Judicial report: Trainer B.Johnston was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when MAINLAND SONIC was presented 1.9 kilograms over its last start weight on 07.03.2012. ENAZUMA a starter in race 7 was stood down for 3 months after a 2nd breach of Rule 80.1 b when he failed to pursue the lure throughout the race. ENAZUMA is also required to complete a satisfactory trial before next starting at a Totalisator meeting.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 HEAT 1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	SCARILICIOUS was slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground to dead heat for 3rd placing. TENKAY DOWN shifted in from the start and checked DIGGIN ON YOU, LEADFOOT LENNY and MISSY MACABRE who all lost ground and settled at the rear. LEADFOOT LENNY and DIGGIN ON YOU collided on the first corner and DIGGIN ON YOU lost four lengths and finished in last place. LEADFOOT LENNY and TENKAY DOWN ran wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground.
Race 2	GUTHRIE BOWRON C0 HEAT 2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	FIVE TOO MANY, RAVEON and THUNDERING JET were slow to begin losing two lengths. FIVE TOO MANY and THUNDERING JET were both checked losing ground going into the bend. WATERBUG led to the first corner but then shifted out going into the bend and lost ground and she finished in 6th place. LITTLE BITTY GAL shifted out on the home turn and checked LILYLICIOUS who fell. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 HEAT 3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	SANDY BAY was slow to begin losing four lengths and he then raced wide covering extra ground and finished near the rear. KEROBOKAN shifted in from the start and checked MARJI MAYCEE and MISS MOET who both lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD C0 HEAT 4 - C0q - 305 Heat 4	WISE WONDER, HOMEBUSH EDDIE and HURRICANE HOLMES were slow to begin losing three lengths. WISE WONDER then showed good speed to be handy on the first corner but checked off the heels of TANYBRYN and lost ground. She then recovered to finish in 2nd place. ZACCARA went off stride on the bend and drifted back and collided with HURRICANE HOLMES. ZACCARA continued to lose ground and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with pain in a stifle.
Race 5	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	VIOHLAY and WHAT A MATE were a little slow to begin and they then collided on the first corner and ran wide into the bend losing further ground and finished in the rear group.. OPAWA GIFT and FANTA ALERT were in the leading group of three going into the final bend where FANTA ALERT galloped on the heels of OPAWA GIFT with both losing ground and the chance of a first four placing.
Race 6	GEON WELLINGTON C1 - C1 - 305	URUTI STORM and BINTY FLAHERTY were slow to begin losing two lengths but they recovered to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. BINTY FLAHERTY, CRYSTAL SAL and THAT IS ALL jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and CRYSTAL SAL and THAT IS ALL eventually checked and went back to the rear, CRYSTAL SAL appeared to be off stride after the incident and dropped out to finish a few lengths behind the 2nd last dog. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 7	WANGANUI SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	BELLA SIENNA shifted in from the start and checked RON BAXTER who then collided with BOILED LOLLIES and they both lost a little ground but recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places. BOILED LOLLIES also lost a little ground when checked on the first corner. Soon after NICKI HAKA was checked and fell and she was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. ENAZUMA led from soon after the start but eased and turned his head on the home turn but then raced truly again to win. After viewing a DVD, the Trainer elected to waive the Vet check and admitted a charge that ENAZUMA had breached the Rules and as it was a 2nd offence under Rule 80.1 b, ENAZUMA was stood down for 3 months and is required to complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 8	KEENAN CONCRETE C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	The favourite LIL MISS KRUNCH was a little slow to begin and was then checked on the first corner losing four lengths. She then raced wide on the final bend covering extra ground and finished in 5th place. OKUKU STAR, SHEZA RATBAG and SHOULD BE CARLOS jostled together going to the first corner. LINDOP and SHOULD BE CARLOS then jostled together on the first bend with both losing ground and SHEZA RATBAG was also checked on the first bend and she went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 9	BROAD ROOFING C0D - C0d - 645	All clear.
Race 10	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C1 - C1 - 305	NELLY FLAHERTY was slow to begin. OCTANE ROYALE jumped out and CYCLONE SIX jumped in at the start and this resulted in checks to SAND QUEEN and OKUKU LILLY who were drawn in between. BRODIE BAXTER was checked losing four lengths going into the bend and he stayed back to finish in last place. .
Race 11	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C1 - C1 - 305	MAINLAND SONIC shifted out soon after the start and checked IN OR OUT and HOMEBUSH SUE and they lost ground. HOMEBUSH CECIL shifted in on the first corner and checked IN OR OUT and CAWBOURNE AVA who both lost ground and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 12	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	SYDILICIOUS was very slow to begin losing five lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 4th place.
