| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C3 - 295 | ANOTHER COFFEE and GUY BAXTER both ran inwards and made contact with the running rail into the bend dropping to the rear. Post race veterinary checks of these dogs revealed no abnormalities. REDDY BOY checked outwards off the pacemaking BOTANY ZENA and lost ground running on well in the straight for third. Jonathan McInerney when questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner BOTANY ZENA put it down to a downgrade and clear run into the first bend. |
| Race 2 | Islington Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520 | RAY DOSH was the last away. Into the first bend SHA CHAR was badly dragged down by OPAWA STEVE with both dogs losing ground and running wide pushing FUR PATROL even wider around that bend. A post race veterinary check of SHA CHAR revealed no injury. |
| Race 3 | Jet Pets Dash - C0 - 295 | MISS FIT ran outwards soon after the jump coming into contact with PRIMITIVE with both dogs losing ground and settling at the rear. Wider out JUST A MATE ran inwards checking CARELESS TALK. Into the bend HOMEBUSH SMOKE ran outwards contacting MISS FIT and PRIMITIVE with these runners losing ground. |
| Race 4 | Sensative Harry At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295 | HOMEBUSH NICK lost ground in tight quarters between LETS DEBATE and SALVADOR BALE in the early stages. On the bend SALVADOR BALE, LETS DEBATE and HOMEBUSH SARINA all came together with HOMEBUSH NICK being held up in behind. COOLS THE TUNE dropped out to finish a long last with a post race veterinary check revealing a wrist injury with a 21 day stand down recommended. Trainers Steve and Bonnie Evans informed Stewards that the dog would now be retired. |
| Race 5 | tradestaff.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520 | SMOOCHA was the last to jump. On the first bend the favourite ATTIRE was badly dragged down by FINGER POP and fell. BLACK JAY had to hurdle this runner losing momentum and was then pushed outwards by MIGHTY PROPHET into the back straight losing more ground. A post race veterinary check of ATTIRE revealed gracilis soreness with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 6 | Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C2 - 295 | THRILLING SOUND and IMPERATIVE were the last to jump in a straggly start to the race. IMPERATIVE checked outwards from in behind CAWBOURNE CASEY into the bend and pushed OPAWA FLYER wide with these dogs losing ground. |
| Race 7 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C1 - 520 | MEECES TO PIECES shortened stride into the first bend and eventually pulled up at the end of the back straight. A post race veterinary check of MEECES TO PIECES revealed a fractured hock with a 28 day stand down recommended. Trainer Alison Lee advised Stewards that the dog would now be retired. |
| Race 8 | Little Brown Jug Sprint - C1 - 295 | The favourite RED CARPET was the last to jump. Into the bend TWISTER AL ran inwards tightening WHERES MY SEAT and an improving RED CARPET with these dogs dropping to the rear. RED CARPET did well to get up for fourth after this check. On the bend ALL AGAINST ME was tightened and then impeded for a few strides on the home turn as BIGTIME YAHOO ran outwards. |
| Race 9 | Buy Sell & Exchange Sprint - C3 - 295 | OHOKA ZOE and BENNYS ANGEL were the slowest from the outside. BENNYS ANGEL checked outwards off ANY BAD HABITS on the home turn and lost ground. |
| Race 10 | Addington Events Centre Dash - C1 - 295 | ARE TEE MAY was the last to jump from the inside. FIERY FLOWER ran outwards after checking off OKUKU LILLY into the bend causing PHAEDRAS FIRST and OUR REBEL GIRL to be checked and lose ground. On the home turn PHAEDRAS FIRST angled inwards checking FIERY FLOWER who lost ground with ARE TEE MAY and OKOTOKS being inconvenienced in behind. |
| Race 11 | Borat At Stud Stakes - C2 - 520 | JONNY JET crossed in front of SEISMIC STORM and FLYING REBEL into the bend with these dogs losing ground. Into the first bend MOLLY PARTON angled outwards pushing FLYING REBEL and SONIC DUFFER wider. Trainer Jason Dunn was questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner JONNY JET. He replied that the dog had trialled well on Tuesday and was now injury free after various complaints in his career. |
| Race 12 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C2 - 295 | GENISTA LIGHTNIN and HOMEBUSH CRAIG were the last to jump. In the run down the back straight SWIP TASTIC ran inwards contacting HOMEBUSH CRAIG while closer in KNOW LOVE AFFAIR and HOMEBUSH KALAMA came together for a stride. |
| Race 13 | Flair Sprint - C1 - 295 | ZED KAY MAN was the last to jump. HOMEBUSH JONTY ran outwards soon after the jump coming together with JAMES ARTHUR and PADDO SCORE with these runners all losing ground. Into the bend HOMEBUSH JONTY and JAMES ARTHUR again came together and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 14 | Speight's Dash - C1 - 295 | DYNAMIK SPIRIT and OHOKA SUMMER were the last from the traps. FINN MCMISSILE ran inwards in the run to the bend tightening WISE WONDER, HOMEBUSH MAYHEM, OHOKA SUMMER and DYNAMIK SPIRIT with these runners all losing ground. |
