| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295 | HOMEBUSH LARMA and NEW YORK AFFAIR were the slowest from the traps. Into the bend HOMEBUSH LARMA was tightened as JOHNNYS BLUE passed her. HOMEBUSH LARMA appeared to be uncomfortable in her action on the home turn dropping out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 2 | Borat At Stud Sprint - C0 - 295 | TILLY BAXTER was the last to jump. WHAT A DUMP and HOMEBUSH INDIA both wanted to run wide in the early stages causing some disruption midfield. DYNAMIK SPIRIT weakened on the home turn with HOMEBUSH INDIA being inconvenienced in behind. A post race veterinary check was carried out on DYNAMIK SPIRIT that revealed a shoulder injury with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 3 | Happy Birthday Kelly Sheppard Sprint - C1 - 295 | PHAEDRAS FIRST was a clear last on jumping. In the early stages BRANCH LANE, ALL AGAINST ME and OKUKU LILLY came together and lost ground. ALL AGAINST ME was tightened and lost ground into the bend. On the home turn BRANCH LANE and BOTANY HORNET came together when at the rear. |
| Race 4 | Murray@Ray White Ph 3715005 Maiden Stakes - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | HOMEBUSH CRUZ was a clear last on jumping. SILVIA SUE and CAPTAIN PHIL came together into the first bend with CAPTAIN PHIL being dragged down and dropping to the rear. CAPTAIN PHIL remained last throughout with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 5 | Happy 70th Birthday Doug Schultz Dash - C0 - 295 | THEOKOLES was very slow to jump. He made ground late for fifth. In the early stages MAXIS MATE ran outwards hampering BRODIE BAXTER, RUN ALAN and HOMEBUSH MAYHEM with these runners losing ground. HOMEBUSH MAYHEM then checked off the back of runners into the bend and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 6 | Murray@Ray White Ph 3715005 Maiden Stakes - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | YALDHURST FLYER was the last to jump from the outside. Into the first bend RHYTHM IN BLUE was smacked into the rail as OPAWA BOMB ran inwards. RHYTHM IN BLUE dropped to the rear with a post race veterinary check revealing shoulder pain with a seven day stand down recommended. FAT SALLY checked off YALDHURST FLYER on the home turn losing some momentum. She recovered to pass a couple in the run home. |
| Race 7 | Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C2 - 295 | SWIPER BEEJAY ran outwards in the early stages checking BILLY DABYNE and WHERES MY SEAT. In this incident SWIPER BEEJAY lost her feet and fell awkwardly and heavily. A post race veterinary check of SWIPER BEEJAY revealed a badly fractured leg from this incident with the dog being euthanised on humane grounds. EMIE ROSE and KILKENNY came together for a stride wider out. On the home turn REDDY BOY and KILKENNY brushed together when in midfield. |
| Race 8 | Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 | OPAWA CHARLIE ran wide around the first bend and remained wide and last thoughout. DOOSRA led until the final stages tying up badly and dropping out to finish seventh. A post race veterinary check revealed severe cramp with no stand down being deemed necessary. |
| Race 9 | greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295 | COLONELS CHOICE was last on jumping. FINN MCMISSILE ran inwards in the early stages tightening MERMAN JEWEL and NEW ORDER. |
| Race 10 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1 - 520 | FANTA ALERT ran inwards at the jump with FUNNY MONEY, CAWBOURNE HEIDI and OPAWA PEEKAY all being checked. MIGHTY PROPHET then ran outwards from his inside draw causing checks to FUNNY MONEY and OPAWA RAPID who lost some momentum. |
| Race 11 | Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C2 - 295 | SOMETIMES ALAN ran inwards checking ANOTHER RAEWYN soon after the jump. ANOTHER RAEWYN recovered well to be handy on the turn and was too strong in the straight. SWIP TASTIC angled inwards in the back straight with MRS. PATCH, KNOW LOVE AFFAIR and FOGGY STORM all being tightened and losing ground. |
| Race 12 | Jet Pets Dash - C2 - 295 | SEISMIC STORM dropped to the rear soon after the jump. Into the first bend OUR SWEET ROSE crossed to the rail tightening TRICKY HARRY who lost ground. On the home turn RED LABEL PENNY was tightened and lost ground. As she was losing ground TRICKY HARRY had to run outwards to avoid her with TRICKY HARRY pushing RONRAY CRUISER very wide with both dogs losing their chances. |
| Race 13 | Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295 | HUSKER DU was granted permission to box first after this dog had proven difficult to box in her last few starts. HOMEBUSH DAPHNE shifted inwards slightly soon after the jump with TWISTER AL and FROGGY NEWITT being inconvenienced. HUSKER DU checked outwards into the first bend with HOMEBUSH DAPHNE and TIE MY TIE being moved wider on the track. Soon after FROGGY NEWITT also ran outwards with HOMEBUSH DAPHNE and TIE MY TIE again being forced over extra ground. |
| Race 14 | Addington Events Centre Dash - C1 - 295 | POWER GIRL and OHOKA GERRY were the last to jump. WANDY LUCK ran inwards in the back straight and appeared to contact the rail losing ground. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. YAPSTER JEWEL was tightened into the bend and pushed OHOKA GERRY wider on the track. Soon after HOMEBUSH KALAMA was also tightened between runners and lost momentum. On the home turn OHOKA GERRY angled inwards and made solid contact with HALF THROTTLE with both dogs losing ground. |
| Race 15 | Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295 | OKUKU SKYHIGH was the last to jump. ANOTHER JAK UP ran inwards into the bend tightening KUNG FU TEDDY and UNO IMOGENE who lost ground. OKUKU SKYHIGH was also hampered at this stage and ran inwards hitting the rail with some force dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of OKUKU SKYHIGH revealed no injury. |
