Judicial report: SUGAR PLUM (D Roberts) completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 83. FEARSOME MCKAY (B Shaw) who had suffered a bad check in the concluding race last night was represented to the Vet this morning and found to have a groin strain with a 10 day stand down recommended.

Race 1	tradestaff.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	THEOKOLES was the last to jump. In the early stages HOMEBUSH NICK crossed quickly to the inside checking OHOKA GERRY and OUR REBEL GIRL who both dropped to the rear. On the home turn THEOKOLES crossed to the rail in front of BIGTIME YAHOO who ran outwards as a result checking OKOTOKS who lost momentum.
Race 2	Yaldhurst Hotel Sprint - C0 - 295	GEORGIES GIRL and GRIDIRON were slow to jump. BOTANY MOLLY ran inwards in the early stages badly checking HOMEBUSH GRETA who lost ground checking GRIDIRON as she did so. On the bend GEORGIES GIRL and GRIDIRON came together when at the rear. Post race veterinary checks of these two dogs revealed no injuries.
Race 3	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C0 - 295	DONT CALL ME jumped in the air at the start and lost ground. TEPIRITA RITA ran inwards in the early stages tightening GEORGIE WONG and HOMEBUSH BAD BOY. Soon after HOMEBUSH BAD BOY kept searching for the rail and checked BOTANY NANA, GREEN TREATS and DONT CALL ME who all dropped to the rear. On the home turn the pacemaking MIGHTY MONICA angled off the fence and lost a couple of lengths.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA CRUSHER ran outwards in the early stages making contact with BUBBA WHO for a stride. On the first bend BLONDE TORI angled outwards inconveniencing JUDGE TO EXCEL who was forced to change ground. In the home straight THANKS CHARLIE angled outwards marginally taking the line of KNOW HONOUR just short of the line.
Race 5	Super Pets Maiden Sprint Final - C0f - 295	LISA BAXTER, JUNIOR WHAT and KNOW CHAOS were all slow to jump. JUNIOR WHAT and KNOW CHAOS came together in the run down the back straight with JUNIOR WHAT then angling inwards into the bend and coming together with LISA BAXTER. On the bend JUST A MATE and IONA HAKA came together on two occasions.
Race 6	Hurunui Hotel Stakes - C0 - 520	ELLA LANE was slow to jump and OPAWA BLAZE missed the start badly settling last. BOTANY COMET ran inwards in the early stages coming together with BOTANY PRANCER for a stride.
Race 7	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C2 - 295	OKUKU WEE MAN was the last to jump.
Race 8	Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1 - 520	FINGER POP and SILVIA SUE were the slowest from the traps while OHOKA ASHLEY stumbled for a stride at the jump. FINGER POP checked off the back of SITE AN EXCUSE into the first bend.
Race 9	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295	NITRO EXPRESS was a clear last on jumping with JAFFA GUN and RUNWAY QUEEN also settling well back. RUNWAY QUEEN the favourite then checked outwards off HUSKER DU on the bend and lost ground.
Race 10	Flair Sprint - C2 - 295	WANDY LUCK came together solidly with ALS BEST MATE as she tried to cross from the outside losing some momentum. ALS BEST MATE then cannoned into PHAEDRAS FIRST who lost ground.
Race 11	Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	PIED WARRIOR and OPAWA CHARLIE were the last to jump. Into the first bend RAMBUNCTIOUS ran inwards tightening FUN TIME GIRL and ULTIMATE SPICE who lost ground. PIED WARRIOR then contacted the back of FUN TIME GIRL and was turned sideways dropping to the rear.
Race 12	Addington Events Centre Dash - C2 - 295	GOTTA FIND BUBBA and HALF THROTTLE were the slowest from the traps. HOMEBUSH SARINA was tightened into the bend and lost ground.
Race 13	Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Dash - C1 - 295	NAEVIA was the last to jump. HOMEBUSH JONTY shifted outwards in the early stages coming together with DOGGER BANK and TWISTER AL for a stride. BILLY DABYNE received some tightening into the bend and lost ground. Andy McCook the co-trainer of the winner FULLA PRIDE was questioned in regards to the improved performance of his bitch. He stated that she had been trialling well prior to last week's fresh up run where she was badly checked. He added that he was confident of a big run today.
Race 14	Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295	ZED KAY MAN and DYNAMIK SPIRIT were the slowest to jump. AVEC LAMOUR brushed with ZED KAY MAN into the bend. On the home turn RED CARPET pushed BELFAST GLENDA wide when looking for room with RED CARPET losing momentum.
