| Race 1 | Otago First4 Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | IONA HAKA and KNOW CHAOS were the slowest to jump. In the early stages PUKEKO FLYER ran inwards as RITE ROUND RANGE angled outwards with tightening to IONA HAKA, SHIRAZ ROSE and KNOW CHAOS as a result. Into the bend RITE ROUND RANGE ran outwards pushing PUKEKO FLYER and SECRET VENUS wider with these dogs losing ground. |
| Race 2 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz sprint - C0 - 310 | The favourite KNOW CLASS was a clear last on jumping. He improved on the turn and proved too strong in the run home. BLONDE TORI and NEW YORK AFFAIR came together into the bend. Wider out FAT SALLY ran outwards pushing SECRET NICOLE wide around that bend. In the home straight HOMEBUSH GRETA and MAGGIE DEE came together with HOMEBUSH GRETA falling. She regained her paws quickly with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 3 | Roofing Solutions Stakes - C1 - 545 | KOMBUCHA and SILVIA SUE came together soon after the jump with SLIGHTLY AMAZING being inconvenienced and dropping to the rear. |
| Race 4 | Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C1 - 310 | In a straggly start MERMAN JEWEL, RAMBUNCTIOUS, RULE JUDGE JUDY and especially BLACK OZARK were slow to jump. CEE CEE ARE received a slight check from behind into the bend losing some momentum. |
| Race 5 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2 - 310 | STAGS INGILL was tightened into the bend as JIMMY CEE crossed her from the outside. On the bend the favourite WANDY BOILER ran wide when leading and lost ground. |
| Race 6 | Speedprint Shop Stakes - C2 - 545 | CROSSFIRE MAX was the last to jump. The favourite HAUKO was leading into the last turn but once headed dropped right away to finish last. A post race veterinary check revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 7 | Green Island Barber Sprint - C1 - 310 | SOCRATES and FERAL FOX came together for a stride in the early stages with FERAL FOX losing ground. GRANT A DOLLAR then moved outwards checking FERAL FOX and AVEC LAMOUR. JAFFA GUN crossed to the rail in the early stages with TIE MY TIE receiving some tightening along the rail and losing ground. MOREPORT SHANNON was checked on the bend when racing on the outside of FERAL FOX and dropped to the rear. On the home turn GRANT A DOLLAR ran wide losing ground before making ground late for a close third. |
| Race 8 | Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C3 - 310 | LIFE WITH DEXTER ran outwards at the jump checking the favourite FIRMANS ESCORT and JOHNNIE GEORGE with these two runners settling well back. FIREMANS ESCORT ran wide when attempting to improve into the bend with LIFE WITH DEXTER being pushed wider and losing ground. |
| Race 9 | Norwood Farm Machinery Stakes - C3/4 - 545 | OPAWA JOHNNY was the last to jump. The favourite OPAWA MIDNIGHT was tightened along the inside into the first bend and dropped to the rear. This dog then checked off his littermate OPAWA JOHNNY into the back straight and lost three lengths. On the home turn BOTANY KELLY angled outwards slightly and came together with kennelmate SHOULD BE CARLOS who fell. He regained his paws and went to the lure with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 10 | St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C3 - 310 | CAWBOURNE CATCH was very slow to jump with VAMPIRES SHADOW also settling well back. GEORGIE LEE and CAWBOURNE HARVEY came together at the jump for a stride. COT CASE CUTIE was tightened into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 11 | Dunedin Cup Heats - C5q - 545 Heat 1 | The favourite AWESOME BENDER checked outwards off runners into the bend and dropped to the rear. At the end of the back straight BADJA BALE ran inwards coming together with CYNTHIA BAXTER with BADJA BALE losing ground. |
| Race 12 | Dunedin Cup Heats - C5q - 545 Heat 2 | TEDDY MARCELLO ran inwards soon after the line dictating the line of EMILY BAXTER and MIXED GRILL down on to OPAWA COLLAR who was tightened and lost ground. TEDDY MARCELLO and SAM I AM came together for a stride into the first bend. TEDDY MARCELLO dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing a sore shoulder with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 13 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C4 - 310 | TEPIRITA TIKI went down on his nose at the jump and settled last. Into the bend KNOW ESCAPE angled inwards and tightened WAFFLER on to ANOTHER LEGIN with WAFFLER falling. He completed the event with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 14 | Roofing Solutions Dash - C5 - 310 | CAWBOURNE LEVI was the last to jump. Into the bend FAIR MOVIN was tightened firstly by CAWBOURNE MOFF and then by SANTA SLOY with FAIR MOVIN strumbling and dropping to the rear. MISS CHANDON and CAWBOURNE LEVI had to scout wide to avoid her losing ground in the process. A post race veterinary check of FAIR MOVIN revealed no injury. |
| Race 15 | Racing Again Tuesday 1st May Sprint - C4 - 310 | JED NORTON was a shade slow from the inside. STARBURST SUZIE was tightened to the rear soon after the jump as TRILOGY SERIES crossed from her outside. |
