Judicial report: Trainer Rosemary Blackburn contacted Stewards and reported that all of her dogs tested for giardia last week had returned negative results.

| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295 | GOT THE JUICE ran inwards tightening HOMEBUSH DOMINO and EXCITING KYLE who lost ground. Closer in OUT BY FIVE and WANDY HALLEE also received some tightening and settled well back. Into the bend OUT BY FIVE and EXCITING KYLE came together when at the rear. |
| Race 2 | Ciburb Bar Sprint - C2 - 295 | AUSSIE HAKA was the last to jump. Into the bend SEISMIC STORM clipped the rail when racing at the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. AUSSIE HAKA ran outwards into the bend with OKUKU BOBO being forced wider at this point. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295 | LOTSA STYLE was a clear last on jumping with HOMEBUSH BORIS also settling well back. Into the bend LETS DEBATE checked outwards forcing ELITE PALACE and LOTSA STYLE over extra ground with these three runners losing their chances. |
| Race 4 | Jet Pets Sprint - C2 - 295 | CAWBOURNE HARVEY was a shade slow from the inside. On the bend OLD MATE DAVE received some tightening and lost ground. |
| Race 5 | christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C2 - 520 | SONIC DUFFER was the last to jump. In the early stages SONIC DUFFER ran outwards making solid contact with EMIE ROSE. SONIC DUFFER checked off the back of JUST TEASING and FLYING REBEL into the first bend and lost momentum. Handler Steve Hurd was questioned in regards to neglecting to catch the winner. His explanation was accepted by Stewards on this occasion but he was reminded of his obligations in the future. |
| Race 6 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C4 - 295 | OKUKU OLLIE checked off the back of CAWBOURNE TOBES into the bend and dropped to the rear. ANOTHER RAEWYN was also briefly inconvenienced at this stage. |
| Race 7 | Flair Sprint - C5 - 295 | UNO HARRIET, HOMEBUSH SARGE and CAWBOURNE MOFF were all a shade slow to begin. Into the bend FIREMANS ESCORT angled inwards causing minor checks to HOMEBUSH SARGE and UNO HARRIET who lost momentum. |
| Race 8 | Little Brown Jug Stakes - C3 - 520 | SHOULD BE CARLOS and LAGOON BEACH BOY were the slowest from the outside. In the early stages HOMEBUSH IRIS ran inwards tightening TRICKY HARRY and THRILLING SADIE who lost ground. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH WILD checked outwards off THRILLING SADIE and ran wide. On the home turn THRILLING SADIE ran inwards slightly coming together with RED LABEL PENNY and lost some momentum. |
| Race 9 | I Pave Concrete Dash - C5 - 295 | CAWBOURNE LEVI and WHAT A PEANUT came together on two occasions in the run to the home turn when well back. |
| Race 10 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | RINGOS COLT was last on settling. CYNTHIA BAXTER was badly tightened in between SAM I AM and MAINLAND STAR in the run to the first bend and was relegated to the rear where she remained. |
| Race 11 | Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C5 - 295 | JED NORTON was the last on settling. HOMEBUSH EDITH ran inwards in the early stages pushing FREDDIE BAXTER down on to PRETTY GOOD with FREDDIE BAXTER being badly tightened and losing ground. Into the bend HOMEBUSH EDITH was checked with FREDDIE BAXTER, KINGA MIKE and ANOTHER LEGIN all being inconvenienced. On the home turn FREDDIE BAXTER checked outwards off HOMEBUSH EDITH and into the path of KINGA MIKE who was badly checked and lost his chance. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 | CHEETAH WOODS was the last to jump. RENNERS GIFT and ANOTHER BLEND came together in the back straight. ANOTHER MATE was forced wide by RENNERS MATE into the bend and lost ground. |
