Judicial report: Handler K.Gommans admitted a breach of Rule 88.1 p in that she failed to obey the orders of a Steward when requested to remove the strapping from YALDHURST FLYER a starter in race 10. There had been no application to strap the dog as per Rule 68.13 and under the Minor Infringement Table Ms Gommans was fined $ 150-00.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305	DASHER RUM began awkwardly losing ground and settled at the rear but made up ground to finish in 5th place.
Race 2	GUTHRIE BOWRON C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH LACEY was slow to begin losing four lengths but she made up ground well to finish in 4th place. HOMEBUSH SIENNA shifted in from the start and checked BOTANY HORNET who lost ground, went back to near the rear and stayed back throughout the race. CAWBOURNE COL was observed to be limping following the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a sprained wrist.
Race 3	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 305	GUNNA PARTY was slow to begin losing three lengths but ran on well to finish in 3rd place. POWER GIRL shifted in sharply from the start and checked OPEHU TIGER. HOMEBUSH SUE and OPAWA GIFT came together and bumped soon after and VIOHLAY and THAT IS ALL also suffering from bumping in the incident. OPAWA GIFT shifted in going to the first corner and checked OPEHU TIGER who lost ground and soon after POWER GIRL shifted in checking OPAWA GIFT who went back and out checking THAT IS ALL and they both lost ground and finished in the last two places.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD C1 - C1 - 305	SAUCY TOMATO, FAWN ALLEGRO and HOMEBUSH TEX jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and SAND QUEEN was also affected in the incident. As a result of the tightening HOMEBUSH TEX fell and the other three dogs all lost ground. HOMEBUSH TEX was examined by the Vet and euthanased due to a fractured hock.
Race 5	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C1 - C1 - 520	TRINITY BOY was a late scratching when found to have bruising to a hind leg when removed from the kennels to prepare to race. SLICE OF MAGIC was very slow to begin losing several lengths and he stayed well back throughout the race. GREYWINDS KOBY bumped with HOMEBUSH DIP on the first corner then shifted out and checked over the heels of MR MUTOLA losing five lengths. GREYWINDS KOBY continued to lose ground and finished several lengths last, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with pain in both wrists.
Race 6	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE MILLY slipped behind soon after the start losing five lengths but made up ground well to finish in 5th place. GINA MAC bumped with BILLY HAKA going to the first corner and again going into the bend and she lost ground on both occasions.
Race 7	THE ROCK C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH CRAIG and HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD were slow to begin losing two lengths. ANOTHER COFFEE shifted in going to the first corner and dictated EL KILDA and BLUESKY WONDER inwards and this movement resulted in SHOWTIME ADDIS and HOMEBUSH BAZIL being checked losing four lengths and all chance and they finished at the rear.
Race 8	KEENAN CONCRETE C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	HOMEBUSH IRIS shifted in to the rail on the first corner and caused checks to WOT PRICE AGRO, KANGO KLINK, HOMEBUSH MELL, WHAT A MATE and THUNDA THIGHS who all lost ground.
Race 9	BROAD ROOFING C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	BOND ECLIPSE shifted in going to the first corner and dictated TRICKY PAULA in towards the rail. TRICKY PAULA then shifted out going into the bend and raced wide covering extra ground and she drifted off the back of the field to finish several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 10	WANGANUI SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	EVER SO HOPEFUL was slow to begin losing two lengths and he then made up ground but checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH GWEN going into the bend, shifted out and forced YALDHURST FLYER and TONYS PEDRO to race very wide on the bend and into the straight and they finished in the last two places. EVER SO HOPEFUL then shifted out on the home turn and HOMEBUSH KITTY had to check over his heels and lost ground. WAIRERE MIRACLE led on the bend but ran wide losing ground. She then kept up a strong run to finish in 3rd place.
Race 11	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C2 - C2 - 305	CAWBOURNE TOBES was handy enough on the first corner but was checked back to last and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place.
