| Race 1 | Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C4 - 318 | In the run down to the first turn KEE and RIVETTE DECODED crossed and tightened FLYING FLYNN on to EMMA JAY, WINSOME ACHEIVER and CAWBOURNE MADZ with these runners all coming together for a couple of strides losing ground back to the rear WINSOME ACHEIVER and EMMA JAY raced wide in to the top bend when avoiding heels On the point of the top bend EMMA JAY changed ground outwards across the heels of WINSOME ACHEIVER ,,these two runners came together again as they made the home turn with WINSOME ACHEIVER becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides |
| Race 2 | May Maiden Series Heat 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 | THRILLING JINGLE (fav) was slow away and collided with MR LOCHLYN a couple of strides out of the boxes ,further in MR JACK MAGIC and CARUBA QUEEN came together Racing down to the first turn THRILLING JINGLE gained a run through the field towards the rail running in to TANBRYN as she went past ,THRILLING JINGLE made up good ground after being slow away ,she came to the end of her run half way down the home straight but hung on well for 3rd placing at the lne Racing across the top bend SMIDGED ran on to the heels of CARUBA QUEEN going back 5 or so lengths with both these runners being widest at that point MR LOCKLYN was racing greenly as the field made there way in to the home straight making contact with the rail losing several lengths MR LOCHLYN was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 3 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | The start of this race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of raceday control. Racing into the top bend KEZZ ran out onto ASTUTE WHIZ. Soon after ONLY KATE made contact with the heels of ART ATTACK becoming briefly unbalanced and lost several legnths. THRILLING CLOUD and ONLY KATE came together when racing into the final straight. |
| Race 4 | May Maiden Series Heat 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 2 | The start of this race was delayed 1 minute at the request of raceday control. VICKI'S QUEST took a flyer from the start leading throughout to hang on gamely to the line. Shortly after leaving the boxes FLYIN' SHIFTY shifted in making contact with ILA GLADYS and jostling for several strides resulting in ILA GLADYS been checked and losing ground. Further resulting in LICENCE TO CHILL getting on heels losing ground. BO WOO and ILA GLADYS were the widest two runners across the top bend and in the final straight. |
| Race 5 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2 | Shortly after leaving the boxes BIG LASS and THRILLING BLITZ came together making contact on several occasions resulting in BIG LASS losing ground checking WORLD CUP MISS and DIGGIN'ON YOU who had come together for several strides with both these runners losing considerable ground. PICNIC TIME raced wide throughout. |
| Race 6 | Carol's TABS Sprint - C3 - 318 | BEARLY POSSIBLE was vetted around at the start with concerns of possible dihorrea, no abnormalities were found and this dog was cleared fit to race. PERCENTAGE MAN began awkwardly. Shortly after STILL NO WIVES and PERCENTAGE MAN made contact tightening out COOL AND DRY. On entering the first bend STILL NO WIVES was checked when tightened for room making contact with PERCENTAGE MAN when BEARLY POSSIBLE shifted in in front of him. |
| Race 7 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C5 - 527 | FANCY TOBY dwelt at the start losing a couple of lengths HAVE A YAP (fav) raced in a handy position for most part of the race ,she received a slight knock from THRILLING BOSS on the home turn ,but did not show her customary pace today finishing in midfield at the line HAVE A YAP was sent for a vet check as a precaution where she was found to have suffered a right fore digit 5 split webbing ,and collateral ligiment damage with a 28 day stand down imposed |
| Race 8 | $15,000 Pick6 Sprint - C2 - 318 | MARTYN STREET went up with the lids losing 10 lengths ,soon after racing down to the first turn MARTYN STREET ran inwards colliding with the rail when attempting to make ground ,he recovered to get in to the field running on to beat one other runner to the line On the point of the top bend SPARTACUS came out and bumped JETSUN BELLE who ran out wider from there in to the home straight finishing in last placing at the line MARTYN STREET was sent for a vet check where he was found to have right superficial pectoral muscle injury with a 10 day stand down imposed |
| Race 9 | Thornton Auctions Stakes - C2 - 527 | BINGO STARR went up with the lids slightly losing a couple of lengths ,he soon got out wide as is customary for him racing that way throug out the race covering a lot of extra ground finishing towards the rear at the line Racing along the back straight CRAFTY GRAHAM was racing in a handy position ,PAMPEST came out on to CRAFTY GRAHAM causing him to stumble and almost stop in his tracks going back to the rear ,CRAFTY GRAHAM never recovered to get back in to contention from there on in CRAFTY GRAHAM was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 10 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C1 - 527 | KIKI RHODE lost her footing for a stride or two coming off the mat ,she soon recovered to race up in to a handy position running on strongest in the home straight to win THRILLING APRIL racing in a handy position down the straight was soon hampered slightly as TWIN RIVERS came across ,THRILLING APRIL went back several lengths towards the rear ,racing out the widest in to and down the home straight finishing in the last couple of runners at the line . |
| Race 11 | Auckland Vending Sprint - C5 - 318 | From the boxes MOON WARROWER raced straight across the face of the field causing tighning and checks to ONE TOUGH COOKIE, ASTON RED, CORPORAL JONES GLOW BELLE DOLL and GEMZ ,soon after further in GEMZ came out on to GLOW BELLE DOLLand DALLAS BEAUTY ,all these runners were hampered for several strides in this interference ,except CORPORAL JONES who skirted out wider to avoid trouble, once MOON WARROWER has cleared him to vie for the lead MOON WARROWER weakened in the run home CORPORAL JONES running on best wider out in the straight to win CORPORAL JONES ran on to the lure very hard at the pull up and was pushed over ending up upside down under the running rail ,he was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered superficial grazes with a 5 day stand down imposed |
| Race 12 | Magness Benrow Stakes - C3/4 - 527 | Racing in to the first turn SWIFT SWINGER in attempting to get out wider ran in to the shoulder of ASSEGAI causing him to be check off SWIFT SWINGERS heels twice in changing ground to clear this runner ,SWIFT SWINGER then ran out on to DECADENT with this runner being able to improve past this runner DIAMOND RAIDER after getting away well from the start was soon a clear leader through out ,stringing the feild out over a fair distance through out the running DIAMOND RAIDER ran out an easy winner |
| Race 13 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Heat 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 3 | HEZA SENSATION was slowest away by a couple of lengths , a couple of strides out of the boxes RANDO REASON raced across the face of MR MAJESTIC who was checked and stumbled losing a length or so , racing down to the first turn TEAM JACOB came out as RANDO REASON came in coming together for a couple of strides,RANDO REASON was checked and lost several lengths back towards the rear at this point ,MR MAJESTIC and TEN FOUR went wide in to and and around the top bend |
