Judicial report: Further to the running report on race 9 at the race meeting at Manawatu Raceway on 12.03.12, FLAG WAVER who was taken from the track prior to being examined by the Vet after falling during the race was subsequently examined by the Vet away from the track and cleared of injury. The matter is the subject of contineing inquiries.

Race 1 Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C0 - C0 - 305 LADYLICIOUS was a little slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground to finish in 3rd place. MR DISH LICKER who finished near the rear appeared sore after the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a tricep muscle injury.
Race 2 Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 305 DIGGIN ON YOU, SCARILICIOUS, LIBBYLICIOUS and HOMEBUSH LARNA were slow to begin. DIGGIN ON YOU and SCARILICIOUS jostled together going to the first corner and DIGGIN ON YOU lost four lengths in the incident. WIND UP WHITEY shifted out on the bend and dictated LISA BAXTER outwards with both losing ground.
Race 3 Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 SKYILICIOUS and HOMEBUSH HELLS were slow to begin losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH HELLS and SKYILICIOUS then bumped together on the first corner and SKYILICIOUS lost several lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear. RANDOM ACT checked off the heels of LILYLICIOUS on the bend losing four lengths and all chance of a first four placing.
Race 4 Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 305 GERARD HAKA drifted off the back of the field going to the first corner and continued to lose ground and finished several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a thigh muscle injury.
Race 5 Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305 EVER SO HOPEFUL was the slowest to begin and he and JAYVILLE FLYER were tightened and checked back to the rear as runners drawn further out shifted in on the first corner and they stayed back to finish at the rear. EVER SO HOPEFUL appeared a little awkward in its galloping action and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with gracilus muscle and wrist pain.
Race 6 GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 520 REGAL STEP and SHADOWS MATE collided going to the first corner and settled at the rear. THRILLING ANNIE checked off the heels of OPAWA GIFT on the first corner and ran very wide into the bend losing several lengths. She then made up ground well to finish in 6th place.
Race 7 Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 ANOTHER JACK UP shifted out and CRYSTAL SAL shifted in from the start and this resulted in checks to ANOTHER JACK UP , THRILLING ISSUES and HUSKY HAKA who all lost ground. HAYLEYS WISH was slow to begin losing three lengths and HUSKY HAKA and HAYLEYS WISH then came together on the first corner and lost ground.
Race 8 Keenan Concrete C1 Final - C1f - 520 All clear.
Race 9 Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305 FROGGY NEWITT and HOMEBUSH MAYHEM were slow to begin losing three lengths. FROGGY NEWITT made up some ground to finish in 4th place but HOMEBUSH MAYHEM stayed back throughout and finished in last place. BABY FALOU shifted in on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH CINDY who went back onto HOMEBUSH SCOTTY and they both lost ground.
Race 10 Mickey's Super Liquor C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 JACKIE SHIRAZ was a little slow to begin and collided with UNTEACHABLE soon after. She then raced wide on the track throughout the remainder of the race and finished in last place.
Race 11 Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 305 APATCHIE SCOTT and OH EMM EYE jostled together on the first corner and APATCHIE SCOTT slipped behind losing several lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place. OH EMM EYE and BILLY HAKA bumped together for several strides in the home straight and they both lost some momentum.
Race 12 The Rock 95.2 FM C2 - C2 - 305 ELLAVA SCRAP shifted in on the first corner, clipped the heels of LINDOP and fell and SINGLE SCULLER was severely checked in the incident and almost fell and they finished several lengths behind the other runners. ELLAVA SCRAP was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
