Judicial report: LIZZYLICIOUS weighed 1.6 kilograms over its last start weight on 09.03.12. However, no penalty was imposed as the scales were reading .1 over when tested and the Club have been instructed to have them re calibrated to ensure accuracy. Trainer I.George advised the Club and Stewards that his vehicle had broken down enroute to the track and as a result, his four Greyhounds were declared late scratchings with no penalty imposed.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305	LIZZYLICIOUS began awkwardly losing ground and GUNNA PARTY was also a little slow to begin. KAZILION ran in sharply from the start and checked GUNNA PARTY and soon after collided with and checked LIZZYLICIOUS and all three dogs lost ground. LISSADELL JASPER raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH EDDIE was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout to finish in last place. SLIM JIM led from the start and then ran wide into the home straight and gave away the lead but recovered to go on and win the race.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 520	REALON ROSE shifted in from the start and forced LILYLICIOUS onto the line of LIBBYLICIOUS who was checked back to the rear. REALON ROSE continued to shift in and checked CHASING SHADOWS who lost two lengths. REALON ROSE and BIGTIME KELINA then jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and IBIGTIME KELINA was eventually checked on the first corner and went back onto LIBBYLICIOUS and they lost five lengths. BIGTIME KELINA recovered to make up ground well and finished in 2nd place but LIBBYLICIOUS stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood C2 - C2 - 305	WHAT WHERE WHEN was slow to begin losing four lengths but he made up ground to finish in 4th place. MISS IRON FIST shifted in and collided with LANSVALE SPARK on the first corner and lost ground as a result. MISS IRON FIST made firm contact with the rail soon after the finish line, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with tricep and triangle muscle pain.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 520	One of the better supported runners LADYLICIOUS who's recent starts have been over sprint distances, was handy until the final bend but then tired and drifted back to finish in last place. LINDOP and TWIN TIGERS bumped together going into the first bend and ran a little wide.
Race 6	GEON Wellington C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH DIGBY and HOMEBUSH CINDY jostled together for several strides going to the first corner when awkwardly placed inside JOLOKIA and they went back to the rear and never recovered.
Race 7	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	JUST MAC jumped well from box 8 to be in 2nd place going to the first corner when he was clipped from behind by THUNDA THIGHS and shifted in simultaneously as THRILLING HALO shifted out and JUST MAC lost ground and soon after was galloped on and dragged down by HOMEBUSH HAYLEY and both dogs lost ground. JUST MAC did make up some ground from there to finish in 4th place. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 8	Wanganui Security C1 HT1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	CULVIE CORGI and FROGGY NEWITT were slow to begin losing three lengths. CULVIE CORGI, HAPPY CLAPPY and RED HERRING jostled together towards the rear of the field after turning into the home straight and they all lost ground and finished in the last three places.
Race 9	Broad Roofing C1 HT 2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	JAGS FLYER was slow to begin losing two lengths but received a clear run through the field and made up ground to finish in 2nd place. TENKAY DOWN shifted out on the first corner and caused checks to NICKI HAKA, MRS BOUQUET and WATERBUG who all lost ground and the chance of finishing in the first three places.
Race 10	Mickeys Super Liquor C1 HT3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	RANDOM ACT, HOMEBUSH SUE, CAWBOURNE AVA and KEZZ were slow to begin and settled at the rear. CAWBOURNE AVA raced very wide on the bend and into the straight and finished in last place.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C1 HT4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	WISE WONDER was slow to begin losing three lengths. WISE WONDER shifted out on the first corner checking THAT IS ALL who almost fell and BINTY FLAHERTY who was forced wide into the bend. Several strides further on WISE WONDER checked off the heels of EVE HILL and shifted out again forcing BINTY FLAHERTY very wide on the track. THAT IS ALL was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a hock injury.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C1 HT5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	DARK FANCY who was having his first start after returning from a long recuperation as a result of injury, faltered and drifted off the back of the field soon after the start and he finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury but has been retired to G.A.P for consideration for rehoming. OKUKU SKYHIGH shifted out approaching the first corner and collided with BABY FALOU and they both lost three lengths. Soon after HOMEBUSH MAYHEM shifted out and collided with RUN ALAN and they both ran wide losing ground but recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places.
