| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | JACKIE SHIRAZ and DONKEY DEEP bumped together several times early in the race and settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH BUFFY clipped the heels of QUEEN MOTHER and lost ground running to the first corner. GINA MAC was handy going into the bend but drifted from there and finished in last place and she was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. P.Freeman the Handler of the winner QUEEN MOTHER was questioned regarding the much improved performance. He stated that the dog had been Trained in the northern area during its last campaign and was having its first start back from their kennels and had been working very well and an improved run was expected. |

| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK ELITE was slow to begin when he went up with the box lids. KANGO KLINK shifted in sharply from the start and checked MICK MANIA who lost ground. SEDGEBROOK ELITE shifted in on the first corner and MICK MANIA was again checked and went back to last. SMASH BANG WIN shifted in on the bend and collided with SEDGEBROOK ELITE and SMASH BANG WING went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | LOTTO RASPBERRY checked off the heels of TAILS OFF on the first bend losing several lengths and went back to near the rear and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C4 - C4 - 305 | HOMEBUSH SCOTTY shifted in on the first corner and caused checks to GROOVY BANDIT, THRILLING BUDDY and CHARLIE CLANG who all lost three lengths and they finished in the rear group. CAWBOURNE DARCY and BELFAST KING bumped together several times on the home turn and lost momentum. |
| Race 6 | GEON Wellington C4 - C4 - 305 | MEGA RUSH and GLENADDIS BOY came together and bumped going to the first corner. |
| Race 7 | Broad Roofing C4 - C4 - 305 | CAWBOURNE TINA shifted out slightly going into the first corner and TALEEDY TROOPER clipped its heels and fell. BERRIDALE BULLET was slightly affected in the incident and ODE TO LIBERTY was severely affected losing several lengths and all chance. TALEEDY TROOPER was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with minor grazing and bruising and ODE TO LIBERTY was also examined and stood down for 7 days with pectoral, supraspinatus, infraspinatus and fan muscle pain. |
| Race 8 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | RYBENBROOK JOSH shifted in from the start and caused checks to CHAINSAW PETE, TUMMY KRUNCHES, UPAHUT CINDY and RITZA NIGHT who all lost ground. CAWBOURNE SMUDGE shifted in on the first corner and checked RYBENBROOK JOSH who ran a little wide into the first bend. Soon after RITZA NIGHT shifted out forcing UPAHUT CINDY, TUMMY KRUNCHES and CHAINSAW PETE wide into the first bend and they all lost ground. |
| Race 9 | Group 1 Wanganui Distance C2D Final - C2df - 755 | The favourite SWIFT FANTASY was slow to begin as is usual for her but again made up a huge amount of ground on the final circuit and finished a very close up 4th . |
| Race 10 | Mickey's Super Liquor R/A Feature - R/A - 520 | LOUIE MACHALL shifted out from the start and DARLYNE OTTEY was pushed a little wide. DARLYNE OTTEY then shifted in going into the first corner and collided with LOUIE MACHALL and they both lost ground. LOUIE MACHALL was then galloped on by REGAL DANCER and they both lost several lengths and tailed the field for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 11 | Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305 | MOODY MAN and RONS SECRET bumped together for several strides in the run to the first corner and they settled near the rear and stayed well back to the finish. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305 | SPEEDY LEESHELLE, RIPPED JEANS, DONNA BAXTER and FLAG WAVER jostled together running to the first corner and they lost ground with DONNA BAXTER the most affected and she lost four lengths and finished in last place. |
