Judicial report: LISA BAXTER won a qualifying trial but sustained an injury requiring staples with a ten day stand down recommended.

Race 1	MARCO VINCENT McCAHON ROSANOWSKI WELCOME - C3 - 390	ANOTHER LEGIN, ROSCA and EMILY were the slowest from the traps. Into the bend LETS DEBATE and ROSCA came together for a stride. Following the race RANGITOTO ROHI was found to have a cut foot with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 2	BRENDON BURKE @ FIRST NATIONAL - C1 - 390	BELLA ENFORCER was last to jump. CEE CEE ARE was sandwiched between FIRESIDE FOX and ANOTHER JAK UP soon after the jump and dropped to the rear. STAR GUN ran inwards into the bend tightening BLACK OZARK who lost ground. LADY IN SHADES ran outwards into the bend checking FIRESIDE FOX and ANOTHER JAK UP for a few strides and then continued to run wide forcing CEE CEE ARE over a lot of extra ground. A post race veterinary check of LADY IN SHADES revealed no injury.
Race 3	COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C1 - 390	FIVE OF HEARTS was the last to jump. LIFE WITH DEXTER checked outwards off runners on two occasions in the back straight losing ground. He made ground well late for third. PEGSON FIRE was checked and dropped out to last on the home turn with a post race veterinary check revealing pain in the left fore triceps muscle with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 4	$26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C2 - 390	REAL SLIM SHADY and RED TIGER were the last to jump. Into the bend RED TIGER ran inwards checking REAL SLIM SHADY who dropped to the rear.
Race 5	CENTRAL WATER CARRIERS - C0 - 457	HOMEBUSH CRUZ was the last to jump with OPAWA RAPID and OPAWA CHARLIE also settling well back. OPAWA CHARLIE remained wide throughout losing ground.
Race 6	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C1 - 457	HARDZ INGILLTAB was last to jump and ran inwards checking the back of SHADOW WOLF soon after. He made ground late for a close fifth. MOREPORT SHANNON angled inwards in the early stages causing some tightening to STAR CHICA on his inside. The favourite ANOTHER RAEWYN was tightened by WOT PRICE CURLY along the inside in the back straight and lost momentum dropping to a rearward position. SHADOW WOLF ran wide on the home turn losing ground.
Race 7	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C4/5 - 457	DYNA GROLL ran outwards soon after the jump coming together with BADJA BALE and MORIARTY. In the run down the back straight TORQUED UP moved away from the rail and then back down to the inside causing DYNA GROLL to be checked and TORQUED UP to lose momentum. SHUNT APPEAL also was inconvenienced in behind these runners and lost ground.
Race 8	Southland Greyhounds Maiden Distance - SPECAd - 630	BRASSED OFF ran outwards in the early stages forcing OZARKS CROWN wider with this dog coming together with SEISMIC STORM and MY BLIND SIDE who lost ground and settled at the rear.
Race 9	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C3 - 390	GENISTA LIGHTNIN ran outwards when looking for room in the home straight and checked HARMONY BAXTER who was badly checked and dropped to the rear.
Race 10	WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C4 - 390	HOMEBUSH SARGE and VAMPIRES SHADOW were the last to jump. OBSESSED ran inwards into the bend tightening SISSI and the favourite HOT MANGO who lost ground. Soon after JACKSON CAT ran outwards again checking HOT MANGO with VAMPIRES SHADOW being forced wide as a result.
Race 11	100% SELECTRIX - C4 - 390	GENISTA OUTLAW, MAGIC YOU and ITS NOT EASY were all slow to jump. GENISTA OUTLAW ran outwards in the run to the bend checking MAGIC YOU for a stride. HOMEBUSH SARINA and GENISTA OUTLAW came together for a stride into the bend. Following the race GOSS SAGE was found to have a badly ripped stopper pad with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C5 - 390	WAFFLER, NOBLE ENFORCER and PERSIAN OIL were the slowest from the traps. NOBLE ENFORCER ran inwards in the early stages checking WAFFLER for a stride. On the home turn TEPIRITA TIKI was keen to get to the outside and in doing so checked SANTA SLOY with TEPIRITA TIKI being turned sideways and both dogs losing ground and their chances.
