Track: Good The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Judicial report: Due to a malfunction, there was no time taken in heat one of the N.Z Futurity and as a result the four 3rd placegetters were placed in a hat and two were drawn out as the reserves for the final.

Race 1	Cafe Cibo - Upper Hutt C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	BLAIR NINETY galloped on the heels of NELLY FLAHERTY for several strides on the first corner and dropped back onto the line of BOTANY NANA with both dogs losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear. BLAIR NINETY was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with pain in deltoid and bicep muscles and a hock.
Race 2	Cafe Cibo - Upper hutt C1 Ht2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH JEM shifted in going to the first corner and forced PATH TO PALMY in onto ANOTHER STAR who was checked back to the rear. HOMEBUSH JEM and PATH TO PALMY continued to jostle together for several strides with both losing ground and they finished well back.
Race 3	Glovecraft - Upper Hutt C3 - C3 - 520	BOTANY ANN, SHODSIE, LOTTO RASPBERRY and KANGO KLINK were all checked and lost ground on the first corner. KANGO KLINK recovered quickly and finished in 3rd place but the other three affected runners stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 4	Allied Engineering - Upper Hutt C3 - C3 - 305	SHALF was slow to begin losing three lengths. GURU GOOSE shifted in going to the first corner and crowded THRILLING LYRIC and ASTONISHING who both lost a little momentum. HOMEBUSH HAYLEY brushed lightly against the rail going into the bend and she lost three lengths.
Race 5	Lighthouse Cafe - Upper Hutt C2 - C2 - 305	RUN A BATH shifted in from the start and bumped BINTY FLAHERTY onto BIGTIME ALLGO with all three dogs losing ground.
Race 6	B & P Engineering - Upper Hutt C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	One of the favourites REALON ROSE was a little slow to begin and she was then checked on the first corner losing further ground and finished in 6th place. WOT PRICE AGRO shifted in and made firm contact with the rail on the first corner , bounced off then checked THRILLING ANNIE with both losing ground. WOT PRICE AGRO was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with gracilus muscle pain.
Race 7	The Brownzy Sports Bar North Shore NZ Futurity R/A Ht1 (Group 2) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	GLYNIS BALE was checked going to the first corner and went back to the rear. ANOTHER BREEZE shifted in at the end of the back straight forcing INISHRUSH onto COOKED THE BOOK who struck the rail and fell. COOKED THE BOOK suffered a fractured leg and was euthanased. INISHRUSH marred the running of ANOTHER BREEZE for several strides in the home straight and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 a and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 8	The Brownzy Sports Bar North Shore NZ Futurity R/A Ht2 Group 2) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	THRILLING HAVOC shifted out from the start and caused checks to DARLEK KHAN, MAXIMUM JEWEL and CORBY who all lost ground. THRILLING HAVOC then shifted in on the first corner and forced KNOW PEACE in onto the rail and KNOW PEACE then came out and DARLEK KHAN and CORBY were checked and lost ground. KNOW PEACE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 9	The Brownzy Sports Bar North Shore NZ Futurity R/A Ht3 (Group 2) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3	LEKTRA FANTASY shifted out soon after the start and checked DARLYNE OTTEY who was turned sideways and CAWBOURNE SMUDGE who also lost ground. DARLYNE OTTEY then shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to BASILIO BALE and MISS IRON FIST who both lost ground and settled well back. LEKTRA FANTASY and CAWBOURNE SMUDGE collided when racing at the rear on the final bend.
Race 10	The Brownzy Sports Bar North Shore NZ Futurity R/A Ht 4 (Group 2) - R/Aq - 520 Heat 4	JINJAWINJA drew box 8 and was the slowest to begin but shifted down to the rail and after gaining a clear run through, she went on to win the race. COMPLICIT and BIGTIME KINVARA led to the first bend but jostled together for several strides losing some momentum. BIGTIME KINVARA recovered to finish in 2nd place. BULET TOOTH TONY and LOUIE MACHALL bumped together going into the first bend and ran wide.
Race 11	Anglo Upholsterers Premier Sprint C5 Ht1 - C5q - 305 Heat 1	BOUND BY PRIDE and FLAG THE BANK were slow to begin losing two lengths. STIFF and STATELY BABE bumped together going into the bend and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. CIAO FOR NOW drew box 8 and raced wide throughout covering extra ground.
Race 12	Anglo Upholsterers Premier Sprint C5 Ht2 - C5q - 305 Heat 2	DYNA DIEGO was checked when the start was made losing ground but he recovered to finish in 3rd place. IMA SPICE and FLYING FLYNN bumped together and lost ground on the first corner and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
