| Race 1 | Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | TILLY BAXTER shifted in from the start and forced OPEHU TIGER and HOMEBUSH EDDIE in ontio GUNS ON FIRE who lost several lengths and he tailed the field throughout and finished last. GUNNA PARTY shifted out on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH EDDIE who lost three lengths and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | EVER SO HOPEFUL and STONES RIVER were slow to begin. EVER SO HOPEFUL recovered to win the race but STONES RIVER stayed back throughout and finished in last place. |
| Race 3 | GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375 | BINTY FLAHERTY was slow to begin losing two lengths. HOMEBUSH NELSON shifted in from the start and WISE CRACK LAD checked over its heels losing a little momentum but recovered to win the race. HOMEBUSH NELSON shifted in on the first corner and checked SISTER VIRTUE who went back onto HOMEBUSH BATMAN and they lost four lengths and all chance of a first four placing. SISTER VIRTUE suffered a toe injury and was stood down for 14 days. |
| Race 4 | Sparky's Bar and Restaurant C1 - C1 - 457 | CONOR MACHALL began awkwardly losing four lengths. PRINCE PARADE was also slow to begin and CONOR MACHALL then galloped onto his heels starting on the bend and PRICE PARADE went off stride and pulled up soon after.and appeared to be distressed. He was examined by the Vet and was cleared of injury apart from some superficial abrasions to the hind legs. The Trainer was requested to notify the Stewards if anything untoward becomes apparent in in the next few days. TUMMY KRUNCHER shifted in from the start and collided with TRINITY BOY and they both lost momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 5 | Peter Sinclair Photos C2 - C2 - 375 | The favourite STUMPY KASHKOW was a little slow to begin and was checked soon after when HOMEBUSH ALEX shifted in. HOMEBUSH ALEX shifted in again on the first corner and STUMPY KASHKOW was again checked and she then ran wide over extra ground and finished in 2nd last place. KRUSSIAN shifted out on the first corner and this resulted in RAMESSEE being checked and losing ground. KRUSSIAN and CHELSEAS BEAUTY collided going into the bend and both lost ground and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 6 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C2/3 - C2/3 - 375 | BOTANY BARB was awkwardly placed between runners and was checked losing ground on the first corner and she never recovered and finished last. One of the better supported runners HOMEBUSH TAYLOR drew box 8 and was forced to race wide throughout and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 7 | Foxton Sprint C5 - C5 - 375 | SEMENYA, MINDARIVA and DIRECT RESPONSE jostled together when the start was made and they lost ground and settled at the rear. SEMENYA then raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 8 | Shannon Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | The favourite PERRY WINKLE was handy in 2nd place on the bend but was checked losing three lengths but she recovered to finish the race strongly and win. |
| Race 9 | Hokowhitu Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375 | VISIONARY MAN shifted in on the first corner and collided with FLAG WAVER and they both fell and MIRAGE was brought down. MOLLY DARLING and SALLY SAY SO were also badly hindered in the incident with SALLY SAY SO also beinng classed as falling. All those affected in the incident were examined by the Vet except FLAG WAVER who was taken from the track prior to being examined and this will be the subject of inquiries. SALLY SAY SO was stood down for 21 days with lacerations between the toes. MOLLY DARLING was stood down for 12 days with lacerations to a hind leg, MIRAGE was stood down for 14 days with lacerations to toes and VISIONARY MAN was stood down for 14 days with concussion. |
| Race 10 | Pahiatua Sprint C4 - C4 - 375 | TWENTY SIXTY was away from the start well enough but was checked going to the first corner when ANOTHER DRIZZLE shifted in and TWENTY SIXTY went back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 11 | Marton Dash C4 - C4 - 375 | GLENADDIS shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to TRACKSIDE, ROSEMORE OSTI, TALEEDY TROOPER and BILLY WHIZ who all lost a little ground. ROSEMORE OSTI recovered to win the race. |
| Race 12 | Cloverlea Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | TE POPO JOE and RADAR SHIRAZ were slow to begin. TE POPO JOE recovered to make up ground and he finished in 3rd place. RADAR SHIRAZ stayed back and then ran wide on the bend and into the straight and finished in last place. PRINCESS SHILOH was checked losing ground on the first corner and also raced wide into the straight and she finished in 5th place. |
