Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: NEK MINUTE turned in the boxes in race 2 on todays card taking no part in proceedings ,the dog was vet checked as a precaution with no apparent injuries detected
Trainer Mrs M Mann applied to the Stewards to have the dog complete a box trail at the conclusion of todays meeting , this request was granted under rule 72.13
NEK MINUTE completed the box trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards and is clear to race .

Race 1	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C0 - 375	FORECASTER was not so slow away today and tried to make ground around the field eventually finishing in the last couple at the line From the boxes THRILLING VEGAS ran inwards sharply KARLA LLEWINSKY who ran in across the face of FORCASTER ,THRILLING VEGAS then collided with BOO WOO and FLYING MAGNUM who was trying to come out from the inside box KARLA LEWINSKY, BOO WOO ,FLYING SHIFTY and FLYING MAGNUM all suffered checks losing several lengths in this incident.
Race 2	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Final - C0 - 457	NEK MINUTE turned itself around in the box missing the start by a distance and loosing all chance in the race. Connections were advised that NEK MINUTE will be required to box trial prior to starting again. KANGA WHIZ made contact with DREAM FOR US shortly after the start.
Race 3	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Series Heat 1 - C1q - 375 Heat 1	HOT HOPE was crowded for room at the start loosing ground as a result. ROSIE RHODE began awkwardly loosing two lengths at the start, settling in midfield and running home for 5th. KING"S PORTRAIT got up on the heels of FIRESIDE BLAZE rounding the final turn, and shifted inwards to obtain a clear run.
Race 4	Fond Foods LTD Stakes - C2/3 - 457	From the boxes CRAFTY GRAHAM headed straight for the lure tightening SEEING EXCUSES, THRILLING CHARGE and ON TREY. This resulted in THRILLING CHARGE running up onto the heels of SEEING EXCUSES, where both these runners were serverly hampered and checked. SEEING EXCUSES went back to the rear and was observed to be galloping uncomfortably finishing several lengths last at the line and was sent for a vet check. CRAFTY GRAHAM recovered well from this incident and run home gamely for thrid at the line. CORNELIUS raced out wide from the start and into the first bend and into and down the final straight, running home strongly for a close up 5th placing at the line. SEEING EXCUSES was sent for a vet check where no aparent injuries were found.
Race 5	All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C1 - 457	From the boxes, TWIN RIVERS came across and collided with WINSOME JOLIE, who went back to the rear and was never in contention from there on. WINSOME JOLIE got up onto the heels of SHIRONA approaching the first turn, and shifted outwards to obtain a clear run. The trainer of WINSOME JOLIE was spoken to regarding it's performance today, and the Stewards will be expecting an improved performance in future.
Race 6	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Series Heat 2 - C1q - 375 Heat 2	BIG LASS was tighted for room approaching the first bend when THRILLING CHILL came across. CULLENS IMPACT ran the wide round the first bend. Rounding the final turn, ASTUTE WHIZ ran out across the heels of LOCKLINNE then ducked back in to obtain a clear run. ASTUTE WHIZ ran home strongly finishing in 2nd at the line HOTWAX was vetted at the Trainers request and was found to have suffered a split webbing on left hind with a 14 day stand down imposed.
Race 7	Mitre 10 Mega Cambridge Sprint - C1/2 - 375	This race was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of raceday control, due to other commitments. MARTYN STREET was slow away by a couple of lengths. Racing into the first turn, NAUGHTY COURTY who was racing up in a handy position, ran up onto the heels of SASHA'S ONE and went back through the field, resulting in MARTYN STREET was unable to avoid NAUGHTY COURTY and ran up on her back where NAUGHTY COURTY was pulled to the ground MARTYN STREET went back to the rear by several lengths and could not get in to contention from there on in NAUGHTY COURTY recovered her footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check where no apparent injuries were detected.
Race 8	Te Awamutu Self Storage Sprint - C3/4 - 375	This race was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of raceday control. From the boxes TAKE THE MICK raced across on to FIGIAN SAM pushing him over on to BOY SPICE, EMMA JAY and DALLAS BEAUTY. DALLAS BEAUTY was able to keep going in to the lead. Racing in to the first turn BOY SPICE tried to get closer in where he tightened EMMA JAY(fav) and PERCENTAGE MAN who were hampered for several strides ,with EMMA JAY going back towards the rear ,she was not able to recover to get back in to contention from there on in. PERCENTAGE MAN recovered well to run on strongly late for 2nd placing at the line
Race 9	0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C5 - 457	BEATRIX KIDDO went up with the lids losing a couple of lengths ,soon after CASH KNOCKA was checked as he raced across to the rail getting on the heels of BEATRIX KIDDO at that point. Racing down in to the first turn COMPLICIT came across on to KOKO WHIZ and BENNY ROX tightning them for a couple of strides ,they did well to keep their ground and were able to keep their positions in the leading group. Further in towards the rear BEATRIX KIDDO was hampered slightly as CASH KNOCKA made ground around her crossing to the rail,BEATRIX KIDDO went back to the rear never getting in to contention from there on in.
Race 10	Presland Tocker Insurance Sprint - C5 - 375	GRIZZ (fav) and ONE TOUGH COOKIE bumped soon after leaving the boxes with GRIZZ soon coming together with CAWBOURNE STARS where they jostled for several strides. CAWBOURNE STAR was able to clear this runner and in doing so GRIZZ got on his heels and bumped his hinquarters going back to the rear ,when he tried to make ground he ran on to the heels of PROVERBIAL and lost more ground GRIZZ made little ground thereafter finishing towards the rear and was sent for a vet check, where no aparent injuries were found.
Race 11	Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C3 - 457	From the boxes, WINSOME RITE was the slowest into stride. SURFING AL began awkwardly making contact with KIWI GIRL. Approaching the first bend, LEKTRA FANTASY ducked outwards across the heels of KIWI GIRL. Rounding the first bend, COTSWALD PRINCE came across into the line of LEKTRA FANTASY, which was checked, losing several lengths as a result. DECADENT raced wide throughout, finishing strongly to win well.
Race 12	Sergio @ Stud Stakes - C4 - 457	Shortly after jumping, INDEED UNIQUE forced THRILLING RUST out onto the heels of PEKING TOM and KILARA'S FANCY, with THRILLING RUST being checked, settling at the rear. In this incident THRILLING RUST made heavy contact with THRILLING BOLT.
