Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition
Scales: correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: The meeting was put back one race after race 4 due to there being a problem with a part of the running rail by the winning post
This was attended too by the track staff and the meeting went ahead there after with no further problems
MINT POWER ( D Schofield) had the endorsment cancelled on his papers at the Auckland GRC meeting on 5-2-2012 Rule 80.7 having completed the required number of races with out further problems

Race 1	Welcome To Cambridge Raceway - C1 - 375	From the boxes TAKE THE MICK ran stright across towards the rail and collided with BACK AT YA putting this runner off balance with RANDO REASON in behind being tightened and checked back to the rear at this point RANDO REASON never got in to contention there after racing in the rear finishing in last placing at the line BACK AT YA led in to the first turn then raced out wide as she usually does giving away ground where he finished in 5th placing at the line
Race 2	John Lamont Bobcat Hire Services Sprint - C0 - 375	FIVE TOO MANY dwelt at the start losing a length or so Racing down to the first turn SASHAS ONE and PICNIC TIME came together a couple of strides further on KARLA LEWINSKY came across and collide with SASHAS ONE with KARLA LEWINSKY going off stride and back to the rear where she stayed for the remainder of the race KARLA LEWINSKY was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found SMIDGED (fav) was kept out wide from the start and raced wide across the top bend and in to the home straight covering a lot of extra ground where she finished in the body of the field at the line
Race 3	Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C1 - 457	There was no head on coverage from track side for this race Racing in to the first turn PINT STAR and THRILLING HALO were hampered as the field tightened up with THRILLING HALO running out of racing room for several strides and changing ground outwards around runners racing widest across the top bend and in to the home straight finishing strongly for 4th placing at the line PINT STAR in in this incident went back to the rear and never recovered to get in to contention again ,but ran on in the latter stages to beat a coupleof runners to the line
Race 4	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C1 - 375	GREYSYND CHROME led out early and raced handily until the home turn where he was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action down the home straight ,but still held on for 4th placing at the line and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found As the field made their way towards the home turn BELFAST KING ran on to the back of DEB BALE and ending up on her inside where he ran ran in on to TIGERS IDOLwith these runners all being checked at this point and they filled the last few placings at the line DEB BALE was sent for a vet check and was found to have a split webbing left hind with a 14 day stand down recommended GREYSYND CHROME was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found BELFAST KING was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 5	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Six Pack Sprint - C2 - 375	In the run in to the first turn COOL AND DRY came across on to RUN FOR US, DOWNEY, FIRESIDE BLAZE and THANKS MERCEDES with these runners being tightened and checked at this point ,THANKS MERCEDES was able to keep up his momentum in very tight quarters on the inside to get out of trouble and run on for a very narrow win
Race 6	Kirstie McGrail @ Harcourts Stakes - C3 - 457	Racing in to the first turn FANCY STEP and SHELLY SHELBY came together with FANCY STEP losing a length or so at that point As the field neared the home turn EDWARD CULLEN in attempting to make ground ran out on to HAIR HE IS who was pushed out colliding with MONSHIRAZ with MONSHIRAZ and HAIR HE IS going back to the rear as they straightened for the run in
Race 7	White & Moreland Sprint - C3 - 375	Soon after the start THRILLING CAIRO came across on to REGAL TENT and LACHLAN VALLEY causing them to go back a length or so GRIZZ (fav) was slow away and raced in the rear until in to the home straight due to not being able to find racing room through the field ,when he did he finished strongly for 3rd placing at the line
Race 8	Varvatros At Stud Stakes - C5 - 457	FfANCY TOBY and MINT POWER were tightened racing in to the first turn
Race 9	All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C4 - 375	Racing in to the first turn REALON RHAPSODY came across on to ENOUGH IS ENOUGH causing him to be tightened and checked back to the rear Soon after the start BINGO STARR was hampered and went back a length or two ,a bit further on BINGO STARR was once again checked and ran out of room as WINSOME BUSTER came across on to him where he went back to the rear and never got in to contention from there on in finishing in the rear at the line
Race 10	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375	LOCHINVAR YASI and MATANUSKA (fav) were slowest away with MATANUSKA almost last in the eraly running ,he made good ground up through the field in the running to finish in 2nd placing at the line with the winner MY JACK ATTACK getting a clear lead on the field and running out an easy winner MATANUSKA was taken to the vet on returning to the hosedown area and was found to have suffered a cut to left forearm with a 7 day stand down recommended
Race 11	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C4 - 457	ASCENDING FORCE ran on to the lure at the finish several times and suffered a cut to left forearm with a 7 day stand down recommended
