Judicial report: Trainer Marcie Flipp reported to Stewards that LIFES GREAT has a groin strain after competing at last night's races. Trainers A McCook and J Jopson were fined $100.00 under the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 the details of which are that ARCHIES JET weighed in at 27.9 kgs which was 1.8 kgs above his last race weight on 21 February 2012.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	MR. BIG STUFF was the last to jump from the outside. RULEBOOK RAY was tightened into the bend and lost ground. MR. BIG STUFF was held up into the bend and lost momentum. On the home turn PHAEDRAS FIRST angled outwards and checked KNOW TRUST who lost a length.
Race 2	Carol's T.A.B Dash - C0 - 295	GRIDIRON was the last to jump. OPAWA SACHA was tightened into the bend and lost ground. Wider out UPSALA JEWEL ran outwards pushing GRIDIRON wider with both dogs dropping to the rear.
Race 3	Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C0 - 520	HOMEBUSH CRUZ was the last to jump. MISS FIT ran inwards into the first bend and checked FAT SALLY who lost ground. Into the back straight MISS FIT and RHYTHM IN BLUE came together with HOMEBUSH CRUZ being checked in behind. HOMEBUSH CRUZ appeared to hit the rail at this stage and dropped out to last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 4	Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295	FUR PATROL ran outwards soon after the jump with THIRSTY SHANE and GREEN TREATS being checked and dropping to the rear. FUR PATROL continued to run wide around the home turn and lost ground.
Race 5	Buy Sell & Exchange Stakes - C1 - 520	The favourite OPAWA RAPID was the last to jump but made ground well late for second.
Race 6	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C1 - 295	The favourite FINGER POP came up with the lids and settled last. He did well to get up for a fast finishing third. OHOKA GERRY angled outwards into the bend checking HOMEBUSH ACE who lost ground sharply and dropped to the rear. PRINCELY DOLLAR also received a slight check when racing on the outside of OHOKA GERRY on that bend.
Race 7	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1 - 520	SMOOCHA and OHOKA ASHLEY were the last to jump. ALCATRAZ BOY dropped out into the first bend and lost further ground finishing a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury with Trainer Paul Scott advising that the dog would be now retired. John Holdem the trainer of the winner TRICKY HARRY was questioned in regards to the dogs improved performance. He advised that the dog had been getting into trouble on the first bend but today had received a clear run. Mr Holdem added that the dog had been trialling well of late.
Race 8	Borat At Stud Dash - C1 - 295	ANOTHER JAK UP and FROGGY NEWITT came together in the early stages. Into the bend UNO IMOGENE angled outwards tightening WHERES SLOY and HUSKER DU with these runners losing ground.
Race 9	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	KYANN ran inwards soon after the jump and checked KNOW LOVE AFFAIR who lost ground. REDDY BOY ran wide around the home turn and lost ground. A post race veterinary check of SOMETIMES ALAN revealed a left calf muscle tear with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 10	NZ Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 732	The favourite DANGLE THE CARAT and ARCHIES JET dropped back over the early stages settling at the rear. DANGLE THE CARAT ran on late for third.
Race 11	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1 - 520	CRIXUS ran inwards soon after the jump tightening FUNNY MONEY, NITRO EXPRESS and OPAWA CHARLIE who lost ground. At the winning post the first time MIGHTY PROPHET angled inwards badly checking PIED WARRIOR who was severely checked and dropped to the rear. Soon after OPAWA CHARLIE came off the rail and pushed NITRO EXPRESS and KOMBUCHA wide around the bend losing ground. A post race veterinary check of PIED WARRIOR revealed no injury.
Race 12	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C2 - 295	WHAT WHERE WHEN and COLONELS CHOICE were the last to jump. WHAT WHERE WHEN went wide into the bend and lost more ground while COLONELS CHOICE finishing strongly for second. BELFAST SUZY shifted outwards in the run home coming together with COLONELS CHOICE for a stride.
Race 13	Flair Dash - C1 - 295	RAMBUNCTIOUS ran inwards in the early stages tightening FURIOUS RESPONSE and JAMES ARTHUR for a few strides.
Race 14	Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH MAYHEM was the last to jump. FINN MCMISSILE and BENNYS ANGEL came together for a stride at the jump. TIE MY TIE checked off the back of BENNYS ANGEL into the bend with BENNYS ANGEL running outwards and checking HOMEBUSH MAYHEM with these runners all losing ground.
