so . Racing in to the first bend GREYWINDS KOBY was checked back to the rear as THRILLING CLOUD raced through in to the body of the field . MIRAGE ROYALE raced wide through out the journey.
Race 9 Gary Ross Decorator C1 Final - C1f - 305 From the boxes RUN ALAN ducked in across the heels of ATE PIZZA. Racing down to the first turn ATE PIZZA raced across severly tightning IONA HAKA MS TOURNAMENTAL and LAVENDER SAL MS TOURNAMENTAL recovered well to finish in 3rd placing at the line .
Race 10 Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 Racing down to the first turn HOMEBUSH BAD BOY came in on ERICS SONG causing him to check back losing a couple of lengths a bit further on WHAT A MATE came across on to ERICS SONG for a few strides resulting in ERICS SONGS getting on the heels of WHAT A MATE and running out wide losing several lengths and was not able to get back in to contention from there on in PETROL VOUCHER was a late scratching earlier in the day when found to be suffering from diohrrea
Race 11 Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 LUCYLICIOUS was slowest away was tightened when attempting to make ground going back towards the rear just ahead of this HOMEBUSH JONTY was checked back several lengths back to the rear as LANSVALE SPARK made ground down towards the rail HOMEBUSH JONTY made up good ground there after to finish in a dead heat for 4th placing .
Race 12 The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305 The Stewards reviewed the start of this race after it was observed that there was some slight movment on the end of the lids on box one After reviewing the film it seemed apparent that GUNNA EXCITE may have been pushing against the lids and as a consequence was the slowest away The boxes will be throughly checked before the next meeting. THREE TOO MANY raced wide in to and around the top bend.
