On the home turn LIFE WITH DEXTER was checked from behind by CHIPEWYAN who in turn was dragged down by GOTTA FIND BUBBA who ran outwards losing ground. Soon after this ZED KAY MAN ran outwards pushing APATCHIE SCOTT over extra territory. |
| Race 2 | Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C0 - 295 | BLICKLING BRIDGE ran inwards in the early stages tightening HOMEBUSH CRUZ and YALDHURST EDWARD who dropped to the rear. These two kennelmates were again checked soon after as NIKAU DANNY wanted out from the inside with HOMEBUSH CRUZ and YALDHURST EDWARD losing more ground. |
| Race 3 | Hampden Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295 | WISE WONDER, NEW YORK AFFAIR and AVEC LAMOUR were the last to jump. AVEC LAMOUR recovered well to record Ashley Bradhaw's first training success. THIRSTY SHAYNE was handy into the bend but was badly dragged down by HAUKO with THIRSTY SHAYNE dropping back through the field. HOMEBUSH HELLS was forced wide and NEW YORK AFFAIR was held up as a result of this incident. A post race veterinary check of THIRSTY SHAYNE revealed no injury. |
| Race 4 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C0 - 295 | HAZZAS LAD and HOMEBUSH INDIA were slow from the traps. A few strides after the jump MIGHTY MONICA ran sharply inwards checking FAT SALLY, BENNYS ANGEL and POWER GIRL all of whom lost ground. Soon after LEGEND BEE ran outwards checking WHAT A DUMP with the favourite POWER GIRL again losing ground in this incident. On the bend BENNYS ANGEL ran wide pushing WHAT A DUMP over a lot of extra ground. |
| Race 5 | greyhoundtips.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520 | OHOKA ASHLEY was a shade tardy from the traps. WEARY TRAVELER moved outwards on the home turn covering extra ground. |
| Race 6 | Borat At Stud Maiden Final - C0f - 295 | OHOKA GERRY, FINGER POP and JAMES ARTHUR were the slowest in a straggly start with FINGER POP angling outwards soon after the jump. |
| Race 7 | Coalgate Tavern Dash - C1 - 295 | In a race full of incidents ANOTHER JAK UP ran inwards soon after the jump checking CAWBOURNE CASEY and OKUKU SKYHIGH. Into the bend PHAEDRAS FIRST when contesting the lead was badly dragged down by CAWBOURNE CASEY as that runner moved off the fence. Soon after CAWBOURNE CASEY was dragged down by TOTALLY CONFUSED when ranging up to the leader with both dogs losing momentum. Early in the home straight ANOTHER JAK UP moved outwards slightly pushing STAR GUN and a recovering PHAEDRAS FIRST outwards with PHAEDRAS FIRST again being dragged down by TOTALLY CONFUSED and dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check of PHAEDRAS FIRST revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 8 | Business Time At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295 | EL MAESTRO was last to jump. Into the bend DOGGER BANK ran inwards with WHERES MY SEAT and WANDY OLIVIA both being badly checked and dropping to the rear. An improving EL MAESTRO was forced wide around these runners and CAWBOURNE SHOT pushed even wider on the home turn losing ground. |
| Race 9 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C0 - 520 | OSCAR TUIVASA and NITRO EXPRESS were the last to jump. Into the first bend OSCAR TUIVASA crossed to the rail when improving badly checking CAPTAIN PHIL and MUMS PRODIGY with these two runners dropping to the rear and staying there. A post race veterinary check of MUMS PRODIGY revealed no injury. |
| Race 10 | Wizelee At Stud Dash - C2 - 295 | BILLY DABYNE ran inwards in the early stages tightening BELFAST SUZY, SEA SPRAY TICH and KILKENNY with SEA SPRAY TICH dropping to the rear. ANOTHER RAEWYN was checked when racing on the outside of runners into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 11 | Yaldhurst Hotel Stakes - C1 - 520 | FUN TIME GIRL, OKUKU CRACKER and CRIXUS were all slow from the traps. KOMBUCHA was tightened into the first bend and then went down on his nose for a stride dropping to the rear. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. |
| Race 12 | Adelaide Supporters Trip Ph.3386145 Dash - C3 - 295 | AINT THAT COOL and EXCUSE PLEASE angled inwards in the early stages tightening JACKSON CAT, HOMEBUSH CRAIG and HOMEBUSH REECE who all lost ground and settled well back. |
| Race 13 | Sensative Harry At Stud Dash - C1 - 295 | HOMEBUSH NICK ran inwards in the early stages tightening MR. BIG STUFF and SYRIPS GIRL who lost ground. ALS BEST MATE ran outwards into the bend pushing SYRIPS GIRL and NEW ORDER wider with these runners losing their chances. In the home straight MR. BIG STUFF ran inwards and marred the running of HUSKER DU on two occasions. After viewing the head on replay Trainer Callum Weir admitted that MR. BIG STUFF had breached Rule 80.1.a. with the dog being stood down for 28 days and ordered to trial. |
| Race 14 | I Pave Concrete Sprint - C1 - 295 | BIGTIME YAHOO ran outwards after a few strides tightening SOCRATES and OPAWA DOLL who both lost ground. BIGTIME YAHOO continued to run wide into the bend pushing CAWBOURNE TOBES over extra ground. On the home turn TWISTER AL and SOCRATES came together when midfield on the rail. |
| Race 15 | Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295 | LES HART jumped well from the outside and ran inwards as is his custom resulting in every dog receiving tightening to some degree. The worst affected was KNOW TRUST along the inside who was badly checked and ran outwards pushing REDDY BOY and EL KILDA wide as a result. REDDY BOY continued to run very wide on the home turn losing ground before running home well for third. |
