| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295 | SING CILLA BLACK was tightened along the inside into the bend and lost ground dropping to the rear. |
| Race 2 | I Pave Concrete Dash - C4 - 295 | CAWBOURNE TANK, PRAIRIE PUZZLE and WEONA DARLING were the last to jump. MUSTARD FUDGE wanted to run outwards in the back straight and into the bend inconveniencing PRAIRIE PUZZLE with that runner being forced over extra ground. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295 | DYNAMIK SPIRIT, JOHNNIE GEORGE and HOMEBUSH SARINA were the slowest into stride. GOT THE JUICE checked off the back of WANDY LUCK into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 4 | Coaster's Tavern Sprint - C4 - 295 | NERD CORNER, LOTSA STYLE and CAWBOURNE FELIX were the last to jump. OBSESSED made contact with ANOTHER GON for a stride soon after the jump. In the run down the back straight WEE PING DOLL and OBSESSED came together losing momentum. WEE PING DOLL then checked outwards off the back of OBSESSED and pushed ICEBERG RAPPER wider with both dogs losing ground. |
| Race 5 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C3/4 - 520 | STILL HELINA and MISS IRON FIRST dropped to the rear soon after the jump. OPAWA STYLE was tightened in the early stages and lost ground. She then checked off the back of RED LABEL PENNY and dropped to the rear. STILL HELINA checked off the back of MISS IRON FIST into the bend and lost ground. SOSAN dropped out in the run home to run last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 6 | Jet Pets Sprint - C5 - 295 | WANDY CHICK was the last to jump. STARBURST SUZIE was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. PRETTY GOOD checked off NIPPA MARY into the bend and ran outwards slightly pushing KYANN and DA BOSS wider around that bend. |
| Race 7 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C5 - 520 | GEOFF THE REF was a clear last on jumping. EMILY BAXTER ran outwards in the early stages checking ANOTHER BREEZE, CYNTHIA BAXTER and GONE AWOL who all lost ground. ANOTHER BREEZE checked off the back of AWESOME BENDER into the first bend and lost ground. |
| Race 8 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C5 - 295 | KNOW TRUST was last to jump from the outside. REAL CLEVER angled outwards in the early stages keeping DIXIE LEE and HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN wide for a few strides. FOUR BY TWO angled outwards into the bend inconveniencing FREDDIE BAXTER and SEA SPRAY TICH. On the home turn FREDDIE BAXTER ran outwards slightly checking his kennelmate HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN for a stride. |
| Race 9 | Flair Maiden Distance - C0d - 645 | GRIDIRON was the last to jump. ARCHIES JET ran inwards soon after the jump badly checking GRIDIRON who lost more ground settling a clear last. On the home turn GRIDIRON ran right off the track finishing on the harness track. A post race veterinary check revealed cramp in a gracilis muscle with no stand down recommended. Trainer Ashley Bradshaw was questioned in regards to the run of GRIDIRON. After considering her submissions it was agreed that the dog would not be nominated for another distance race until he had completed a distance trial to the satisfaction of Stewards. |
| Race 10 | The Miller Bar & Cafe Distance Feature - C1d - 645 | CROSSFIRE MAX was the last to jump and then ran wide around the bend losing ground. GLYNIS BALE angled outwards into the first bend and checked OPAWA PEEKAY for a stride with that runner losing some momentum. THRILLING SOUND received a slight check at the end of the back straight. |
| Race 11 | christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295 | ADINI was a shade slow from the middle of the field. OUR BEOWULF angled outwards in the back straight with FIREMANS ESCORT, ADINI and CAWBOURNE LEVI all being inconvenienced and losing ground. OUR BEOWULF continued his outwards movement into the bend pushing CALLAHAN outwards on to TOM FINN with these two runners losing a few lengths. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 | CAWBOURNE DUSTY and WANDY BOILER were the last to jump. WHERES JOHN CEE angled outwards soon after the jump checking CAWBOURNE DUSTY for a stride. Soon after KNOX ran outwards checking EXCUSE PLEASE and CAWBOURNE EMO who then contacted the back end of ANOTHER HIT who lost ground. |
