| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295 | MUSTARD FUDGE was held up into the bend and lost ground with this runner checking wide soon after and dropping to the rear. Wider out HOMEBUSH SARINA ran inwards coming together with FEARSOME MCKAY and losing ground. |
| Race 2 | Flair Dash - C5 - 295 | KNOW MISTAKE and MISS CHANDON were the last to jump. FAIR MOVIN was handy into the bend but was then tightened as SUNSET BOMBER crossed from her outside with FAIR MOVIN losing a couple of lengths. On the bend SOSAN and MISS CHANDON came together when towards the rear. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C5 - 295 | WHAT A PEANUT was the last to jump. CAWBOURNE LISA was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. The favourite ADINI ran wide on the home turn but made ground well when balanced for a close second. |
| Race 4 | Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C2 - 520 | ICEBERG RAPPER and KNOW FUTURE were the last to jump. RONRAY CRUISER ran inwards in the early stages tightening ICEBERG RAPPER and CROSSFIRE MAX who lost ground. Into the first bend ULTIMATE SPICE checked off the back of ICEBERG RAPPER and lost ground. |
| Race 5 | Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Dash - C4 - 295 | ANY BAD HABITS ran outwards in the early stages contacting JACKPOT JACKIE for a stride. HOMEBUSH SARGE then ran inwards dictating the line of JACKPOT JACKIE and ANY BAD HABITS. PURE CHEMISTRY and HOMEBUSH SARGE came together on the home turn with HOMEBUSH SARGE losing momentum for a few strides. |
| Race 6 | Borat At Stud Stakes - C3 - 520 | KNOW REVENGE and the favourite RITZA NIGHT came together after a few strides with these runners dropping to the rear. CROSS TO DAPTO was tightened into the first bend and lost a few lengths. Soon after HOMEBUSH WILD checked outwards off the back of LIFES GREAT coming together with KNOW REVENGE with HOMEBUSH WILD dropping to the rear. |
| Race 7 | Hurunui Hotel Dash - C5 - 295 | JED NORTON and KNOW ADVANTAGE were last to jump. At the end of the back straight JED NORTON shifted inwards slightly and contacted DONT FORGET JET with JED NORTON taking a heavy fall. He regained his paws with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 8 | Chat's Bar QE2 Shopping Centre Stakes - C4 - 520 | ITS NOT EASY was last to jump. AWESOME BENDER checked sharply outwards in the early stages and hit the back of ITS NOT EASY losing ground and dropping to the rear. ANOTHER BREEZE angled inwards into the first bend and came together with dogs on his inside. As ANOTHER BREEZE was losing ground GONE AWOL was badly checked and lost ground with AWESOME BENDER dragging her down and causing both dogs to settle at the rear. Post race veterinary checks of AWESOME BENDER and GONE AWOL revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 9 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Canterbury Futurity Final - R/Af - 520 | ALABASTER ran outwards into the first bend contacting JINJARANGO and then MAXIMUM JEWEL on their outside with all of these dogs losing momentum. FELIXSTOWE and OPAWA JOHNNY came together on two occasions on that first bend with both dogs losing ground and dropping to the rear. GEOFF THE REF was inclined to run a shade wide on the bends losing some ground. |
| Race 10 | Buy Sell & Exchange Dash - C5 - 295 | COOL CHARMER was tightened as PRETTY GOOD crossed her into the bend with COOL CHARMER running outwards as she was losing ground. This caused WHERES ROBYN and RUSSELL HART to run wide with KNOW RIVAL pushed wider and BASILIO BALE held up in behind these runners. On the home turn KNOW RIVAL gave ground finishing last with a post race veterinary check revealing a triceps injury with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 11 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C5 - 520 | MORIARTY was the last to jump. Soon after the start KING OF CLUBS and MORIARTY came together dropping to the rear. On the first bend MAMAJA crossed to the rail and checked the favourite SAM I AM who was badly checked being relegated to the rear where he stayed. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 | ALWAYS A STORY was keen to get off the rail in the back straight checking GENISTA OUTLAW and ANOTHER MATE in the process. Into the bend ALWAYS A STORY continued to run outwards pushing ANOTHER MATE and LOSTA STYLE wider with these dogs losing ground. On the home turn GENISTA OUTLAW and LOSTA STYLE came together when at the rear. |
