| Race 1 | AWAPUNI DASH C0 - C0 - 375 | THUNDERING JET raced wide on the bend and forced TE POPO JOE to race very wide covering extra ground. CHEMICALLY FREE also raced wide on the bend and into the straight but kept up a strong gallop to finish in 2nd place. LISSADELL JASPER, TE POPO JOE and BLAIR NINETY came together and bumped in the home straight and all three dogs lost momentum. |
| Race 2 | WOODVILLE DASH C1 - C1 - 375 | LISSADELL TOBY shifted in from the start and checked SHALF and HOMEBUSH BERNIE who both lost ground. SHALF recovered to finish 3rd but HOMEBUSH BERNIE stayed back throughout and finished in last place. BELFAST KING was handy approaching the home tiurn but was checked losing ground and ran a little wide into the straight and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 3 | CLOVERLEA SPRINT C1 - C1 - 375 | LEO'S GIRL and EVER SO HOPEFUL were slow to begin losing three lengths. EVER SO HOPEFUL made up ground to finish in 4th place but LEO'S GIRL stayed back throughout to finish in last place. The favourite RUN A BATH was also a little slow to begin and then checked off the heels of WILD VAGABOND on the first corner losing momentum and he finished in 6th place. |
| Race 4 | SPARKYS BAR AND RESTAURANT C2/3 - C2/3 - 375 | PRINCESS SHILOH was slow to begin losing three lengths and she then ran very wide covering extra ground on the bend but ran on well from there to finish in 5th place. |
| Race 5 | PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS C1 - C1 - 457 | ASHER shifted in from the start causing tightening and checks to CORTECCIA, HARRY HALL, MS TOURNAMENTAL and THRILLING HALO with HARRY HALL and THRILLING HALO being the most affected. CORTECCIA then checked off the heels of ALANA HALL on the bend with both losing ground and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 6 | WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C2 - C2 - 375 | TILT YOUR GLASS was slow to begin from box 8 and he then covered extra ground during the race and finished 6th . BARRY'S WAY and SCAMPER CLAIR were in the leading bunch on the first corner but were checked and went back causing checks to CAWBOURNE ELLEN, MISS FOLEY, EMMA MARIE aand TILT YOUR GLASS who all lost ground. |
| Race 7 | FOXTON STAKES C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | BIG EFFORT was slow to begin and he then ran wide covering extra ground on the bend and finished in 6th place. HOWLIN WIND shifted out in the run to the first corner and caused checks to YANKEE LADY and RONAN MACHALL who both lost four lengths and all chance. |
| Race 8 | SHANNON SPRINT C3 - C3 - 375 | BOND ECLIPSE was slow to begin losing three lengths but did make up ground to finish in 4th place. GO CRASH led to the home turn but drifted a little wide giving away the lead and finished in 2nd place. |
| Race 9 | HOKOWHITU DASH C4 - C4 - 375 | JAG YOU ARE and THRILLING BUDDY were slow to begin losing two lengths. PIN UP PUPPY was handy going into the bend but was checked when DON'T KNOW shifted out and PIN UP PUPPY went back onto THRILLING BUDDY with both losing ground and they finished in the rear group. |
| Race 10 | PAHIATUA DASH C5 - C5 - 375 | ANOTHER LADY was slow to begin losing two lengths and she stayed back throughout and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 11 | MARTON SPRINT C4 - C4 - 375 | TRACKSIDE began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance. CAWBOURNE JADE went off stride going into the bend and drifted off the back of the field and finished a long last. CAWBOURNE JADE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a tricep muscle injury. |
| Race 12 | FIELDING STAKES C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | CHAINSAW PETE and COOKED THE BOOK were slow to begin losing two lengths. RYBENBROOK FLASH shifted in going to the first corner and checked MR JAZZ MAN and MR METICULOUS who both lost several lengths and all chance. Soon after that incident, MR JAZZ MAN and CHAINSAW PETE jostled together for several strides with both losing ground and they finished in the rear group. RYBENBROOK FLASH suffered a laceration between the toes and was stood down for 5 days. |
