| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | GURU GOOSE and OUT BY FIVE bumped together at the start and OUT BY FIVE lost two lengths in the incident. GURU GOOSE shifted in on the first corner and checked MY BAD JONNY and CYCLONE SIX who both lost three lengths. OUT BY FIVE and BABY FALOU also lost a little ground in the incident. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | BOND ECLIPSE was slow to begin losing two lengths but she secured a clear rails run and finished well for 2nd placing. LANSVALE SPARK, HOMEBUSH DIGBY and TAILS OFF were all checked losing four lenngths on the first corner and they finished in the last three places. One of the favourites ELOUERA BABE drew box 8 and was forced to race wide throughout over extra ground and finished in 4th place. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD shifted in on the bend when racing towards the rear and caused a check to ELLAVA SCRAP who lost three lengths and she finished in last place. ELLAVA SCRAP suffered a toe injury, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days. |

| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C5 - C5 - 305 | LETHAL REBEL and ANOTHER DRIZZLE were the slowest to begin losing two lengths. LETHAL REBEL recovered and secured a clear inside run to finish in 3rd place. MOODY MAN checked off the heels of ROSEMORE OSTI on the first corner, went back and out checking ANOTHER DRIZZLE and they stayed back to finish at the rear. ROSEMORE OSTI checked off the heels of MIRAGE on the bend losing two lengths but made up ground to finish in 4th place. |
| Race 6 | Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305 | BLACK CAULDRON was the slowest to begin from box 8 and she then raced a little wide and finished in 5th place. |
| Race 7 | Broad Roofing C5 Final - C5f - 305 | IMA SPICE and ANOTHER MOVE were slow to begin losing three lengths. One of the favourites BERELLA CHELSEA was also a little slow to begin. ART DECO was midfield on the first corner but was checked losing five lengths and BERRELLA CHELSEA who was following was also checked. |
| Race 8 | Keenan Concrete C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | WILD VAGABOND shifted in from the start and checked SASSAFRAS and soon after, CORTECCIA also shifted in and jostled with SASSAFRAS for several strides and they settled in the rear group. EFF FIVE WARNING checked over the heels of BOTANY ANN on the final bend and ran on from there to finish in 2nd place. WOT PRICE AGRO raced in the rear group approaching the back straight but drifted off the back of the field from there and finished several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | GEON Wellington C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK ELITE and GROOVY SHANE were slow to begin losing three lengths. BOTANY ANGELA shifted in from the start and checked SEDGEBROOK LEE who lost ground. BOTANY ANGELA made the first corner awkwardly and dropped back onto RUN RILEY RUN who shifted out and bumped with SEDGEBROOK ELITE and they ran wide into the bend covering extra ground. RUN RILEY RUN appeared awkward in its galloping action following the incident and finished in last place, was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. ROYAL PARDON and SEDGEBROOK LEE jostled together for several strides on the bend and ROYAL PARDON appeared to be suffering from an injury entering the home straight and dropped well behind the other runners from soon after the finish line. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with an injury to a carpus / stopper bone. |
| Race 10 | Mickey's Super Liquor C4 - C4 - 305 | PARRA SPARRA was slow to begin losing four lengths and he stayed at the rear throughout the race. FLYING FLYNN was tightened between runners on the first corner and dropped back onto OOH LA COOL who lost three lengths and all chance of a first four placing. |
