Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH SIENNA was slow to begin losing two lengths. One of the favourites CAWBOURNE MILLY shared the lead going to the first corner but was checked losing five lengths and all chance of a first four placing and she finished in 5th place.
Race 2	GUTHRIE BOWRON C3 - C3 - 305	BRUTUS FINALE and HOMEBUSH JEM were checked going to the first corner and they went back to the rear and finished in the last two places.
Race 3	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C1 - C1 - 305	SAUCY TOMATO was trailing the leaders going into the bend but was checked and went back onto SAND QUEEN. SAUCY TOMATO then shifted out and caught the heels of HOMEBUSH GAZEL who almost fell. SAUCY TOMATO then clipped the heels of SISTER VIRTUE a few strides later and SAUCY TOMATO almost fell and the four affected dogs finished at the rear of the field.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD C4 - C4 - 305	MELODYS MUSE shifted in going into the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE JADE who went back onto PLANKING and they went back to the rear. Soon after, MELODYS MUSE was struck from behind by FLYING FLYNN and she suffered an injury and dropped back quickly to finish a long last. MELODYS MUSE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a fractured metatarsal. PLANKING was limping following the race and was also inspected by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a hock strain.
Race 5	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	BOUND BY PRIDE was slow to begin losing three lengths. MOLLY DARLING started from box 2 and shifted out sharply going to the first corner and jostled with BOUND BY PRIDE for several strides with both losing ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 6	PALAMOUNTAINS NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 305	CHAINSAW PETE and LIL LARRIKIN were slow to begin losing two lengths. SALLY SAY SO was checked going into the bend and went back onto KERRYS DELIGHT with both losing ground and they finished in the rear group.
Race 7	THE ROCK WANGANUI C5 - C4/5 - 305	TALEEDY TROOPER began awkwardly losing ground and settled at the rear. He then made firm contact with the rail on two occasions going into the bend losing further ground and finished in last place. TALEEDY TROOPER was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. ASHBY ELLY drew box 7 and she raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and finished in 2nd last place. PALOMINE and CAWBOURNE LORNA came together and bumped entering the home straight and both dogs lost momentum but recovered to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. BLUE JEAN ALICE was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a torn nail.
Race 8	KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	This race started 2 minutes late at the request of Raceday Control. BIGTIME KINVARA began awkwardly losing ground but recovered well to go on and win the race. FREDDY JOHN was tightened between runners going to the first corner losing three lengths and going back to last but he did make up ground to finish in 5th place. BUDDY BROKE also lost ground in the incident and he finished in 6th place.
Race 9	BROAD ROOFING C5 - C4/5 - 305	CIAO FOR NOW was tightened between runners and checked back to near the rear and ROADMANS SHACK who was following was also checked losing ground and they finished in the rear group. ROADMANS SHACK suffered bruising inside a stifle joint and was stood down for 7 days.
Race 10	WANGANUI SECURITY C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	THRILLING SOUND was slow to begin losing three lengths. SURELY YOU JEST shifted in across the line of BONNIE BOUCHEA going to the first corner and BONNIE BOUCHEA lost ground. BONNIE BOUCHEA then rolled out across the heels of THRIILING SOUND on the first bend and lost two lengths and she stayed back to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 11	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH ROSEBUD shifted in and CAWBOURNE ELLEN shifted out at the start and this resulted in COOL EXPLORER being checked back to the rear. ANOTHER STREET shifted in on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH TAYLOR who went back onto MY BAD JONNY and they went back to the rear and stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 12	GEON WELLINGTON C3 - C3 - 305	GROOVY SHANE was slow to begin losing three lengths. SAFE AND SECURE was checked going into the first corner and went back causing OUT BY FIVE and REQUEST FUNDING to also lose ground and they never recovered and finished in the rear group. OUT BY FIVE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a split webbing.
