Judicial report: Under the Minor Infringement Table, Trainer B.Johnston was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69 .11 when presenting GUNS ON FIRE for race 3, 2.1 kilograms overweight from its last start on 12.03.12. Several Trainers and Licence holders were spoken to advisedly and reminded of their obligations under Rules 66.4 and 66.5 in relation to signing Forms Of Authority when the Trainer of a Greyhound is not in attendance at a race meeting and they were instructed to have the forms completed and lodged with the Stewards in accordance with the Rules.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305	RUSTY SAM and TRENDY KNOCKAS were slow to begin losing two lengths. TRENDY KNOCKAS recovered to win the race but RUSTY SAM stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. THIRSTY SHAYNE shifted in on the first corner and checked DIGGIN ON YOU who went back onto VICKIS QUEST and LEADFOOT LENNY and all three dogs lost ground. HOME BREWER was sharing the lead entering the home straight where he turned his head out towards TRENDY KNOCKAS for a few strides. HOME BREWER was examined by the Vet and found to have tricep and wrist pain with a 14 day stand down recommended. However, HOME BREWER was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 .
Race 2	GUTHRIE BOWRON C0 - C0 - 305	JUST A MATE was slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. LISSADELL JASPER raced wide on the bend and into the straight over extra ground and finished near the rear.
Race 3	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 305	SANDY BAY raced wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place. GUNS ON FIRE re opened an old tail wound and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD C1 - C1 - 305	PRINCELY DOLLAR and URUTI STORM collided soon after the start and lost a little ground. THRILLING NEWS shifted in on the first corner and checked URUTI STORM who lost several lengths and went back to last. THRILLING NEWS then shifted out and collided with NELLY FLAHERTY and they both lost ground and finished in the rear group.
Race 5	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C0 FINAL - C0f - 305	LITTLE BITTY GAL shifted in from the start and caused bumping to FOUR TOO MANY and SCARILICIOUS who both lost momentum for a couple of strides. SCARILICIOUS shifted in going to the first corner and severely checked TILLY BAXTER who almost fell losing several lengths. RANDOM ACT was checked soon after and also lost several lengths and finished in 2nd last place. TAKE ON ME jumped to the lead from the boxes but then turned its head and shifted out towards KEROBOKAN and lost ground as a result. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure.
Race 6	GEON WELLINGTON C1 - C1 - 520	JOE BANNER, TWIN TIGERS and WHAT A MATE bumped together for several strides on the first bend and lost ground. JOE BANNER drifted off the back of the field in the back straight and finished several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with pain in a quadricep.
Race 7	WANGANUI SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	POWER GIRL shifted in on the first turn when going to the lead and checked CYCLONE SIX and KUROHARA who both lost three lengths. They then raced wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in 5th and 6th places.
Race 8	KEENAN CONCRETE C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	TUMMY KRUNCHES shifted in going to the first corner and checked HAIR HE IS who lost ground. PRINCESS SHILOH and RAMESSEE collided on the first corner and both lost a little ground. PRINCESS SHILOH and TUMMY KRUNCHES brushed together going into the bend and TUMMY KRUNCHES lost a little momentum but ran on quite well to finish in 3rd place. PRINCESS SHILOH ran very wide on the bend and into the straight losing ground and she finiished in 2nd last place.
Race 9	BROAD ROOFING C1 - C1 - 305	EVE HILL shifted in sharply from the start and dictated the line of HOMEBUSH MAYHEM for several strides but they were clear of other runners. The favourite EMMAS SECRET was a little slow to begin and was checked soon after when SISTER VIRTUE shifted out across her line and she went back to last. EMMAS SECRET stayed back throughout the race finishing in last place and she was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 10	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C0/1D - C1d - 645	As he has been inclined in recent starts, SLICE OF MAGIC again failed to jump from the boxes on terms with the other runners losing several lengths and he tailed the field throughout and finished last. SLICE OF MAGIC was examined by the Vet, was found to be suffering from wrist and tricep pain and was stood down for 14 days and is also stood down under Rule 81.1 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next competing at a Totalisator meeting.
Race 11	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C1 - C1 - 305	The favourite ASTONISHING was checked soon after the start and again on the bend losing a little ground on both occasions and she finished in 4th place.
Race 12	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH CINDY shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to KEZZ, LEOS GIRL and BELLA SIENNA who all lost ground. General crowding on the first corner resulted in checks to LEOS GIRL, BELLA SIENNA, RUN A BATH and LISSADELL TOBY and they lost several lengths and all chance and finished in the last four places.
