Track: Good The track was presented in good order although very slushy on top.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: BERELLA CHELSEA who was a late scratching and received a 14 day stand down at Wanganui on 25.06.2012 was re presented for a Veterinary examination under the provisions of Rule 82.5 and the original stand down was rescinded and replaced with a three day stand down expiring on 27.05.12.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	LOUIELICIOUS and RAVEON began awkwardly losing ground and settled well back. LIBBYLICIOUS and MISS MOET both ran wide into the bend covering extra ground and finished well back.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	NICKY HAKA and KEZZ came together and jostled for several strides soon after the start and settled back in the field. KEZZ recovered from the bumping and finished very well to deadheat for 1st placing. BREAKING MELODY raced wide on the bend and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 3	GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375	FLASH THAT and KINETIC FLYER were slow to begin losing two lengths. SAUCY TOMATO checked off the heels of LINDOP on the bend and shifted out to collide with HUSKY HAKA and they both lost ground and ran wide on the bend and into the straight.
Race 4	Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C1 - C1 - 375	BOND ECLIPSE was the slowest to begin but then secured a trouble free run to go on and win the race. LEADFOOT LENNY shifted in going into the bend and inconvenienced BIGTIME BENDER and OPEHU TIGER who both lost momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 375	DOUBLE TAPP, LOOKS DECIEVING and HOMEBUSH KELLY jostled together soon after the start losing ground and settling well back. WATERBUG and JUKE BOX BOY shared the lead going to the first corner but jostled together for several strides and JUKE BOX BOY then eased and went back to the rear and finished in 2nd last place. JUKE BOX BOY was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury and is required to complete a satisfactory trail.
Race 6	www.racingdogs.co.nz C1 - C1 - 457	REALON RENEGADE and SMOOCHA were slow to begin but recovered to finish in 1st and 3rd places. VIOHLAY and HAIR SHE IS bumped together and ran wide going to the first corner and lost ground.
Race 7	Foxton Dash C2 - C2 - 375	THRILLING NEWS was checked losing ground on the bend and he then ran wide covering extra ground entering the straight and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	Cloverlea Dash C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	TRENDY KNOCKAS, MY GIRL MARINA and TILT YOUR GLASS were slow to begin losing two lengths. TILT YOUR GLASS recovered best of the three and finished in 2nd place.
Race 9	Manawatu Raceway Sprint C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	PARRA SPARRA and HOMEBUSH LACEY were slow to begin losing two lengths but they made up ground to finish in 2nd and 4th places. BACK AT YA was handy in 2nd place on the first corner but drifted from there and finished several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus muscle injury.
Race 10	Marton Dash C4 - C4 - 375	HOMEBUSH SCOTTY, EMMA MARIE and OUR PLAYBOY were checked going into the bend losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 11	Feilding Dash C5 - C5 - 375	SEMENYA and TALEEDY TROOPER were checked back to the rear going into the bend .
Race 12	Shannon Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	SHODSIE and SMASH BANG WIN were slow to begin losing three lengths. TRINITY BOY was handy going into the bend but was checked losing three lengths but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
