Judicial report: THRILLING BRAT was entered for Race 9 the 755 metre race but was withdrawn before the draw with a 7 day stand down for a minor hock strain and a Vet certificate was supplied.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C1 - C1 - 305	SAFFRON FLAHERTY jumped on terms with the other runners but was checked and went back to last soon after. HOMEBUSH GAZEL and HOMEBUSH JODIE were checked going to the first corner losing a little ground. BIMBOO and NICKI HAKA bumped together going into the bend and both lost ground with BIMBOO the most affected and she lost four lengths.
Race 2	GUTHRIE BOWRON C2 - C2 - 305	THUNDA THIGHS was checked going to the first corner and went back onto THRILLING LYRIC with both dogs losing ground. IGNITE THE LIGHT checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH BRUCE on the bend and lost ground and he stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 3	COUPER CATERING C1 - C1 - 520	BIG GIRL WELSHY was bumped from the inside going into the first bend and shifted out forcing HOMEBUSH DIP wide and both lost ground. SHADOWS MATE checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH LACEY on the first bend and lost two lengths. TWIN TIGERS led from the start until entering the back straight where he ran wide losing his advantage and he finished in 5th place.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	This race was started 2 minutes late at the request of T.A.B Control. The race was all clear..
Race 5	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	The favourite STIFF shifted in from the start and bumped with SUIT YOURSELF who was forced in and collided with TALEEDY TROOPER. STIFF then had to check off the heels of CAWBOURNE LORNA going into the bend and lost a little ground but only battled from there and finished in 2nd last place. He was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 6	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 305	All clear.
Race 7	NZRS 520M FINAL - NZRSf - 520	BIGTIME KINVARA and BOTANY ANN came together and bumped when the start was made and they both lost ground. BIGTIME KINVARA recovered to make up ground and finished a close 2nd but BOTANY ANN stayed back throughout and finished in last place. MISSING MELODY was checked entering the back straight losing five lengths and all chance of a first four placing and she finished 6th.
Race 8	THE ROCK WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	The favourite BIG GIFT led from the start but faltered on the first corner and drifted back to finish in 5th place and was clearly lame on pulling up. BIG GIFT was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with muscle soreness in both shoulders.
Race 9	NZRS 755M FINAL - NZRSdf - 755	MR CHINO checked off the heels of BUDDY BROKE on the first corner and wen back onto THRILLING GRACE with both dogs losing ground. MR CHINO shifted out entering the home straight on the first occasion and forced JAG YOU ARE to race wide over extra ground.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	One of the favourites TARRA MAGIC was checked back to last on the first corner never recovered finishing four lengths last. TARRA MAGIC'S galloping action did not appear correct following the check and she was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 11	BROAD ROOFING C3 - C3 - 305	MY GIRL MARINA was the slowest to begin but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. The winner SAFE AND SECURE shifted out and turned its head out towards CAWBOURNE DARCY on the home turn forcing that runner and LIL LARRIKIN to race very wide into the straight. SAFE AND SECURE was examined by the Vet, cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure.
Race 12	WANGANUI SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH BERNIE shifted in going to the first corner and checked IN OR OUT who lost three lengths and he stayed back for the remainder of the race and finished last.
