Track: Dead The meeting was held in abysmal conditions with the track unable to be groomed between races as a result.

Judicial report: SABRE DANCE (M Flipp) was withdrawn from the Dunedin Cup final before the box draw after the dog had not recovered from a hock strain sustained two weeks ago.

Race 1	Norwood Farm Machinery Sprint - C0 - 310	PUKEKO FLYER and SHIRAZ ROSE were the last to jump. MISS FIT came together with MAGGIE DEE into the bend. PUKEKO FLYER then checked outwards off the back of MAGGIE DEE and badly checked SHIRAZ ROSE with these two runners losing their chances. On the home turn MISS FIT checked outwards off the back of MAGGIE DEE and into the path of SECRET NICOLE who lost all momentum and dropped out.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	WISE WONDER was the last to jump. In a tightly compacted unit into the bend FERAL FOX, NEW ORDER and the favourite GENIAL were all tightened and lost ground with GENIAL having to run wide to get racing room.
Race 3	Marie's 70th Birthday Stakes - C2 - 545	OPAWA FLYER ran inwards soon after the jump checking CAWBOURNE HEIDI who dropped to the rear and coming together with LIFES GREAT. RUN RILEY RUN ran outwards into the first bend pushing FLYING REBEL over extra ground. Into the back straight FLYING REBEL angled inwards and contacted the rear of the favourite FEAR GO who then ran outwards with both runners losing ground. LIFES GREAT was tightened at the end of the back straight losing ground. A post race veterinary check of LIFES GREAT revealed split webbing with a 21 day stand down recommended.
Race 4	Speedprint Shop Sprint - C1 - 310	GRANT A DOLLAR was a clear last on jumping. MOREPORT SHANNON ran inwards in the early stages pushing JOHNNYS BLUE down the track on to CEE CEE ARE with both runners losing ground. CEE CEE ARE shifted outwards soon after checking JOHNNYS BLUE who dropped to the rear. GRANT A DOLLAR and JOHNNYS BLUE came together into the bend when at the rear. The winner SURF QUAKE was trampled at the lure with a post race veterinary check revealing a split nail with no stand down considered necessary.
Race 5	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C2 - 310	DECADO angled outwards off the back of OLD MATE DAVE on the home turn pushing SOCRATES and FOGGY STORM wider around that bend.
Race 6	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 545	OPAWA ECHO ran outwards in the early stages checking kennelmate RAY DOSH who dropped to the rear. WEARY TRAVELER ran wide into the first bend losing ground. At the end of the back straight RAY DOSH checked off the back of BRASSED OFF and lost ground. He finished last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 7	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C3 - 310	VITALIZE ran inwards at the jump checking ALWAYS A STORY and GEORGIE LEE who settled at the rear. Into the bend VITALIZE continued his movement inwards and GEORGIE LEE improved along the inside resulting in LIFE WITH DEXTER and BLACK MERCEDES both being badly tightened and losing ground. GEORGIE LEE appeared to strike the rail at this stage with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 8	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C4 - 310	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. Into the bend in a keenly contested race SISSI received some tightening and lost ground. On the home turn SISSI and WATERHOUSE came together and lost momentum. After the race GENISTA TORNADO was found to have a torn nail with no stand down deemed necessary.
Race 9	Dunedin Cup - C5f - 545	This race was delayed by one minute at the request of Raceday Control. AWESOME BENDER angled wide in the early stages and made solid contact with SHUNT APPEAL with both dogs losing ground and settling at the rear. AWESOME BENDER was then checked by SHUNT APPEAL into the first bend and lost more ground. AWESOME BENDER ran on late for fifth. KNOW WHICH was checked into the first bend and ran wide losing ground. MIXED GRILL also angled wide on that bend and pushed WALK DA TORQUE wider.
Race 10	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C3/4 - 545	OPAWA MIDNIGHT, UNION STEAM and WODSTON BOBO were the last to jump. Into the first bend BOTANY KELLY came together with MAINLAND STAR who fell. Post race veterinary checks of MAINLAND STAR and the winner DYNA GROLL both revealed broken nails with no stand downs required.
Race 11	Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C3 - 310	ACHEW ACHEW and STAR GUN were the last to jump. These two runners came together on several occasions in the back straight as ACHEW ACHEW attempted to get to the outside. On the home turn ACHEW ACHEW was dragged down by STAR GUN as the pair again jostled and STAR GUN had contacted the back end of ACHEW ACHEW. A post race veterinary check of ACHEW ACHEW revealed no injury.
Race 12	Happy First Birthday Edward Sprint - C5 - 310	SORRY VANDERFORD, WANDY CHICK and KNOW ADVANTAGE were the last to emerge from the traps. Kennelmates CAWBOURNE COOKIE and HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN came together on the turn and lost ground with SORRY VANDERFORD being held up in behind these runners. CAWBOURNE COOKIE ran outwards on the home turn checking HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN when both runners were at the rear.
Race 13	Racing Again Tuesday 15th May Dash - C5 - 310	FIREMANS SALUTE was the last to jump. FAIR MOVIN ran outwards in the early stages coming together with NOBLE ENFORCER who lost ground. HOT MANGO ran inwards soon after hitting the rail with some force and dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of HOT MANGO was requested but due to a communication error was not carried out. The trainers of the dog will be contacted in the next few days to ascertain the health of this bitch. ENFLAME ran inwards on the home turn checking kennelmate HOMEBUSH EDITH who lost momentum.
