| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295 | OHOKA GERRY was the last to jump. Into the bend SWIP TASTIC angled inwards checking DYNAMIK SPIRIT who in turn came back on to HOMEBUSH ACE who received a severe check and dropped to the rear with OHOKA GERRY being forced wide at this point. A post race veterinary check of HOMEBUSH ACE revealed no injury. |
| Race 2 | Coaster's Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295 | DONT CALL ME was the last to jump. MIGHTY MONICA ran inwards sharply soon after the jump tightening GREEN TREATS, DONT CALL ME and GEORGIE WONG and coming together with IONA HAKA who lost some momentum. GEORGIE WONG and DONT CALL ME came together into the bend with DONT CALL ME receiving a bad check and dropping to the rear. GREEN TREATS was forced wide to avoid these runners and lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Addington Events Centre Stakes - C0 - 520 | BOTANY VIXEN and OPAWA BLAZE both missed the jump and settled at the rear. FUR PATROL ran very wide in the back straight losing ground. On the home turn JUNIOR WHAT and MUMS PRODIGY came together when handy with both dogs losing momentum. JUNIOR WHAT was also checked by BOTANY VIXEN late in the run home. |
| Race 4 | Business Time At Stud Dash - C0 - 295 | SUMMER HAKA was a clear last on jumping. Into the bend BLONDE TORI ran inwards tightening OPAWA PRINCE and CALM RITA with CALM RITA falling. NIKAU DANNY and BOTANY NANA came together for a stride on the home turn when vying for the lead. A post race veterinary check of CALM RITA revealed no injury. |
| Race 5 | Murray@Ray White Ph 3715005 Stakes - C0 - 520 | KNOW HONOUR, ELLA LANE and BUBBA WHO were tardy at the jump. In the early stages ELLA LANE ran inwards and forced KNOW HONOUR on to the rail with that runner losing ground and dropping to the rear. MISS FIT was tightened into the first bend and lost a length. At the end of the back straight MISS FIT was again checked as BOTANY PRANCER crossed to the rail with MISS FIT losing momentum. Post race veterinary checks of MISS FIT and KNOW HONOUR revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 6 | racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295 | RADIATOR SPRINGS was the last to jump from the outside. WHERES MY SEAT and JUST A MATE came together in the early stages. WHERES MY SEAT shortened stride into the bend and dropped out to finish a long last. A post race veterinary check of WHERES MY SEAT revealed a gracilis tear with a 28 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 7 | Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C1 - 520 | RHYTHM IN BLUE was very slow to jump. SITE AN EXCUSE checked off the back of NITRO EXPRESS into the first bend and lost a length. |
| Race 8 | Wizelee At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295 | BELFAST SUZY crossed quickly to the rail with WANDY LUCK and OKUKU BOBO receiving slight tightening. Into the bend OKUKU BOBO ran outwards with WANDY LUCK, OPAWA FLYER and FULLA PRIDE being checked at this stage. |
| Race 9 | Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C1 - 520 | PIED WARRIOR and AXEL GRINDER were the last to jump. SILVIA SUE ran inwards soon after the jump checking DOGGER BANK who lost ground. DOGGER BANK stopped badly in the concluding stages finishing 25.9 lengths from the winner with a post race veterinary check revealing that the dog was suffering from cramp. Co-trainer Andy McCook advised Stewards that the dog would be restricted to sprints in the near future. |
| Race 10 | David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C2 - 295 | LOTSA STYLE ran outwards in the early stages checking OKUKU BOMBER and HOMEBUSH BORIS. Into the bend OKUKU SKYHIGH ran outwards tightening OSCAR TUIVASA, JIMMY CEE and HOMEBUSH BORIS who lost ground. The muzzle of OKUKU BOMBER fell off soon after the start of this race. It was found to have broken with an inspection revealing that the muzzle had been in good order. |
| Race 11 | NZ Racing Series Final - NZRSf - 520 | MIXED GRILL angled inwards in the early stages tightening ANOTHER BREEZE along the rail. Wider out the kennelmates GEOFF THE REF and ADMIRE both ran inwards with KNOW PERIL and OPAWA STYLE both being badly checked and dropping to the rear. |
| Race 12 | Jet Pets Sprint - C2 - 295 | Soon after the jump DECADO ran inwards as OKUKU WEE MAN angled outwards resulting in MEANDER and KILKENNY being badly tightened and losing ground. Into the bend OKUKU LILLY caused pressure as she ran inwards on to CRIXUS and HOMEBUSH MAYHEM with HOMEBUSH MAYHEM being angling outwards and checking the other two runners. OKUKU LILLY lost ground in this incident. |
| Race 13 | The Miller Bar & Cafe Dash - C1 - 295 | HAMPDEN SPIRIT was the slowest from the traps. |
| Race 14 | Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295 | WISE WONDER was the last to jump. GENIAL moved outwards in the early stages coming together with BELFAST GLENDA with resultant tightening to all other runners on their outside. BELFAST GLENDA and GENIAL continued to jostle for a few strides with GENIAL almost falling and dropping to the rear. CAWBOURNE CASEY was badly checked in this incident with OUR REBEL GIRL also losing ground. Post race veterinary checks of CAWBOURNE CASEY and GENIAL revealed no injuries. |
