Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: EXCITING GIRL ( R Bond) was presented for revetting under rule 64.5 with her previous stand down injuries being all clear and has been cleared to race from 6-2-2012
A hearing was held in to the performance of JETSUN BELLE during the running in race one
A charge of non pursuit was laid against JETSUN BELLE under rule 80.1b ,Trainer Mr G Wilson and support person Mr R O'Regan viewed the replay and in their view beleived the dog to be pursing with due commitment with a possible injury being the cause of the dog not pusing the lure with due commitment along the back straight
JETSUN BELlE had been vetted all clear after the race
The Stewards after hearing a lengthy submission from Mr Wilson found the charge proven ,Mr Wilson was advised of his remidies under the rules should he wish to take the matter further
The Stewards agreed in their opinion JETSUN BELLE did fail to pursue the lure with due commitment throughout the running and was stood down for 28 days with a satisfactory trial as per the rule 80.1b

Race 1	Trophies Plus Sprint - C1/2 - 318	JETSUN BELLE was away well from the start from an inside draw and was handy in the eraly rush ,soon went back to the rear as COOL AND DRY crossed her to the rail ,with JETSUN BELLE going back to the rear by several lengths ,soon after JETSUN BELLE was observed to hesitate and shorten stride for 3 or so strides when clear of any other runners going back further in the rear ,then ran out wide into and around the top bend finishing in the rear at the line TEAM JACOB also raced wide in to and around the top bend running on strongly for 3rd placing at the line and may have finished a fair bit closer had he not covered so much extra ground througout the running JETSUN BELLE was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found JETSUN BELLE was charged under rule 80.1b with failing to pursue the lure with out commitment throughout the running ,a charge of non pursuit was laid against JETSUN BELLE with a 28 day stand down imposed (refer judicial)
Race 2	Thornton Auctions Stakes - C0 - 527	Racing in to the back straight HOT HOPE was in the lead when KARLA LEWINSKY attempted to make ground on this runner switched over the heels of the leader as PINT STAR made ground on the outer with FUTURE PROOF directly in behind these runners catching the heels of PINT STAR and falling PINT STAR was almost dragged down ,but got going again to run out an easy winner HOT PAL was also hampered by the fallen runner losing several lengths at this point FUTURE PROOF regained her footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was sent for a vet check SUNSET SPOCK and FUTURE PROOF bumped soon after the start with SUNSET SPOCK going back to the rear and finished well back at the line and was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered a left stopper pad injury with a 7 day stand down recommended
Race 3	www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 318	Soon after the start ART ATTACK came across the face of the field severley tightning LLAMEDOS, TEN FOUR at the same time LOCHLINNE came out from midfield on to these runners causing them to check back losing several lengths ,then RIVETTE DECODED cut in through the field towards the rail with LOCHLINNE getting checked back at that point
Race 4	Thornton Auctions Sprint - C4 - 318	Racing down to the first turn GENTLE ATTACK came across on to MISS ARKANSAS causing her to go back on to JETSUN JULES both being checked, with both these dogs went back to the rear and were not able to get into contention from there on in finishing in the last two placings at the line
Race 5	$15,000 Pick6 Stakes - C2/3 - 527	Raing in to the first turn SURFING AL came out off the rail on to HAIR HE IS who came out on to SEEING EXCUSES with MARK'S PET inside this runner being badly checked at this point as HUSTLER tried to move inwards MARK'S PET bumped HUSTLER who ran out wide ,in this movment MARK'S PET got off balance and ran out over the heels of HUSTLER covering a lot of ground on the point of the first bend MARK'S PET was not able to recover from this finishing in last placing at the line and was sent for a vet check
Race 6	Sels TAB Mangere Sprint - C3 - 318	LACHLAN VALLEY was away awkwardly for a couple of strides As the field got under way KEE came across on to QUEEN MOTHER who was checked back a couple of lengths , as the field raced in to the first turn REGAL TENT came out on to QUEEN MOTHER causing her to become off balance for a stride or so ,with her going back to the rear by several lengths with her finishing in that position at the line QUEEN MOTHER was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found The connections of QUEEN MOTHER were spoken to regarding her run and her form in her last few starts with a better performance expected in the future GOLD FOR THYS ran on to the lure at the pull up and was sent for a vet check with a cut on his left fore leg requiring suturing with a 3 day stand down recommended
Race 7	Varvatos @ Stud Stakes - C1 - 527	CASH KNOCKA (fav) was only away fairly from an inside draw with TWIN RIVERS coming over on to him ,SPARTACUS then raced across towards the rail running in to THRILLING PUNCH with CASH KNOCKA in behind being tightened and checked back towards the rear ,TWIN RIVERS and CHERRY TREE LANE ran wide in to and around the first bend CASH KNOCKA attempted to make up ground down the back straight but struck trouble again when running on to the heels of MISS JETSUN who had changed ground out in to the path of CASH KNOCKA with him going back several lengths and could not get into contention thereafter finishing in last placing at the line
Race 8	Auckland Cup Carnival 1st-8th March Sprint - C5 - 318	All clear
Race 9	Reel-Fishin.com Stakes - C4/5 - 527	THRILLING RANSOM was tightened and checked racing in to the first turn being pushed over on to THRILLING BOSS who made contact with the rail racing past the post the first time ,both these runners ended up in the rear with THRILLING RANSOM going back several lengths in the rear and finished in that position at the post ,THRILLING BOSS was not able to get back in to contention thereafter finishing ahead of his kennel mate at the line being the last two runners THRILLING BOSS was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found THRILLING RANSOM was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a fractured toe on left fore with a 2 month stand down recommended
Race 10	The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C4 - 318	LOCHINVAR YASI (fav) was only fairly away from wider out ,he was forced to race wide most of the journey covering extra ground finishing in the rear at the line, and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
