Judicial report: AERIAL BAXTER who was a late scratching due to being in season at the Wanganui meeting on 24.02.12, was presented and rexamined by the Vet under the provisions of Rule 64.10 and the original stand down was rescinded.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C1 - C1 - 305	SHEZA RATBAG shifted in from the start and checked BINTY FLAHERTY and HOMEBUSH NELSON who both lost ground. CAWBOURNE COL was the slowest to begin but then made up ground to be just behind the leaders on the first corner where he was checked and went back onto BINTY FLAHERTY and HOMEBUSH NELSON and all three lost ground and they finished at the rear. CAWBOURNE COL was sore following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a suspected stress fracture to a metatarsal.
Race 2	Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 305	BELLA SIENNA shifted in from the start and pushed SISTER VIRTUE in across the heels of SAFFRON FLAHERTY and SISTER VIRTUE checked and lost ground. CYCLONE SIX and HOMEBUSH SCOTTY came together and jostled for several strides going into the bend and both lost ground, went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. CYCLONE SIX was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with wrist pain. HUSKY HAKA led on the bend but drifted wide covering extra ground and this possibly cost him the chance of winning instead of finishing in a close 2nd place.
Race 3	Harrison Hire Master C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	The favourite THRILLING SOUND was slow to begin losing three lengths. BULLABAKANKA raced onto the heels of HOMEBUSH HAYLEY on the first corner and fell. HOMEBUSH HAYLEY, GO BOOF and THRILLING SOUND also lost ground as a result of the incident and they finished at the rear. THRILLING SOUND lost further ground on the final bend when checking over the heels of GO BOOF. BULLABAKANKA was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH BRUCE and CAWBOURNE AVA were slow to begin ans settled at the rear. CHELSEAS BEAUTY shifted out going to the first corner and bumped HOMEBUSH JEM who lost ground, went back to the rear and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305	HOMEBUSH ALEX and KEITHY GEE jostled together for several strides goinng to the first corner losing several lengths and they finished at the rear of the field. KEACHYS MATE made firm contact with the rail on the first corner losing several lengths and he was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	FREDDY JOHN was tightened and lost ground at the start and settled back in the field. SIXTY TWENTY was checked going into the first bend losing four lengths and all chance of a first four placing. SUMMER SPICE, FREDDY JOHN and YANKEE LADY were checked and lost three lengths on the final bend.
Race 7	GEON Wellington C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	SEDGEBROOK LEE was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground to finish in 4th place. FLAG WAVER checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE FLICK on the bend losing several lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place. BERELLA CHELSEA was handy in 2nd place approaching the home turn but was bumped from the inside by ASHBY ELLY and pushed very wide losing ground and she finished in 3rd last place
Race 8	Wanganui Security R/A - R/A - 520	DARLEK KHAN checked off the heels of OOH LA COOL going to the first corner and shifted out causing jostling and checks to CAWBOURNE SMUDGE, RONAN MACHALL and CHAINSAW PETE who all lost ground.
Race 9	Broad Roofing C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	SEMENYA began very well to lead but then jostled with JENNINGS for several strides going to the first corner and they both lost ground. SEMENYA was the most affected losing five lengths and she went back onto SEDGEBROOK ELITE who also lost ground and they finished in the rear group.
Race 10	Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 520	JAG YOU ARE and BIG GIRL WELSHY jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and went back to the rear. JAG YOU ARE then checked off the heels of EMMA MARIE on the first corner and shifted out checking LOTTO RASPBERRY and BIG GIRL WELSHY who both lost several lengths and they never recovered and finished in the last two places.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C4 - C4 - 305	CAWBOURNE ELLEN was slow to begin losing three lengths and she then raced wide into the bend but did make up some ground to finish in 5th place. DIRECT RESPONSE shifted in from the start forcing SPEEDY LEESHELLE in onto MY GIRL MARINA and they jostled together for a few strides. TWENTY SIXTY racing adjacent to the rail, was pressured from the outside going to the first corner and went back to last and finished in 2nd last place. GROOVY SHANE was checked going into the bend, went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305	RONS SECRET shifted in going to the first turn and caused checks to HOMEBUSH ZITA, BOUND BY PRIDE and CAWBOURNE DARCY who all lost ground. CAWBOURNE DARCY drifted off the back of the field soon after and finished several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a spike wound to a calf muscle.
