Judicial report: MISS IRON FIST which was stood down at Wanganui on 4 April was examined by Vet Dave Matheson and found to be free of injury. Therefore under Rule 82.5 the stand down is rescinded.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295	OHOKA SUMMER, THEOKOLES and MAXIS MATE were the last to jump. VITALIZE angled outwards into the bend pushing HOMEBUSH MAYHEM and DOOSRA wider. CHIPEWYAN then checked outwards off the back of DOOSRA forcing MAXIS MATE very wide around the bend. Following the race DOOSRA collapsed and died with the Veterinary Surgeon reporting that the dog had suffered a heart attack.
Race 2	O'Sheas Public House Sprint - C0 - 295	CAPUA and HAZZAS LAD were very slow to jump with HOMEBUSH SMOKE turning in the boxes and tailing the field. HOMEBUSH SMOKE is required to complete a box trial before its next start. FUR PATROL ran outwards into the bend and checked SYDEHHAM SAM who lost ground.
Race 3	Business Time At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295	FROGGY NEWITT was very slow to jump from the inside. FINN MCMISSILE ran inwards at the jump checking NEW ORDER who lost ground. FROGGY NEWITT ran outwards when improving making contact with NEW ORDER with both dogs losing momentum. On the home turn FINN MCMISSILE again ran inwards checking HOMEBUSH ACE who lost ground and went back on TWISTER AL who dropped to the rear.
Race 4	Flair Stakes - C0 - 520	RAY DOSH was the last to jump. Into the first bend AXEL GRINDER and OPAWA ECHO were both badly tightened with the favourite OPAWA ECHO being dragged down and dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of OPAWA ECHO revealed no injury.
Race 5	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C0 - 295	THANKS CHARLIE was tightened soon after the jump and then checked as VALENTINES DAY ran outwards in the early stages. Into the bend GENIAL angled outwards when leading slightly checking NEW YORK AFFAIR who fell. In the home straight OPAWA WILD was badly dragged down by THANKS CHARLIE when in a handy position and lost ground. Post race veterinary checks on NEW YORK AFFAIR and OPAWA WILD revealed no injuries.
Race 6	Culverden Hotel Dash - C1 - 295	JAMES ARTHUR was the last to jump. FIERY FLOWER was checked in the early stages as LEGEND BEE angled outwards in behind her. On the home turn an improving JAMES ARTHUR ran inwards causing FIERY FLOWER to receive another check and lose ground. In the run home LEGEND BEE was observed to turn her head and mar the pacemaking CRIXUS. LEGEND BEE was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.i.a and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before resuming.
Race 7	Pick 6 Leg 1 Sprint - C1 - 295	BIGTIME YAHOO ran outwards and FANTA ALERT ran inwards in the early stages tightening RUNWAY QUEEN and JOHNNYS BLUE who lost ground. Into the bend RUNWAY QUEEN hit the rail with some force and lost ground. Into the bend ATTIRE was checked from behind and lost ground with FANTA ALERT receiving a severe check and dropping to the rear. BIGTIME YAHOO brushed the rail at this stage when tightened along the inside. On the home turn BILLY DABYNE contacted the rear of DYNAMIK SPIRIT and fell. Post race veterinary checks of RUNWAY QUEEN and BILLY DABYNE revealed no injuries.
Race 8	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C1 - 520	MIGHTY PROPHET and NITRO EXPRESS were the last to jump.
Race 9	Dave Emerson Consultancy Dash - C2 - 295	OKUKU SKYHIGH was the last jump. HOMEBUSH KALAMA angled outwards on the home turn checking AUSSIE HAKA who lost ground.
Race 10	greyhoundtips.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	PIED WARRIOR and MEECES TO PIECES were the last to jump. KOMBUCHA and FUN TIME GIRL came together into the first bend losing momentum.
Race 11	Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C1 - 295	RED CARPET was last to jump. RON BAXTER and SOCRATES were checked into the bend and lost ground. Soon after RED CARPET ran outwards on the bend and then back inwards towards the rail checking OKOTOKS who lost ground.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295	ALS BEST MATE and OKUKU WEE MAN were the last to jump. AVERT checked outwards off JUMPIN JULIA on the turn and lost momentum pushing OKUKU WEE MAN wider. ALS BEST MATE ran outwards on the bend and checked EL KILDA who lost ground.
