Bruce Dann the trainer of the winner JACKSON CAT was questioned in regards to her improvement. He stated that she was freshened after her downgrade run and the handy draw helped her jump and run today. |
| Race 2 | Happy 70th Birthday Peter Rosanowski Dash - C4 - 295 | REAL CLEVER checked outwards in the early stages cannoning into OPAWA COLLAR who lost momentum. In behind GENISTA GARDENS and ANOTHER MATE were inconvenienced at this stage. On the bend FREDDIE BAXTER and KNOW ESCAPE came together for a stride. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C2 - 520 | CAWBOURNE JAKE was tightened in between SITE AN EXCUSE and WOT PRICE CURLY in the early stages dropping to the rear. ULTIMATE SPICE was tightened into the first bend and lost a length. |

| Race 6 | I Pave Concrete Dash - C5 - 295 | CAWBOURNE COOKIE and HOMEBUSH BAKUGAN were the last to jump. WHERES ROBYN was tightened soon after the jump and lost ground. |
| Race 7 | Flair Distance Feature - SPECAd - 645 | KNOW PERIL was the last to jump. The favourite DANGLE THE CARAT was checked between KNOW PERIL and UNION STEAM into the back straight and lost ground. She was then pushed wide in the back straight with UNION STEAM losing ground off her back. When in the clear in the straight DANGLE THE CARAT stormed home for third. |
| Race 8 | Coaster's Tavern Sprint Feature - SPECA - 295 | In a straggly start JED NORTON was the last to jump. EXCITING KYLE ran outwards into the bend tightening KNOW ADVANTAGE and checking ENABLE with these runners dropping to the rear. KNOW ADVANTAGE received another check soon after running home late for a closing fifth. |
| Race 9 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | OPAWA JOHNNY was the last to jump. SABRE DANCE received a sharp check in the early stages as GRACE HILL crossed quickly from her outside draw. Into the first bend an improving OPAWA JOHNNY was tightened and lost ground as ANOTHER BREEZE ran inwards. |

Into the bend OKUKU OLLIE angled inwards placing ANOTHER GON in restricted room with this runner losing ground and CAWBOURNE HARVEY being inconvenienced in behind. |
| Race 11 | Auckland Cup and Railway Heats Tonight Dash - C5 - 295 | ADINI was tightened to the rear soon after the jump. He put up a huge performance to loop the field on the turn and run away to win. ANOTHER BLEND, KNOW MISTAKE and PURE AND SPECIAL all came together when racing towards the rear into the turn. On the home turn CAWBOURNE FLIPPA was held up when racing on the back of COOL JORDIE with CAWBOURNE FLIPPA losing ground. |
