| Race 1 | Thornton Auctions Sprint - C1 - 318 | From the boxes HOTWAX came out with RHYME IN MELODY as KEZZ came across resulting in HOT HOPE and RHYME IN MELODY being tightened and checked back to the rear ,soon after IMAGINATION and KEZZ collided as they raced in to the first turn ,RHYME IN MELODY raced wide in to and around the top bend also widest in to the home straight . |
| Race 2 | Jo's TAB Onehunga Sprint - C0 - 318 | KANGA WHIZ was very slow away from the outside box losing 4 or so lengths ,further in VICKI"S QUEST raced straight across the face of the field and collided with CARUBA QUEEN who was pushed over on to SECRET STAR who went down on her hindquarters and collided with JETSUN DREAM, racing in towards the first turn JETSUN DREAM changed ground to get racing room up on the inside of VICKIES QUEST and was forced to check as WE'RE SO LUCKY crossed to the rail and tightened VICKIES QUEST at that point JETSUN DREAM lost her balance for a couple of strides almost hitting the running rail ,she recovered very well to finish strongly in the home straight for 2nd placing at the line SECRET STAR was sent for a precautionary vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 3 | Magness Benrow Sprint - C1 - 318 | From the boxes RANDO REASON raced across on to DIGGIN" ON YOU who collided with JOURNEY AGAIN who then ran in to the shoulder of ASTUTE WHIZ ,soon after LOCKLINNIE from the 1 box raced out wide and collided with ASTUTE WHIZ as CAWBOURNE STEFFI came across from wider out causing JOURNEY AGAIN and DIGGIN" ON YOU to be tightened with JOURNEY AGAIN being checked back racing in to the first turn ASTUTE WHIZ and DIGGIN' ON YOU came together and jostled for a couple of strides with JOURNEY AGAIN being pushed out on to DIGGIN" ON YOU and both these runners were severly checked back to the rear and were observed to be uncomfortable in their galloping action thereafter Just on passing the post JOURNEY AGAIN fell and was taken off the track for veterinary attention and appearred to be winded and has suffered a spike wound to left hind with a 10 day stand down recommended . DIGGIN; ON YOU was sent for a vet check and was found to have left wrist joint pain with a 14 day stand down imposed |
| Race 4 | Auckland Vending Sprint - C2 - 318 | FRIZZLE FRAZZLE and MARTYN STREET were the slowest away ,wider out TIGER KAREN spead herself in behind momenterily on coming off the mat Racing down in to the first turn TIGER KAREN came over on to THRILLING SIMONE where these two runners jostled for several strides with THRILLING SIMONE almost being pushed on to the running rail and in being checked back caught a heel of TIGER KAREN , THRILLING SIMONE went back to the rear and was never able to get back in to contention from there on in FRIZZLE FRAZZLE and THRILLING JAFFA went wide in to and across the top bend THRILLING JAFFA was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action turning for the run in and down the home straight and was sent for a vet check where she was found to be suffering from right wrist pain with a 14 day stand down imposed |
| Race 5 | Magic Sprite @ Stud Sprint - C5 - 318 | From the boxes MOON WARROWER was akwardly away for a stride , he then headed straight for the rail and ran in on to THRILLING SIGHT (fav) who was severly hampered for some distance and was checked back towards the rear at that point ,further out CAPTAIN RICHIE came across on to NATHAN'S CHAMP resulting in CAWBOURNE MADZ being tightened and squeezed back from in between them, soon after racing down in to the first turn BEATRIX KIDDO racced across and collided with CAWBOURNE MADZ who ran in and collided with THRILLING SIGHT who brushed on to the rail for several strides, in the at this point CAPTAIN RICHIE kept forcing his way across towards the rail where he ran in on to ELLY'S GIRL and NATHAN'S CHAMP being caught between these runners ELLY'S GIRL and NATHAN'S CHAMP were severly tightened and checked at this point RIPPED JEANS ran wide across the top bend running on well for 2nd placing at the line THRILLING SIGHT was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 6 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | Soon after the start YAMBLA BOB and MONSHIRAZ collided with YAMBLA BOB colliding with DIAMOND RAIDER ,YAMBLA BOB went back to the rear and never got back in to contention from there on in EMBLAZING was sent for a vet check on returning to the kennel block where an injury to was detected ,he was found to have suffered a deep cut to his left fore dew claw and a split webbing on his left hind with a 21 day stand down imposed |
| Race 7 | $25,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527 | TWIN RIVERS raced wide for the entire journey finishing on strongly in the home straight for 3rd placing at the line |
| Race 8 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C1 - 527 | PINT STAR raced out wide down the back straight then went in acros the top bend ,PINT STAR and HAIR HE IS bumped on the home turn with PINT STAR running wide in recovering her balance ,she ran on late for a game 2nd placing at the line FUTURE PROOF (fav) was slowest away ,THRILLING PUNCH leant on him for a couple of strides where he went back to the rear and never got into contention from there on in finishing towards the rear at the line . |
| Race 9 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C2/3 - 318 | Soon after the start RHODA HOLMES came across as BEARLY POSSIBLE came out just as AUSTIN WILD crossed them to the lead ROLLED OATS in behind came in as SOOTY'S ESTATE moved out on to BEARLY POSSIBLE with these three runners all coming together, SOOTY'S ESTATE was turned sideways at this point as ROLLED OATS kept pushing BEARLY POSSIBLE on to SOOTY'S ESTATE , ROLLED OATS then straightemed up but went wide across the top bend . |
| Race 10 | Carol's TABS Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | Racing in to the first turn there was tightning and pressure on several runners as LECTRA FANTASY tried to get over closer to the rail resulting in DECADENT, EDWARD CULLEN , PAMPEST , CRAFTY GRAHAM and EXCUSABLE all being hampered for several strideswith PAMPEST being knocked sideways as CRAFTY GRAHAM straightened on the point of the first bend, EDWARD CULLEN was forced to check off the heels of DECADENT as this runner made ground past him on the point of the first bend . |
| Race 11 | Reel Fishin .com Series Final - C5f - 318 | FANCY MILLY was a late scratching at 11.30am , the dog had fallen at her previous start on the 19-4-2012 The trainer will be contacted for an explanation as to the dog not being scratched earlier . FANCY MILLY was presented to the vet and was found to be suffering from a right deltoid muscle injury with a 10 day stand down imposed Soon after leaving the boxes GEMZ came out on to CORPORAL JONES who collided with ONE TOUGH COOKIE (fav) who was turned sideways and her hindquarters bumped in to CHA CHA CHAINSAW, ONE TOUGH COOKIE became unbalanced for a couple of strides losing her momentum and a length or so ,a few strides on ONE TOUGH COOKIE and GEMZ came together jostling for a few strides ONE TOUGH COOKIE recovered well to finish in 3rd placing at the line CORPORAL JONES raced wide across the top bend and into the home straight |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C4 - 318 | Racing down to the first turn SAFE AND SECURE and TAILIESIN BLUE came together ,WINSOME RITE raced hard acroos from wider out and collided with SAFE AND SECURE,TAILIESIN BLUE was able to sprint away from trouble after this finishing on gamely for 2nd position at the line SAFE AND SECURE and WINSOME RITE lost their positions going back 4 or so lengths SWIFT SWINGER raced widest in to and around the top bend. |
