| Race 1 | Keyosk Service Bar Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | The favourite WANDY DYLAN was very slow to jump. REDIAL ran inwards soon after the jump tightening PUKEKO FLYER and RUBYS GIRL. Allan Joyce the co-trainer of the winner WHAT A DUMP was questioned in regards to the improved performance of this bitch. He stated that after disappointing runs in March it was decided to spell her and put some weight on her before resuming. It is also the intention to race away from the Addington track as she has not gone well there in the past. |
| Race 2 | Roofing Solutions Stakes - C0 - 545 | NOGGIN and OPAWA MIATA were the last to jump. AUTUMN SPIRIT was keen to get to the outside in the early stages coming together with OPAWA MIATA and SECRET NICOLE with OPAWA MIATA being dragged down for a stride and losing ground. On the home turn AUTUMN SPIRIT and OPAWA MIATA again came together for a stride when racing at the rear. Handler Josh Lane when questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner OPAWA BLAZE said that this was the first occasion that the dog had drawn towards the inside and that an empty box inside him gave him the room he needed to make a good beginning. |
| Race 3 | Homebush Hounds Sprint - C1 - 310 | The favourite JAMES ARTHUR was a clear last on jumping. He then improved quickly along the rail but was badly checked as TIE MY TIE crossed inwards losing ground. HARES HOPING also lost momentum at that stage. SWIP TASTIC ran inwards in the early stages tightening BOTANY NANA, HIT THE LIP and SENSITIVE LAND with these runners losing ground. HIT THE LIP and SWIP TASTIC came together and lost ground into the bend when well back. |

| Race 5 | Roofing Solutions Sprint - C1 - 310 | HAZZAS LAD ran inwards soon after the jump tightening NEW YORK AFFAIR and REAL SLIM SHADY who settled at the rear. HAZZAS LAD ran outwards into the bend coming together with ANOTHER STAR who lost momentum. |
| Race 6 | Speedprint Shop Sprint - C2 - 310 | This race was delayed by two minutes due to communication problems with Raceday Control. ACHEW ACHEW ran outwards in the early stages causing some minor inconvenience to CAWBOURNE HARVEY and DECADO. On the home turn OKUKU WEE MAN angled outwards checking OLD MATE DAVE who lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C2 - 545 | The winner ARCHIES JET was the last to jump. BLACK EMILY checked off the back of FLYING REBEL on the home turn losing momentum. Andy McCook the co-trainer of the winner ARCHIES JET was questioned in regards to ARCHIES JET's improved performance. He informed Stewards that the dog has had niggling injuries and thus has been sparingly raced but is currently free of those injuries and today was racing at his favourite track. He added that the dogs previous races have been in far stronger company and appreciated the drop in class. |
| Race 8 | New Zealand Racing Series Heat 1 - NZRSq - 545 Heat 1 | MORIARTY was the last to jump. He ran on well for third. KNOW PERIL and WALK DA TORQUE raced in restricted quarters in the early stages. On the first bend WALK DA TORQUE checked outwards off FELIXSTOWE and pushed an improving MORIARTY wider around that bend. The favourite GEOFF THE REF dropped out over the concluding stages finishing a disappointing sixth with a post race veterinary check revealing shoulder pain with a five day stand down recommended. |
| Race 9 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C3 - 310 | MEMPHIS HOTCAKES and ALWAYS A STORY were the last to jump. RAISINS ran inwards in the run down the back straight causing some tightening to RED LABEL PENNY, WANDY BOILER and ANOTHER RAEWYN. Soon after LETS DEBATE angled outwards and came together with ANOTHER RAEWYN with these runners dropping to the rear. |
| Race 10 | New Zealand Racing Series Heat 2 - NZRSq - 545 Heat 2 | HOMEBUSH WILD was the last into stride. JONNY JET angled inwards at the jump tightening KNOW REVENGE who was relegated to the rear. SIXTY TWENTY was tightened into the first bend and then ran wide losing ground. On that bend MAXIMUM JEWEL and KNOW REVENGE came together for a stride settling well back. These two dogs again came together in the run home when well back. |
| Race 11 | New Zealand Racing Series Heat 3 - NZRSq - 545 Heat 3 | THRILLING JONAH checked outwards off RUN RILEY RUN into the first bend and lost ground. |
| Race 12 | Norwood Farm Machinery Dash - C5 - 310 | DYNA DIEGO and KNOW ESCAPE were the slowest from the traps. KNOW ESCAPE was improving quickly on the home turn when he ran out of room and angled inwards coming together with JUMPIN JULIA on his inside. This caused these two runners to tangle and run outwards into the path of OUR BEOWULF was was badly checked with all three runners losing their chances. A post race veterinary check of OUR BEOWULF revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 13 | Racing Again Next Tuesday 22nd May Sprint - C4 - 310 | HAMPDEN JACK was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. CAWBOURNE COOKIE angled outwards into the bend causing JENNINGS, CAWBOURNE DUSTY and CAWBOURNE TOBES all to be checked and lose ground. HAMPDEN JACK was forced wide around these dogs to avoid this incident. CAWBOURNE COOKIE was checked and lost a length on the bend as OPAWA JACK crossed to the rail. Following the race CAWBOURNE DUSTY was found to have sustained a cut paw with a ten day stand down recommended. |
