| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C1 - C1 - 305 | Nearing the home turn and into the final straight, HUSKY HAKA was inclined to lay out onto CYCLONE SIX. HOMEBUSH JODIE was away well with the feild, but started to drift back to the rear by several lengths and was observed to be short in its action down the home straight finishing several lengths last past the line. HOMEBUSH JODIE was sent for a vet check. and was found to have pain in right hind quadriceps & right hind calf muscles with a 7 day stand down recommended |
| Race 2 | Guthrie Bowron C1/2 - C1/2 - 305 | SHERMAN FLYER was a late scratching pre kenneling when found to have a hock injury with a 21 day stand down recommended. BELFAST CHEEKY began awkwardly. HAPPY CLAPPY shifted inwards after jumping making contact with BELFAST CHEEKY. Rounding the first turn LANSVALE SPARK had to steady when placed on the heels of BELFAST CHEEKY who came across to obtain the lead.BELFAST CHEEKY went back through the field to the rear and never got back in to contention from there on in BELFAST CHEEKY was sent for a vet check and was found to have pain in left hock with a 21 day stand down recommended |
| Race 3 | Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 520 | Soon after jumping, there was tightening in the field between WOT PRICE AGRO, PRINCE PARADE and WHAT A MATE. Rounding the first turn WHAT A MATE had to steady to avoid heels when PRINCE PARADE shifted out. As a result, REGAL STEP and HOMEBUSH WARRIOR were forced wider onto the track. WOT PRICE AGRO made the first turn awkwardly. Entering the back straight, HOMEBUSH SIENNA broke down and ran outwards sharply in to WHAT PRICE AGRO almost causing this runner to make contact with the outside fence WHAT PRICE AGRO lost 15 or so lengths and was not able to make up the ground there after A post race vet check revealed that HOMEBUSH SIENNA had sustained a fractured hock and the dog has been retired from racing WHAT PRICE AGRO was sent for a vet check and was found to have pain in left fore foot below wrist with a 10 day stand down recommended |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2 - C2 - 305 | MY BAD JONNY was akwardly away from the boxes ,he was bumped as they raced in to the first turn and then went off stride for a few metres going back a couple of lengths finishing in last placing at the line MY BAD JONNY was vetted after the race and was found to have suffered a sprain of right hind with a 21 day stand down recommended |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C5 - C5 - 305 | AERIAL BAXTER was a late scratching at pre race parade when found to be in season In the run down to the first turn IMA SPICE ran in on to MOODY MAN with this runner going back a couple of lengths |
| Race 6 | GEON Wellington C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | Racing in to the first bend EFF FIVE WARNING changed ground outwards sharply to avoid the heels of BOTANY GARETH ,at the same time as UPAHUT CINDY came in resulting in LOTTO RASPBERRY, EFF FIVE WARNING and THRILLING SOUND being forced out wide racing around the first bend, THRILLING SOUND, EFF FIVE WARNING and LOTTO RASPBERRY were racing in the rear some lengths behind the other runners and were attempting to make ground as they neared the home turn when EFF FIVE WARNING ran out in to the line of LOTTO RASPBERRY causing this dog to check back |
| Race 7 | Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305 | CAIO FOR NOW was away well in the early rush ,was soon tightened and checked back off heels losing several lengths back to the rear with CAWBOURNE JOSE also going back in this incident losing several lengths |
| Race 8 | Scott and Carla's Wedding C4 - C4 - 305 | SALLY SAY SO raced in the clear through out the journey ,she raced wide in to the home straight finishing in last placing at the line SALLY SAY SO was vetted at the Trainers request and was found to be suffering from pain in right superficial & deep pectoral muscle ,left infraspinatus pain with a 14 day stand down recommended |
| Race 9 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | From the start, DARLYNE OTTEY came across onto THREE INCH NAIL and YANKEE LADY with YANKEE LADY being tightened and squeezed in between runners costing her a length or so. THREE INCH NAIL recieved a bump by YANKEE LADY as she was going back. Going round the first bend, MICK MANIA was checked back several lengths as WANDY KYLE crossed his racing line and also caught a heel of BUDDY BROKE. MICK MANIA went back to the rear where he was no able to get into contention from there on and finished in last position. |
| Race 10 | Mickeys Super Liquor C4 - C4 - 305 | FLAG WAVER was the slowest into stride however was able to gain the lost ground quickly. Approaching the first bend, BLUE JEAN ALICE ran up onto the heels of TALEEDY TROOPER and was checked back a few strides. FLAG WAVER clipped the heels of TALEEDY TROOPER rounding the final straight when TALEEDY TROOPER shifted out to avoid the heels of FLYING FLYNN. |
| Race 11 | Broad Roofing C3 - C3 - 305 | Soon after leaving the boxes MEGA RUSH came out as BRUTUS FINALE came in with these two runners coming togther and jostling , Racing in to the first turn there was tightning between several runners with BRUTUS FINALE coming in on to KEITHY GEE and MEGA RUSH with these two runners being tighened and checked back to the rear and they were not able to get back in to contention from there on in being the last two placings at the line |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C3 - C3 - 305 | Racing in to the first turn UNO JAG was tightened and was forced to check back off the heels of HOMEBUSH ALEX with UNO JAG losing his position back towards the rear,soon after REQUEST FUNDING was hampered slightly as UNO JAG changed ground outwards |
