Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Socrates was presented at 31.2kg which was 1.7.kg under the greyhounds previous weight from its last start on 9th March. Trainer D Stapleton admitted a breach of rule 69.11 and was fined $100.00 in accordance with the minor infringment table. Stewards deemed the performance of Doosra to be unacceptable(Rule 81.1) and stood Doosra down from distance races until such time that a trial over 520mt can be completed to the stewards satisfaction.Trainers D&J Fahey stated it was their intention to keep Doosra to races under 395 mt from now on.Stewards deemed the performance of Grant A Dollar to be unexceptable and after discussion with trainer R Breen stood Grant A Dollar down to perform a satisfactory trial(Rule 81.1) prior to racing at Addington next.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	Shortly after the start All Against Me was squeezed between runners . Rounding the bend Ohoka Gerry shifted outwards and forced Black Ozark into the line of Froggy Newitt ,which was checked and lost ground ,the trailing All About Me was also hampered in this incident. Into the straight Power Girl shifted out off the heels of Hot Shot Lawyer.
Race 2	Borat At Stud Dash - C0 - 295	Fat Sally shifted down to the rails after start and hampered Grant A Dollar and Home Truth . Hit The Lip and Decado jostled for a short distance after the start . Grant A Dollar shifted out and bumped Hit The Lip in the run to the bend and continued to run very wide rounding the bend extinguishing all chance of finishing in a competitive position. A post race veterinary inspection of Grant A Dollar revealed no obvious abnormalities. . Stewards deemed the performance of this runner to be unexceptable and after discussion with trainer R Breen stood Grant A Dollar down to perform a satisfactory trial(Rule 81.1) prior to racing at Addington next.
Race 3	Jet Pets Dash - C1 - 295	Homebush Mayhem was squeezed and lost momentun shortly after the start when runners either side shifted ground. Into the first bend Where Sloy shifted wider into the line of Rulebook Ray and the trailing Homebush Mayhem ,which resulted in these runners checking and losing ground.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C0 - 295	Runway Queen and Fear Go were slow to jump. From the jump Thirsty Shane crossed from the outside box and Just Kristy ran outwards with resulting checks to What A Dump and Jumpin Jalapeno. Into the turn Just Kristy moved outwards and bumped What A Dump with Jumpin Jalapeno checked. On the turn Fear Go clipped the rear of Fur Patrol and ran outwards forcing What A Dump wide.
Race 5	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 1	Weary Traveler and Opawa Rapid were slow to jump. Into the first turn Shadow Wolf moved outwards and forced Avec Lamour and Opawa Rapid wide with Weary Traveler also receiving a check. Into the back straight Mulberry Rose checked off the rear of Dancing Norris and ran wide.
Race 6	Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Sprint - C1 - 295	Ohoka Summer was slow to begin . Rounding the bend Wandy Luck shifted down to rail and Uno Imogene galloped up on heels with both runners losing all chance also hampered in this incident was Ohoka Summer .
Race 7	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 2	Pied Warrior was slow to begin .Shortly after the start Opawa Charlie was checked and lost ground. Into the first bend Miss Ozark made contact with Fun Time Girl. Doosra which lead throughout was observed to shorten stride over the concluding stages and fall at the lure , a post race veterinary inspection revealed no obvious abnormalities other than cramping . Stewards deemed the performance of Doosra to be unacceptable(Rule 81.1) and stood Doosra down from distance races until such time that a trial over 520mt can be completed to the stewards satisfaction.Trainers D&J Fahey stated it was their intention to keep Doosra to races under 395 mt from now on..
Race 8	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1/2 - 295	Where What When was slow to begin . Okuku Bobo and Bennys Angel made contact shortly after the start.Into the first bend Where What When checked off the heels of Meander. Belfast Suzy ran wide on the bend and forced Okuku Bobo over extra ground . Into the straight Bennys Angel checked off the heels of Belfast Suzy and changed ground inwards.
Race 9	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 3	Nitro Express was slow to begin .Black Jay and Opawa Peekay made contact at the start. Shortly after the start Black Jay and Distinct Image shifted ground and tightened and checked ,Nitro Express ,Silvia Sue, Cawbourne Heidi and Opawa Peekay.Rounding the turn Opawa Peekay was clipped from behind by Nitro Express and lost momentum.
Race 10	racingdogs.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	Princely Dollar and Johnnys Blue were slow to begin .Princely Dollar checked off the heels of Twister Al when racing into the first bend.
Race 11	The Miller Bar & Cafe Stakes - C2 - 520	Shortly after the start Maximum Jewel shifted inwards and made contact with Jinjarango which in turn moved inwards and tightened and checked Lagoon Beach Boy,Site An Excuse and Tricky Harry. Stewards ordered a post race veterinary inspection of favoured runner Jinjarango which disappointed, this check revealed no obvious abnormalities.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C1/2 - 295	Fiery Flower was checked and lost ground in the run to the first bend when in restricted room. Sea Spray Titch shifted out of the heels of Homebush Domino when rounding the bend.
