| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C1 - C1 - 305 | BACK AT YA shifted out sharply from the start and raced very wide throughout but just held on to win the race narrowly. HOMEBUSH BATMAN shifted out going into the bend and forced BOILED LOLLIES onto the line of THRILLING ISSUES who was checked back to last. THRILLING ISSUES then made up ground to finish in 5th place. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 305 | NELLY FLAHERTY shifted out going into the bend and forced HOMEBUSH GWEN wide and they both lost ground and finished in the last two places. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 | HOMEBUSH DIP was slow to begin and he raced at the rear and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with generalised muscle soreness and mild acidosis. PRINCESS SHILOH drew box 8 and was forced to race wide on the first bend covering extra ground and finished in 4th place. BONNIE BOUCHEA suffered a pad injury and was stood down for 10 days. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | BINTY FLAHERTY and SAND QUEEN bumped together soon after the start. HOMEBUSH JEM bumped the hind quarters of SAND QUEEN going into the first turn and SAND QUEEN became a little unbalanced, went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | One of the favourites COOL EXPLORER was the slowest to begin losing a length. HOMEBUSH ALEX shifted in on the first turn and checked CHELSEAS BEAUTY, OUT BY FIVE, SHEZA RATBAG, HAPPY CLAPPY and COOL EXPLORER with HAPPY CLAPPY and SHEZA RATBAG being the most affected and they went back to the rear and stayed there to finish in the last two places. |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | DARLYNE OTTEY shifted in from the start and collided with MISSING MELODY and they both lost momentum for a couple of strides. RYBENBROOK JOSH shifted in from the start and checked ROADMANS SHACK, BOTANY GARETH and BUDDY BROKE who all lost ground. TARRA MAGIC led going into the first bend but was galloped on by RYBENBROOK JOSH and dragged down and suffered an injury and she took no further part in the race. RYBENBROOK JOSH and DARLYNE OTTEY were also affected in the incident losing ground.. Entering the back straight, BOTANY GARETH raced onto the back of MISSING MELODY and went back and out onto DARLYNE OTTEY and they lost several lengths and all chance. TARRA MAGIC was examined by the Vet and stood down for 42 days with a fractured hock. |
| Race 7 | GEON Wellington C5 Ht1 - C5q - 305 Heat 1 | CIAO FOR NOW shifted in from the start and collided with BELFAST NODDIE who was pushed in onto BOTANY ANGELA and all three lost ground and settled back in the field. BELFAST NODDIE shifted out on the first corner and checked STATELY BABE who went back to last and finished in that position. CIAO FOR NOW checked off the heels of DONNA BAXTER on the bend and lost two lengths. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C5 Ht2 - C5q - 305 Heat 2 | CAWBOURNE MO and STIFF bumped together when the start was made and settled back in the field. ARIAL BAXTER shifted in going into the first turn and caused checks to itself and also STIFF and CAWBOURNE MO and they all lost ground and finished in the last three places. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing C3 - C3 - 305 | The start was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of T.A.B Control. REQUEST FUNDING was slow to begin losing two lengths. PARRA SPARRA checked off the back of ANOTHER STREET going into the bend and lost three lengths. The winner DONKEY DEEP took a heavy tumble when pulling up at the lure and she was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 10 | Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 520 | TAILS OFF shifted in from the start and checked MR JAZZ MAN who lost a little ground. MR JAZZ MAN and MISS FOLEY then bumped together going to the first corner and MISS FOLEY shifted out and forced BIG GIRL WELSHY and BOTANY BARB to run wide into the first bend and BOTANY BARB went back to last and stayed there to finish in that position. |
| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | GLENADDIS BOY, MY GIRL MARINA and BOTANY ANN were the slowest to begin losing two lengths and they stayed back throughout to finish in the last three places. HOMEBUSH BRITNEY shifted in going to the first corner and inconvenienced JENNINGS and HOMEBUSH ZITA for a few strides and they lost a length. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C3/4 - C3/4 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK LEE, ROSEMORE OSTI and BOUND BY PRIDE were a little slow to begin. ROSEMORE OSTI and BOUND BY PRIDE recovered to finish 1st and 3rd but SEDGEBROOK LEE was checked on the first corner when BRUTUS FINALE shifted in making firm contact with the rail and they booth lost ground and finished in the rear group. RONS SECRET was checked going to the first corner losing three lengths. GLENADDIS shifted away from the rail approaching the home straight and bumped with HOMEBUSH BUFFY and they both lost ground. BRUTUS FIINALE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a stifle injury. |
