Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: BUTTER FLYER (D Stapleton) and LEGEND BEE (D Roberts) both completed satisfactory trials as required by Rule 80. All of trainer Rosemary Blackburn's dogs were late scratched when found to be suffering from diarrhoea. Mrs Blackburn advised Stewards that all of the dogs were healthy when they left home. She further advised that all dogs in her kennel have been or would be treated in the coming days.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	MIGHTY FORTUNE and HOMEBUSH NESTOR came together for a stride soon after the jump. Into the bend BELFAST GLENDA angled wide pushing OUR REBEL GIRL over extra ground. On the home turn BELFAST GLENDA checked outwards sharply off the back of OUR REBEL GIRL and lost ground.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Malcolm Grant Dash - C0 - 295	SUMMER HAKA and ARCHIES DOLL were the slowest from the traps. GEORGIE WONG ran outwards in the early stages coming together with SUMMER HAKA. ARCHIES DOLL made solid contact with the rail at the end of the back straight and lost ground. Into the bend MIGHTY MONICA was tightened along the inside running and ran outwards causing checks to GEORGIE WONG, SUMMER HAKA and TOP PLAYER all of whom had their chances extinguished. A post race veterinary check of ARCHIES DOLL revealed a slight hock strain with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 3	Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA PATCH was the last to jump. FUR PATROL ran outwards in the early stages with RITE ROUND RANGE, IMA SINGER and OPAWA CRUSHER all receiving some tightening. IMA SINGER dropped away to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 4	Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Dash - C0 - 295	GIRLY HAKA was hard to box in this event and then turned in the boxes taking no competitive part. This dog is required to complete a box trial before its next raceday start. CALM RITA was slow to jump. At the start DRIVE FIVE ran inwards sharply checking IONA HAKA, HOMEBUSH COLT and JUMPIN JALAPENO who all lost ground. Into the bend IONA HAKA was badly checked and came together with JUMPIN JALAPENO and HOMEBUSH COLT with these runners losing their chances.
Race 5	Harcourts Twiss Keir Realty Dash - C1 - 295	OHOKA SUMMER was the last to jump. BLONDE TORI, OKOTOKS and FANTA ALERT all came together for a stride soon after the jump with BLONDE TORI dropping to the rear. On the home turn CARELESS TALK ran outwards and then came together with FANTA ALERT and OHOKA SUMMER when all three dogs were at the rear.
Race 6	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C0 - 520	BABY JAMES and CHOOSE TO LOVE were the last to jump. CHOOSE TO LOVE ran inwards into the first bend tightening MUMS PRODIGY with KNOW HONOUR receiving a bad check and dropping to the rear. BABY JAMES was forced wide in this incident. OPAWA STU was tightened by CALM BROOKE at the end of the back straight and lost momentum. Following the race SECRET SARAH was found to have dislocated a toe with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 7	David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C1 - 295	GENIAL ran outwards in the back straight inconveniencing LADY IN SHADES and ULTIMATE SPICE with all three runners losing ground.
Race 8	Hampden Tavern Stakes Heat - C1q - 520 Heat 1	FROGGY NEWITT ran outwards in the early stages checking WYNDHAM, KNOW CLASS and KOMBUCHA with these runners losing ground. Following the race WYNDHAM was found to have a laceration in the dew claw area. No stand down was deemed necessary but strapping will be required in its future racing.
Race 9	Flair Sprint - C2 - 295	SOCRATES was the last to jump. BELFAST SUZY ran outwards into the bend contacting FULLA PRIDE for a stride.
Race 10	Hampden Tavern Stakes Heat - C1q - 520 Heat 2	TAKE NO PRISONER ran outwards soon after the start tightening PIED WARRIOR, KNOW CHAOS and NITRO EXPRESS with these dogs losing ground. BLACK JAY was tightened at the end of the back straight dropping to the rear. Handler Andy McCook was questioned in regards to him not catching SILVIA SUE as arranged. After hearing his explanation no further action was deemed necessary other to remind him of his obligations in similar circumstances.
Race 11	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C1 - 295	OHOKA GERRY was the last to jump. RED CARPET and BIGTIME YAHOO came together in the early stages. Into the bend CAWBOURNE CASEY was tightened and dropped to the rear.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295	GENTLE HAND was tightened into the bend and lost ground with HOMEBUSH MAYHEM and TWISTER AL receiving checks and dropping to the rear.
